Hotels With Parking in Nagano Prefecture, Japan

This is a perfect spot in Nagano if you want to take a break before heading to other parts such as Hakuba for skiing . It is literally right at the station and connected via MIDORI where you can buy groceries and with lots of restaurants. Due to fight delay, we arrived late at night at around 10pm. MIDORI shops were all closed but ht path to hotel still open and we can still find plenty of cafes nearby. It has reserved Alpico bus to Hakuba right at hotel or you may go to the regular bus stop at bus station 26 for higher frequency of bus service. Will definitely stay here again if we need to stop over at Nagano. Though the hotel is not new, it’s spacious and clean enough for a comfortable stay .

I had a wonderful stay at Smile Hotel Nagano. The staff were extremely polite, helpful, and welcoming, which made my experience very comfortable from check-in to check-out. The ambience of the hotel is pleasant and relaxing, and everything was well maintained and clean. The services were smooth and efficient, and I truly appreciated the attention to guest comfort. Overall, it was a great stay, and I would definitely recommend Smile Hotel Nagano to anyone visiting the city. I would love to stay here again!

Tokyu Rei hotel is conveniently located right across the street from Nagano station. The rooms are of a good enough size for a short stay for a couple, single, or family with young kids. The beds are comfortable and the room clean. If staying a night or two to experience the Snow Monkey Park and the city of Nagano and it's surroundings, it's a good option. It's within walking distance of Zenjiko shrine, which is large and free to enter. The station is right across the street and offers many restaurants and a grocery store. For convenience, it's a good option.

room was very spacious and bed was comfortable. very clean and quiet. comfy bed with firm and soft pillow availability. onsen and gym are available as well. drying room for ski equipment and playroom for kids. service was very responsive and speaks english well enough to understand request. location is near to ski resort but very much away from anything else if you are not driving. their shuttle bus to train station only operates 3 times a day in the morning and afternoon. and there are only 2 food restaurant unless you cab out. nothing much to do in the evening and night. decent food and ambience. breakfast options are same everyday but variety was okay.

The service was great and the location was excellent. The facilities might be a bit old, but they're incredibly complete – there's a washing machine, vending machines, a microwave, and free coffee and snacks in the lobby. Overall, it's a good place to stay if the price is right.

The hotel is nice, from the station about 10 minutes walk almost in a straight line, wake up. The room was originally wrong, it was reserved for smokers, even though we don't smoke, the room was given the appropriate one, the smell in it was just not very good, like for those who don't smoke at all, it started already on the floor.But the staff, fortunately, were able to find us a replacement for a non-smoking room, yes, less, yes one big bed instead of two, but with stunning mountain views and a coffee machine. This was my first time in Karuizawa, and I picked this hotel blindly, but it turned out to be even better than I expected. The hotel is right next to the outlets, making shopping, getting around, and dining all super convenient. The room decor was also very cozy.

Thank you for the thoughtful service. The hotel is a bit far from Nagano Station, so I used the shuttle bus. The driver was also very polite and made the ride pleasant. If I have the chance to visit Nagano again, I'd like to stay here. *A special thank you to all the staff at the breakfast buffet.

A good hotel close to Nagano Station, though it's still about a 10-minute walk. They offer a buffet breakfast and even room cleaning (despite what was stated during booking about no cleaning for stays under 3 nights). Essential amenities are provided, including a hairdryer, kettle, mugs, toothbrushes, and so on. Downside #1: It gets cold inside during winter, so you have to turn on the air conditioning for heating. Downside #2: The outlets don't charge European laptops, even with an adapter. Downside #3: The Wi-Fi periodically disconnected.

This was a last minute selection on the train from Tokyo, but the right one. It's a short 5 minute walk from the Nagano station and has spacious rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful, but best of all, on arrival you are given a welcome drink and dessert of your choice. The entire place seems to be obsessed with desserts, to my liking. They also provides free ice cream and upon check out, bags of candy and cookies. Maybe it's a Christmas promotion, but a welcome surprise. The breakfast is a bit expensive, but has a nice selection of food choices, including salmon, more desserts, and various Japanese food. I only stayed one night, but I believe they have an onsen and other amenities. Well worth it. I stayed in other hotels in Nagano, and this one was superior.
