An unforgettable trip! Lake Louise is incredibly famous, and the shuttle to Moraine Lake (thank you, Trip.com, for helping with the booking) was great. Of course, this expensive hotel is made by its stunning environment. The tall, handsome, curly-haired young man at the front desk who checked us in was very polite and incredibly nice (apologies for not getting his name). The staff in the lobby were very friendly, proactively asking if we needed help, and we were able to check in early without a hitch. The lake-view room on the second floor (actually the third) was perfect. Although the room was a bit small, you could tell the hotel put thought into its layout and design, as we were able to fit two suitcases (24-inch and 20-inch). All of this made for a pleasant stay. Even though conversations in the hallway could be heard clearly, it was still quiet at night with no excessive noise.
There are many hiking trails around, and a 2-day, 1-night stay allows you to fully explore Lake Louise.
The breakfast service on the second day was excellent, and there were even Chinese-speaking staff who warmly welcomed us.
If I had to mention any shortcomings, due to space constraints, the shower glass partition didn't have a door (I'm not sure if other rooms have partitions), and the hot water pressure was low, so you could only take a quick rinse.

Guest UserThe RCL was a complete surprise to me the junior suite was recently updated and was amazing, so much space with a great fireplace, large comfortable bed, attractive furnishings, coffee, fridge, ironing board, lovely robes and a swimming pool and steam room with little gym plus free apples and flavoured water in reception, would definitely stay again. Plus the only downside was the underground parking which costs $20 per night

After checking in, I opened the door and found that I gave a room that was not cleaned at all. The room was messy. The first time I encountered this situation, the hotel front desk paid for the breakfast coupon, but we didn't eat it. We stayed for one night and checked out.

Staff lovely, breakfast lots of variety. Hotel was clean except our room had very strong odour of air freshener when we arrived - but also smell of sewage? Sulphur? as the air freshener lessened it was stronger. We asked if maintenance could come but they were gone for day - the staff very quickly without issue changed our room with apology. New room was a 2 queen room but we were grateful they could relocate us! New room had no strong odours of any kind.

Guest UserService was fine, they gave us warm cookies upon arrival and check out. The pool and fitness rooms were clean, and the rooms were tidy, though they were a bit dark from lack of lighting.
A couple of things to note: the mattresses were extremely soft (even as someone who prefers soft mattresses), it felt like I was slowly sinking into the floor. The soundproofing is also quite weak, so I would recommend sleeping with earplugs or it may be hard to sleep with guests running around.
One more thing to note was that the balcony door was not locked when we checked in. Since we are on the 7th floor it was safe, however next time I would double check just in case, because there are many people visiting the hotel for functions and events.

KH^____^The oasis park is definitely a highlight for this hotel. My kids love going on the slides and we had a great time there. The hotel is a bit dated but the rooms are well renovated. We have no issue even with the sofa bed

Susan PradjaThe room is spacious for 4 of us, very clean and modern. The lodge is very close to the downtown, we enjoyed walking everyday to explore the city center. The indoor pool is always busy, and our room location is very far from the pool so we didn’t try the pool, but I was happy enough to have a hot tub every night in our room after the activities. The view from our room is also beautiful especially when it snows. The lodge has a spa, a hair salon, an a ski shop. I checked the price of the gloves at their shop is very reasonable. The parking garage is very convenient (although we have to pay for it). The breakfast is good with reasonable price for kids. Some front desk staffs (one Filipino lady and one local) were not friendly but most of the staffs were nice and helpful. Easy check in and check out, they provided pre-check in via whatsapp and always checked us if we need anything.
