Third time staying in this hotel for long layovers in Beijing. Compared to January, I noticed a great improvement in the service. The woman who helped me with the check-in was kind and professional, setting up pick-up and drop-off service from and to the airport. She also promptly switched to English when I got confused while speaking Chinese. The buffet is tasty, with Chinese and Western options. They gave me a twin room because the single I booked wasn't available, but my stay was comfortable nonetheless. I appreciate the late-night snack option, though this time I ordered takeout.

The service provided by the reception desk is excellent, and each staff member is very helpful (for example, helping customers carry luggage to the vehicle and assigned room). The room is very new, quiet and clean. Good ambient lighting and cool air conditioning. Family accommodation and business travel are recommended for overnight pick-up and drop-off at the airport.

I have lived in China for ten years, this is probably the best overall hotel I have ever stayed at. The rooms are newly renovated, bathrooms and water pressure are fantastic, the people are extremely friendly and helpful, and to top it off they offer free access to brand new washer AND dryer. 99% of Beijing is noisy 24/7. This Hotel is actually quiet. Especially for people new to China, this is a great location and neighborhood to get your first taste of living in Beijing.

Truly a 5-Star ⭐ Experience — Highly Recommended! The hotel offers early check-in whenever the room is ready. We arrived at 9 am and were able to check in immediately! I stayed in the family room, which includes one queen-sized bed and one super single bed. As shown in the photos, there was still plenty of space beside the super single, enough for us to comfortably enjoy dinner or supper in the room. Bonus: food deliveries are sent directly to your room by an AI robot *no need to go down to the lobby, woohoo! The bathroom was larger than expected, with separate areas for the shower (shampoo, shower gel, and body lotion are provided) and the toilet. The basin area is spacious, with mouthwash, facial towels, and toiletries (given upon check-in). The toilet is a smart/intelligent model very modern and user-friendly. *Very essential for us Malaysians who need a bidet everywhere haha! I discovered this newly built hotel on Xiaohongshu. I was so impressed by how clean and hygienic everything was no strange smells from the bedsheets, mattress, curtains, or anywhere in the room or hotel. Keep up the great work! Also, our room slippers were changed daily after housekeeping, such a nice touch! As for the location, we used Didi for transportation instead of the metro. While Beijing traffic can range from mild to heavy depending on the area, it was still convenient, most attractions were within 10 to 40 minutes away, depending on traffic. The hotel staff and service were excellent! Everyone we met was polite, helpful, and quick to respond. Laundry service is available daily (between 8am and 12am). One time, we forgot to remove tissues from a pocket, and our clothes came out with tissue bits all over. A staff member kindly informed us and even offered to re-wash them — we really appreciated the thoughtful gesture. In the end, we decided to use the lint roller (we felt so sorry, but the staff never blamed us!), which is also provided by the hotel. It worked perfectly. One lovely surprise: the hotel provides free nightly supper, including congee and pickles! And even better, there are complimentary drinks and popsicles available all the time at the lobby for all guests. So generous! Additionally, you can even order from Taobao in advance. Just inform the front desk before making a purchase, and they’ll assist with the delivery. I'm so glad I found this hotel, I’ll definitely stay here again when I come back to Beijing!

Facilities: The facilities are all very new. ”Xiaodu” welcomes you when you enter the room. You can use Xiaodu voice control inside the room. There are electric curtains and smart toilets. The hotel seems to be opened in 2023. Everything is very new and smart. Hygiene: It is very clean and tidy as soon as you enter the room, but we are still used to using disposable items we bring with us. Environment: The security guard is quite responsible. You need to swipe the room card to use the elevator. The hotel has a good sense of security. It is on the street but not the main road. There is a community next to it, a pharmacy, and a 24-hour convenience store. It is still convenient and quiet at night. There are several restaurants at the intersection. Service: The attitude of the front desk lady is very good. PS: The picture is taken when you check in. You take a photo when you enter the door. After checking in, you will be given a small bag with a toothbrush, toothpaste and comb.

