We felt very comfortable. A friendly welcome, a large room, and free parking. The center is just a few minutes' walk away.
Unfortunately, the air conditioning wasn't enough to keep the room warm in the winter.
In the summer, you can enjoy the lovely pool :)
The hotel reception is very detailed, the location is very convenient, and the scenery is beautiful.
The only thing is the power outage in the morning, which causes some inconvenience. Next time I come to New Zealand South Island, I will arrange to stay again.
Very nice hotel. Rooms are clean + bed very confortable + bathroom nice and with a ”big” shower.
Front desk very friendly and helpful (especially Belem is very helpful and knows many languages).
Next time I will be in Blenheim I will go to the same hotel again.
Hope to see you again, Flurin
The next day, I took an early ferry from Picton to Wellington, so I arrived in Picton a day in advance. The hostess of the hotel was warm and friendly, and was willing to help. She didn't need to deposit any orders, passports, or credit cards. It was very simple and straightforward. The hotel is also in a good location, only 1 km from the check-in location at the pier and the road signs are eye-catching (Figures 8 and 9). It is diagonally opposite the supermarket and gas station 50 meters away. It is worth recommending.
Stayed for one night and overall it was quite comfortable. Although it is not in the center of town, it is only ten minutes' walk from the intercity station and train station, and a few minutes' walk is the commercial area. If you don’t have much luggage, you can walk there. The kitchen can be used for cooking and is very clean. In the camping area behind the hotel, you can take a walk after dinner and study various RVs, which is an eye-opener.
Blenheim is too young. I learned that there are no buses on weekends after I arrived. The popular museums and chocolate factories in the area are far away without driving. It took me 70 minutes to get to the museum. Fortunately, an employee of the museum sent me back to the hotel after get off work, otherwise I would have to go all the way back.

Good, comfortable motel. There is a mini kitchen. Two bedrooms, convenient to stay with the family. The room is clean, everything you need to eat. It's nice to swim in the pool.
Good location, quiet, comfortable. Green area, lots of flowers and greens . Comfortable rooms, we even had a paddle under the car in room 9. What can be improved: strengthen control of cleaning , in our room was left trash in the bathroom and on the towel was a stick of ice cream, everything else was great!
Montana Lodge Motel certainly ticks all the boxes. Really warm and welcoming hosts very professional and always available to help should and query need answering.
Very high standards of cleanliness with immaculate presentation of rooms, amenities and supplies.
Although the motel is adjacent to a very busy road we had very good and deep sleeping and I noticed on check out that should anyone need them Ear plugs are freely available.

GGuest UserAn excellent boutique experience. Sennen House has a story to tell, and it’s a beautiful place to discover it. Set in a quiet location, its grounds are fantastic, utilising every piece of space cleverly; the welcoming croquet set was a taste of what was to come.
The room we stayed in was great. Nice views and good spaces. Having a separate living and dining area is always a bonus, but its well appointed kitchen with a coffee machine was an extra one! The little baking treats left each day were lovely touches and were enjoyed. It was lovely to organise and portion out our own breakfast each morning, and having ownership of this was a bonus.
If we are lucky enough to visit Picton again, we would definitely make this venue our first choice.
XXirlesNice welcome by Nicci, found the accommodation to be clean tidy and very welcoming.
Great location short walk down to Picton harbour for the ferries and other holiday ideas like fishing or simply going to beaches on water taxis fantastic location, fish and chip shop next door, nothing more can be said.
Simple breakfast included, a few bars and restaurants lovely ice cream parlour shopping and a nice supermarket. Parking in the library car park next door or opposite the hotel speak to Nikki about the parking location for traffic wardens.
EErma from CanadaPrivately owned, friendly owners. The room was roomy and clean. There is a sitting area out the back patio doors which was good. The outdoor furniture is a bit older. The bed and linens were good for a 2 night stay. We just needed a place to stay while we toured the area. Havelock where the postal boat tour is just a 35 minute drive away. There is a Countdown grocery store right across the street which was convenient. There are no restaurants within walking distance.

GGuest UserFrom Wellington to Cook Strait to Picton, because the ferry was cancelled, it was an irresistible factor, but the hotel was repeatedly contacted through the Trip.com platform on the same day, and no cancellation and refund were made. Because there is no stay, all ratings are selected in general.

VVinceDlGreat location near picton port . We Book a standard cabin . No kitchen or bathroom . Just a cabin with a bed . Just check twice before booking cause its not clear in description and pictures of the room are not good one. By the way common kitchen and shared bathroom was very clean. Staff nice also.
大大王来巡山Since we were not in a rush, we decided to stay in Picton for one night before leaving.
The town is not big but very clean and beautiful. I booked the hotel late, so there were not many options. I chose Beachcomber because the reviews were good.
From the train station, follow the navigation and you will arrive in a short time. The front desk staff is a lady, very friendly. We were supposed to check in after 2 pm, but we were arranged in advance. The door is retro and uses a key, which is quite nostalgic.
The room is very clean and better than I expected. You can see the beach not far away from the balcony. The distance is not far or near, and you will not be noisy by the bar at night. If the weather is good, sit on the small balcony and chat with the neighbors. It is quite convenient to go to the beach, restaurant and boat.
Rreturn visitorReally friendly greeting at office, took me up see our room. Handy location in the city opposite a big supermarket. Full kitchen Not, fridge a bit too enthusiastic froze our milk. Not noisy, great beds and pillows.only down side was tiny shower head and not great water pressure.
