This is an excellent hotel and we really enjoyed our stay here. Tina at the counter was very helpful in providing information for us and we enjoyed her recommendations for local food. The other staff we came into contact with, from cleaning personnel to other hotel employees, were very nice and considerate. The breakfasts were very well done and included not only a rich spread of Chinese food, but also a very nice spread of Western food.  In addition, we felt the cost to benefit ratio was exceptional. We would definitely stay in this hotel again in the future. The room was delightful and the whole place was very family friendly!

Unfortunately, except for a staff member (manager) in the hotel lobby who looks like the famous actor Wang Gang and is very friendly and smiling, and a cleaning lady (Wang) who serves with a smile, there are no smiling faces of the staff in the entire hotel. The location is perfect, right next to the railway station with a few restaurants next door for dinner. Take a short stroll across the river and it's the herb wholesale market with plenty of breakfast options around. It's a bit dated but it's good for transit. The spectacled girl at reception in the morning was horrible though. Bad attitude!
