A great location as long as your room is a lake view one, otherwise the street side is extremely noisy with poor window isolation.
The team and service are really nice, and the terrasse moment offers an astonishing view.
One improvement if I may - change the bed pillows - really poor quality and hard to get asleep with.
The room was very clean, and it was quiet at night, which allowed for a good night's sleep. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay. For Switzerland, the price was quite reasonable, and it's conveniently located very close to the train station.
We stayed at Hotel Mona for 3 nights and really enjoyed our time there. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and very well located—just a short walk from the town center and the lake. Our room had a beautiful view of the lake, which made the stay even more special. The staff were warm and welcoming, always ready to help.
Hotel room was the smallest during my entire trip in Europe, toilet was cramped with not much areas to put/hang your shower amenities. The shower area was like a pod which was extremely tight even for asians like me. Could barely raise both arms together without hitting the glass when trying to wash hair. The shower head angle was also terrible as it's pointed at the gap of the shower pod glass (which doesn't close entirely) and kept flowing outside of the pod because it was THAT small.
Booked it for the convenient location but don't expect much from the room size. The shower experience was extremely unpleasant for me and looked nothing like the photos.
If you want to enjoy the view of Lake Geneva, the rural scenery of Switzerland and the beautiful town at the same time. Here would be the perfect choice. The room has a terrace, and you can have a panoramic view of the lake and mountains, and the curling village. The hotel is between the cities of Lausanne and Montreux. Suitable for self-driving tour, the town also has a train station. The room was nice and comfortable for a good night's sleep. The hotel has its own parking lot.
Good environment. Good size room. Bedsheets come with slight black stain. Breakfast is the same every day.
Horrible front desk service. Worst experience ever in my numerous trips to Switzerland and staying in different hotels. Requested reception to help book taxi to train station for early morning train to airport 2 days before departure. Reminded them evening before and was assured it has been done. Come time of pickup and no taxi came. Checked with reception and he said need to wait for taxi company to call back and need at least 20 minutes!! Requested him to expedite and he asked me to book uber myself!!!! Installed uber and got myself a vehicle and just in time for the train. Speechless
Hugging the vineyards, facing the beautiful lake view, sitting on the balcony and watching the train passing by, it is a unique experience; the room is clean and bright, the breakfast is average, but considering the price, I am very satisfied!
Located centrally (just a few steps away from the main train station), Continental Hotel Lausanne is the perfect place for a short stay in Lausanne! The reception staff were very friendly and accommodating. Perhaps it's spring and still quite cold outside so, being a green hotel, the air conditioning is switched off. However, the staff very kindly loaned us a fan which we really appreciated as the room was quite stuffy! The hotel does not provide drinking water but you could get up to 2 bottles free for each room if you ask the counter staff.
The room is not big or small, and the single room is quite comfortable for one person. There are many windows and the scenery outside the small window is also good. When checking in, Miss Sister also sent a glass of wine, which was very ritual. It was very tired when looking for a hotel, because it was a climb, but it was very easy from the hotel to the pier (downhill), and it was also very good to walk all the way to the lake, and enjoy the scenery along the lake to the pier. The uncle who checked out the next morning was also enthusiastic. In addition to the price is a bit high, it is a good choice.
The hotel is very good, clean. The noises in the hallway are very unpleasant. I also think that a little effort in terms of breakfast would be a good idea.

GGuest UserLovely hotel conveniently situated within 5 mins walking distance of Chatea d’oex village and train station. Room was clean and spacious with en suite toilet and shower. Comfortable bed and plenty of hanging and storage space. Continental breakfast had a good selection of cereal, meats, hot drinks, eggs and breads. Staff were friendly and efficient. Would definitely stay again
Xxuetang76It is an 8-minute walk from Lausanne Train Station. It is a very clean and tidy hotel. Booking on Ctrip is very convenient.
The hotel environment is as shown in the picture. Although it is an old building, it is very tasteful. Recommended!
The city tax of European hotels has to be paid separately, which is a bit unsatisfactory.
GGuest UserThis is my fourth visit to the hotel in Nyon, and I have to say it has been perfect on all fronts, I shall definitely continue to book my stay there when I visit Nyon. Ten out of ten!!!!
