The rooms were clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable against the skin, and smart devices made the stay more convenient. The bathroom had a well-designed wet and dry separation, and the toiletries were of high quality. The most pleasant surprise was the hot spring area, with over 30 indoor and outdoor pools scattered throughout. The original hot spring water was crystal clear with perfectly controlled temperature, and there were also special medicinal baths with rose, ginseng, and lavender themes. After soaking, my skin felt smooth and supple, and all fatigue instantly disappeared. The rest area was spacious and comfortable, with various complimentary teas, making for a truly exceptional experience.

I absolutely loved this hotel. The location is superb, with direct elevator access to Mingjiahui Fashion Center, which is hands down the best shopping mall in Jiayuguan in terms of ambiance and experience. It's also a short taxi ride to the Jiayuguan Fort scenic area. The service here was outstanding. A big thank you to the front desk lady who checked us in on the afternoon of April 29th for upgrading our room – I'm just sad I didn't catch her employee number. The breakfast environment was quiet and elegant, and the buffet offered a wide variety of dishes that weren't greasy. They even made fresh wontons and noodles to order, tailored to your taste. Special thanks to restaurant staff member #39 for her thoughtful service; she customized our dishes to perfection. Even though it was a self-service buffet, she proactively brought freshly prepared food right to our table. On our second day, heading to Jiayuguan Fort, staff members #20 and #21 helped us arrange for the hotel's MPV business van. The 6-seater van was incredibly comfortable, and the drive was very smooth – a big thanks to the driver as well. When we checked out, they, along with the supervisor, prepared special Jiayuguan souvenirs and some snacks for our upcoming journey, which was going to be a bit hectic. The room maintenance was impeccable; there were no noticeable issues with our stay experience. After we offered some suggestions for further improvement, the hotel promptly organized a review and provided feedback. My thanks to room attendant #51 for calling to inquire about the details, and also to the supervisor for speaking with us directly and personally looking into our suggestions. Thank you to all the wonderful ladies for their care, which made our first visit to Jiayuguan a joyful memory and made us feel truly at home. Traveling to Zhangye with two kids, I was impressed by the service from the moment we arrived at the hotel entrance. I completely forgot about our luggage in the taxi, but the security guard at the door kindly helped me carry it all the way to our room. The room itself was clean and tidy. Honestly, I couldn't find a single fault with the service here; everyone was so welcoming and enthusiastic. After all, isn't good service and a pleasant environment what you look for in a hotel? In the evening, they even brought us snacks and treats. Because I had children, they also gave us some small toys, which was incredibly thoughtful. They even prepared foot-soaking tubs and cucumber masks for us in the evening – my kids and I were practically fighting over who got to use them! Highly recommended!

Honestly, when you come to Dunhuang, there's no need to rush from one attraction to another every single day! This time, I deliberately chose this guesthouse tucked away in a village, mainly to slow down, relax, and just chill. The overall experience was really therapeutic, but there are a few honest critiques I want to share to help future visitors. First, let's talk about the major positives! The location truly exceeded my expectations. It's not in the bustling city center; instead, it's hidden in a village, completely avoiding the crowds and traffic of the city. It's peaceful and quiet, not noisy at all, setting the perfect mood for a relaxed vacation. It's also not far from Mingsha Mountain and Mogao Grottoes, and taxis are readily available whenever you step out, making it super convenient to get to attractions without having to wake up early or squeeze onto a crowded bus. The value for money for accommodation is also great. For around 300 RMB per person, you can stay in a courtyard room with two large beds, offering excellent privacy. It's really pleasant to sit in your private little courtyard and have afternoon tea. I have to praise the memory foam pillows provided; they're just the right balance of soft and firm, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of traveling – a huge plus point! The guesthouse itself has an Instagram-worthy cafe. The freshly ground coffee is excellent. There are several spots for afternoon tea, including a sandy area, a pool, and an orchard. Sipping coffee and taking photos with the cool breeze from the desert makes every shot look like a professional, atmospheric photo, instantly bringing a sense of relaxation. In the evening, there's also a stargazing platform. Far from city lights, you can look up and see a sky full of stars, instantly melting away all your travel fatigue. You don't have to worry about food either. While there aren't many restaurants within walking distance, the guesthouse can arrange customized local specialty meals. Having a BBQ or hotpot in the courtyard feels so special. If you don't feel like moving, delivery services for takeout are also very fast, perfectly satisfying any lazy traveler. Now, for a few honest minor complaints – consider these if you're particular: Since it's in a village, there aren't many shops along the street nearby, so it's not very convenient to just go out for a casual stroll, snack, or buy groceries. However, anything you need can be ordered for delivery. The temperature difference between morning and evening is significant, and it can get quite windy in the courtyard. Remember to bring a light jacket if you plan to have outdoor afternoon tea. Overall, the pros outweigh the cons. This place is perfect for those who don't like rushing from one attraction to another, prefer peace and quiet, and are looking for atmosphere, healing, and a truly relaxing and laid-back vacation.

This is the second time I have stayed here. The room is very spacious. Although it is an old hotel, I can feel the quality of the decoration and the facilities are complete. The hotel is very large, and the greenery, water system, pavilions and towers are all very beautiful. It is like living in a big park. It is a good choice for travel and leisure. It is very close to Kongtong Mountain Scenic Area, less than ten minutes' drive. We climbed Kongtong Mountain on the first day and brought the elderly with us. It rained on the second day. Just walk around the hotel and go to the swimming pool for free. The elderly had a lot of fun and were not tired. In the afternoon, we enjoyed the scenery, drank tea and chatted on the terrace of the room, and went to the restaurant to eat delicious hand-pulled lamb in the evening. The service staff are very enthusiastic, especially the Xiao Li team in the guest room building No. 5, who made us really feel what it means to feel at home. Thank you very much. This is a fantastic hotel, arguably the most comfortable and cost-effective one of our trip. My family was very satisfied, and the service was exceptional. It's a new hotel, having opened just last year. It's very clean, with luxurious facilities. The owner is very generous, and they provide every little thing you need. Highly recommended! It would be great if they had a dressing mirror, which is essential for taking photos and checking in.

This guesthouse is located right at the foot of Mingsha Mountain. From the balcony, you can overlook the mountain and catch the beautiful sunset. The interior is spacious and tidy, with a lovely blend of Japanese style and Dunhuang characteristics. Both inside and outside, the walls are adorned with exquisite mural-style decorative paintings, creating an overall comfortable and elegant atmosphere. The facilities are comprehensive, with a thoughtful hot water dispenser so you can always have hot drinks, and the humidifier is a lifesaver, a must-have in the Northwest! The owner is incredibly warm and attentive. Before heading out, we'd always ask for his recommendations, which were spot-on. We even hitched a ride to the city with him quite often, haha. And I highly recommend the breakfast臊子面 (sauteed pork noodles) – it's truly delicious!

The service here is excellent, the environment is great, and the views are beautiful. There are also many delicious restaurants nearby. The staff at the front desk, in housekeeping, and at the concierge desk are all very friendly. Xiao Wang from the concierge even proactively brought a fruit platter to my room. I've stayed here many times, and it's now my go-to hotel whenever I visit Lanzhou.
