Great experience! The two ladies of the staff have been extremely nice. They helped us in every way they could. The hostel has amazing shared spaces, plenty of sunlight and plants (+ three cute birds!). The room has what you need, simple and neat.
We liked our stay very much :)

The hotel is very clean and has good amenities. The rooms are big, and it seemed there were not many tourists. The breakfast was good with a mixture of options. The hotel is very close to the train station but a bit far out from tourist sites. Qinghai however is a large province and so it’s not the fault of the hotel. Staff were friendly and provided advice on where to eat local food.

Booking the Guanhu International Hotel was the best decision we made on our Qinghai Lake trip! I have to give this hotel a perfect score!
First off, the hotel's facilities truly exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious and bright, and the bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable. Getting such a high-quality sleep experience in a high-altitude area is a rare treat. I especially want to highlight the hotel's robot service – it delivered items quickly and added a fun, high-tech touch to our stay.
Cleanliness was also impeccable. From the lobby and hallways to the guest rooms, everything was spotless, even the corners were meticulously cleaned, which made us feel very at ease.
But the service was definitely the biggest highlight of this stay! I particularly want to give a shout-out to our 'Little ******* Fox Butler'! From the moment we checked in, they provided attentive follow-up throughout our stay. Not only did they inform us of high-altitude precautions in advance, but they also helped us plan our local sightseeing routes. Their service was warm and meticulous, truly making us feel at home, and making our trip much more stress-free.
Finally, the hotel's restaurant deserves high praise too! The breakfast selection was very rich, the ingredients were fresh, and the regular meals offered authentic, great-tasting dishes. Every meal was incredibly satisfying.
Overall, both the hardware and software were flawless, and the value for money was exceptional. Next time I visit Qinghai Lake, I will definitely choose this hotel again. I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip here!

Alex from HangzhouOne of the best hotels I have been to in China. And that is saying something, with that high a competition in China. It is located in a very convenient point of the city, which is within 1-2 km to the food and shopping districts of the Xining Center. We got the superior queen room, which is the standard, and it comes at a very cheap price. Beautiful, old-fashioned room, large, with a desk and a comfy bed. Bathroom was nice, with both shower and a bathtub. We didn’t use the amenities in our short stay, but at that price it was worth it even without using them. Overall a very good experience, I would definitely recommend it

Guest UserI have been waiting for a long time, and finally the store opened this year. The owner Sanhua said that it was too cold in winter and the experience was not good, so the store was closed and only opened for half a year each year. The view of the homestay bar is amazing, just take a few photos with your mobile phone. I experienced the process of making thangka. In order to take care of novices, the line drawings were directly colored haha. The room has floor heating, which is still relatively warm. It is very suitable for vacation and daze, facing the grassland and snow-capped mountains, doing nothing.

Guest UserChoosing this hotel for our Qinghai-Gansu loop trip, the overall experience far exceeded our expectations. The location is incredibly convenient; for those driving, there's a large, free parking lot, and it's a short drive to nearby grasslands and salt lake attractions. The room was spotlessly clean, with soft and fluffy bedding. The humidifier was a perfect touch, wonderfully alleviating the discomfort of the dry northwest climate, and the 24-hour constant temperature hot water made showering extra relaxing after long days of sightseeing. The front desk staff were thoughtful and attentive, proactively recommending local delicacies and stargazing spots. Check-in and check-out were very efficient. The public area features a self-service laundry room with a dryer, which was great for quickly cleaning dusty clothes from the road. The hotel's soundproofing was excellent; it was quiet and peaceful at night, allowing us to fully recover from travel fatigue. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety, including local specialty snacks, and the value for money was outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Qinghai, and I'll definitely choose it again for my next trip.

BingyingThe rooms were clean and tidy, and the owner was very welcoming. The hotel includes a very generous breakfast, and you can also order dinner at the hotel if you prefer. The facilities are comparable to a five-star hotel. The hotel's location is very convenient, close to Heidushan Mountain, the Petroleum Town, and Ruyi Lake. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I have the chance to visit again.

The hotel lobby is shown here. The rooms are located in a separate building next door, and the style and facilities are quite different from the main building. It was quite a psychological difference. I didn't see any oxygen generators or other equipment. The upside is that it's close to the scenic area, only about 10 to 20 minutes by car from the Chaka Salt Lake Scenic Area. Downstairs, there's a row of small restaurants, and the prices are a bit pricey but acceptable.

Hygiene: When the room is vacant, the window is open, so there will be dust in the room. There were dead mosquitoes on my bed sheet (I cleaned it myself). People with strong cleanliness obsession should consider it carefully;
Environment: The view is pretty good. The grassland room type is in the first row, with no obstruction in front, and you can directly see the grassland and salt lake (but it is still a certain distance from the lake, not directly by the lake), but people who like the view can still consider it;
Starry sky at night: It depends entirely on the weather. I couldn't see a single star that night, only clouds and the moon.
Facilities: There is a projector (but you have to adjust the focus yourself and log in with a platform membership account, otherwise you can't see anything); the toilet is relatively small (no door, only a cloth), and the shower room is a separate wet area, which is okay, with stable water flow and temperature.
Parking: You can park directly in front of the hotel;
Others: The front desk is a bar, the atmosphere is good at night, but there is no experience.
Nearby: Some restaurants are within a 10-minute walk, which is quite convenient.

YurongThe best value hotel of this trip!!!
I didn't know much about Golog and Maqin, so I booked this pet-friendly hotel without much thought.
Parking was convenient.
They provided welcome fruit and a free late-night snack (although we didn't eat it because we were too full from dinner).
The bedroom was huge, the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, and there was a bathtub with disposable bath bags. The decor was beautiful, and the lighting was amazing.
All the slippers, tissues, and cups were much better than other guesthouses and hotels; even the plastic slippers were sterilized and packaged.
There's also a restaurant where you can order food, including snacks, desserts, and main courses, and the food was quite good.
The first floor has many postcards, handicrafts, etc., all worth checking out.