The hotel's buffet breakfast is average, but the wontons are good! The room has a window but it's not ventilated. When you open the window, it doesn't lead directly to the outside, but to the dark and messy equipment room? I don't know if all parent-child rooms are like this... Because it was too late when we arrived, and I didn't like to change rooms, and I couldn't tell the difference between day and night when I lived there There was no door between the bathroom and the bed, which was a bit awkward... There was no place to put the clothes... The service was very good, they greeted everyone they saw, and basically responded to all requests The taxi stop at the door was limited to 1 minute The cold noodles next to the hotel were not bad~

Hotel Review: Qiuguo S Hotel (Beijing Capital Airport Second Branch)** 🏨 Location:📍 Qiuguo S Hotel is located very close to Beijing Capital Airport 🛫, making it extremely convenient for travelers needing a stay before or after their flight. The proximity to the airport ensures quick and hassle-free transfers. Atmosphere:🌿 The rooms are clean , spacious, and simply decorated, with basic amenities provided. Each room is equipped with air conditioning ❄️ and a bathroom with essential toiletries 🚿. Pros:👍 - Excellent location, very close to the airport - Clean rooms with basic amenities - Good value for money considering the proximity to the airport Cons:📝 - Most staff do not speak English 🚫🗣️, so communication can be challenging. Google Translate is often needed, which might slow down the check-in process or information inquiries. Conclusion 🎯 Qiuguo S Hotel is a great option for those needing a stay near Beijing Capital Airport. Its convenient location and reasonable prices make it a practical choice. However, be prepared for potential language barriers and consider using a translation app if you're not fluent in Chinese! 💻🌏

Comfortable and spacious for a solo traveller. Comes with very attentive staff who answered my requests patiently. Also the breakfast was delicious, special thanks to the chef :) Just that it is actually quite far from train stations (15min walk). Bus to go to city is next to hotel but the bus coming back is on the opposite side of main road. Overhead bridge is further down, making it tiring to go back. Overall happy stay.

1. Booked two suites, which was beyond my expectation. It was the courtyard feeling I liked. 2. The reception staff were very nice and friendly. They helped us carry the heavy luggage. Thank you for your hard work. 3. The hotel breakfast was very rich, with two Chinese and two Western dishes. 4. I had a cocktail with my family in the evening. The bartender also mixed new products and signature dishes. It was delicious. This trip to Beijing, watching the moon, listening to music, and drinking in the courtyard with my family at night became a moment of my life. I was very happy.

TThe Bit SpaceHighly recommended to experience the taste of Courtyard 民宅四合院. Very convenient location, right at Qianmen. No need to worry about food and drinks, as you are just seconds away from DaShiLan street. The subway is also nearby as well as major attractions such as Tiananmen Square and the Palace Museum. The staff are friendly and attentive, always greeting you when you enter and exit the lobby, and even offering warm drinks during this cold winter.

GGuest UserWe had an excellent stay at this hotel. The service was top-notch like staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout my stay. The location is very convenient, just a short walk from Sanyuanqiao Station, which makes getting around the city really easy. What truly stood out was how quiet and peaceful the hotel was despite being in a busy area, I was able to rest comfortably every night. One of the unexpected perks was the free laundry service, which was super helpful during my trip. And the best part is the hotel offers a free flow of late-night supper, including delicious siew mai, pau, and dumplings. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a little extra hospitality!

GGuest UserGreat Location and Amazing Rooftop! The location of the hotel was very convenient — perfect for exploring Beijing! While the room was quite small and the only window faced directly onto a wall, we didn’t mind too much as we spent most of our time out discovering the city. The room was very clean and neat, which we appreciated. The highlight was definitely the rooftop — absolutely stunning! We enjoyed the most beautiful sunsets there, a perfect way to end each day. Overall, a good stay for short city trips where you're mostly out and about!

SSuet FoongHotel's location is so good. Easy access to Forbidden City. Super near yo 王府井. There are plenty of eateries and shops within 3 to 5 minutes walking distance. Very near to 金鱼胡同 metro, walk about 2 to 3 minutes only. Another bonus is the most famous restaurant with Peking duck is just next door. Can go take a que number and come back hotel to rest and wait for your turn. The restaurant is forever long que. We waited 1.5 hours (in the hotel room), but the taste is worth the wait. The size of the room is sufficient. There is laundry service on 5th floor. You won't regret to stay here.

MMaverick MakStayed 2 nights at Base Hotel Wangfujing. The hotel is located in the back alleys of ”Hutong” quite close to Wangfujing Strret but to the Wangfujing Walking street is still quite a distance away. The area is not porch by any means, but in a very local-back-alleys-narrow streets and if you are ok,then this hotel may be for you. I booked a Studio Room, pretty spacious with a sleeping area, living, kitchen and bathroom. Though there is a kitchen but there is no utensils or any pots and pans. There is a microwave, kettle and a fridge though. There is a kitchenette at B1 if you need to access to cooking facilities, also coffee and teas are available complimentary. The pricing is very competitive and affordable. A great stay.

SSuriyaTravelled with elderly parents. This hotel is the perfect place as it has a 24 hours internal passage way to Westin Hotel which makes it easy and calm for taxi pick up and drop off. You don't have to rush as there is a proper drive thru at Westin Hotel. The 2 rooms and 2 bath was great for a family of 2 elderly parents and 1 adult. The kitchen has basic amenities such as electric stove, pots and pans, ladle, cups and saucer, coffee pod machines, oven, fridge with freezer, microwave with over feature, water boiler. Call the reception or WeChat them for additional kitchen items such as plates, bowls, fork and spoons, rice cooker, cleaning sponge, dish washing liquid. Be very detailed in what you need especially if they are non-conventional in China such as fork and spoon and the staff will try their best to source them for you. There's a 2 in 1 washing and dryer machine for laundry, request laundry soap from reception. There's also a clothes drying rack if you don't wish to use the dryer. I find its easiest to chat with the staff thru WeChat as there's an auto translate feature that we can use. Everyone was really great, from reception all the way to cleaning staff. Thank you the young man at reception who received us on 30 Dec 2024 at 4am in the morning with still a cheery face and very friendly and kind. Also thank you to cleaning lady Ms Wang Xi Yuan for asking what time is best for her to clean, she even checked the time with us. It's a quiet area because it's a financial district, so I slept very well without noise disturbance even though our room was facing the main road. The temperature was also comfortable and sensitive to our manual changes in the 2 rooms and living room. There was a steam iron machine, dehumidifier and air purifier. The metro was 15-20 minutes walk but that's ok for us as we mostly needed the taxi for my mum who can't walk far. The metro when we did use it goes straight to the Forbidden Palace and Niujie (halal community area). There are not many supermarkets around but plenty of food order options from MeiTuan, we ordered our groceries and halal food from MeiTuan because we were in close delivery distance to Niujie where there are plenty of halal restaurants. Also thank you for the free milk and fruit, healthy snacks that we enjoyed. There was also the option to have paid breakfast buffet at the Westin but I was not sure on the halal status so did not try that. Plenty of towels, bath towel, medium and smaller towels in the bathroom. 1 bathroom had a bathtub. Overall I would definitely come back to this hotel for family and 3-4 person group stay as we have plenty of space at the living room to chat and eat, and a good kitchen to cook together.

MMaverick MakStayed 2 nights at the Commune by the Great Wall, an Unbound Collection by Hyatt. The resort is spread over a big acres of land within the Shuiguan area, also a short proximity to the renowned Badaling Great Wall. You have to reach there by car or by DiDi as there is no public transport to reach the Commune. This is a resort for those who wish to spend quality time, to seek refuge and to relax. The resort was designed by 12 individual renowned architects, each reflecting their own taste and styles, clearly demonstrated in the Communal Home you are staying. Each Communal Home consists of 5-6 rooms where you share common spaces such as Living, Dining, Kitchen and Courtyard with other fellow travellers. You will still have your own room and private bathroom similar to any other hotels or resorts. With the Communal Home, you can access these public area / communal area where often it is under utilised which is great for us. The room is immaculately adorned with the furniture styles of the Communal Home you have selected. There is Cantilever House (Red House), Terrace House, Suitcase House, Bamboo Wall, Forest House etc. My Bamboo Wall room is a little small in my opinion. The bedding is on a Tatami Platform. Bathroom is too big and it takes up too much space for the bedroom. There are limited spaces for the suitcase as we travel from afar. There is also no hook for clothing in the bathroom, no hook for the hand towel which is quite strange given that it is quite luxurious. We bought the package which includes daily breakfast for 2 with Shuiguan Great Wall Ticket and a High Tea. There is an outdoor swimming pool within the hotel and a gym. The pool is only open for 3 months during the summer months, not sure why the restrictions even though it is not a heated pool. During my visit, day time was hot and the air temperature was around 26-28 degrees. Though the water temperature may be way cooler, but if the pool is opened, we will probably take a dip. The breakfast is either a la carte or buffet depending on the hotel's occupancy rate. We had lunch and dinner at the hotel as well and the food is very good though it is on the pricey side. To move around the resort, you will either walk (depending on the location of your accommodation), it can be far away from the restaurant or the reception. You can call them for a car pick up. The driver 小宋 is a great asset to the property, so as our Housekeeper 小李(李鸿建), he was very attentive and observatory. He saw we have many medicine and supplements in the room and he gave us extra water and left us a note. Great initiative! In short, it is a very memorable stay and a very good hideaway.
