Guest UserThe rooms are spacious and elegant, and the hotel offers 24-hour butler service. The water temperature is perfect, making for a truly comfortable stay. It's incredibly thoughtful that they provide a business car for pick-up and drop-off at the station. There's also an à la carte breakfast and an infinity pool, making it an excellent spot for a relaxing vacation. The environment is also fantastic.

Anonymous UserThis was my first time in Zhengzhou, specifically to see Zhou Shen's concert. I only stayed one night, but the Jajin Hotel left a deep impression on me. Every staff member was incredibly friendly during check-in, and they even upgraded my room and gave us a complimentary afternoon tea. They promptly provided information about the shuttle bus times and locations, and added us to a WeChat group. They flawlessly organized seven shuttle buses to and from the Olympic Sports Center for hundreds of 'Shengmi' (Zhou Shen's fans) – not a single person was left behind! A big thank you to the entire concert service team: Wang Youxing, Fu Wei, Yin Junpeng, Shang Jianghao, Lü Keying, Liu Jian, Liu Chengyu, and Wang Huibin! And of course, all the staff who assisted me during my stay. My first trip to Henan was absolutely perfect!

Anonymous UserI stayed in Luoyang for a night over the weekend and had to switch rooms five times. Although the front desk staff were very friendly, it was truly exhausting because the facilities were just terrible. I arrived in the afternoon and was told I'd received an upgrade. However, I found that the headboard and door were on the same side, the bathroom was almost as big as the room itself, and neither the sofa nor the bed faced the TV. After sitting for a bit and feeling uncomfortable, I called the front desk to switch rooms. The new key card was delivered by a robot.
The second room was the standard type I had booked, but the window was tiny, and the room was incredibly dim during the peak afternoon sun. It looked nothing like the pictures, which was very frustrating, so I went downstairs to change again.
For the third room, I was upgraded to a lake-view room. As soon as I walked in, there was a strong, industrial smell, like new building materials. I initially thought it wasn't too bad, but after a short while, my nose became completely blocked. I suspect it was due to excessive formaldehyde and benzene, which triggered my rhinitis. So, I went downstairs to the front desk to switch rooms again.
The fourth room was also a lake-view, and it had a damp, plant-like smell, but at least no renovation odor. I asked housekeeping to open the windows and then went out to get some food. When I returned, because the windows were open, I turned on the lights and saw a lot of bugs on the bed. When I looked up, the ceiling light strip was covered in them. Housekeeping came to look but couldn't fix it, so I had to go downstairs to switch rooms again. To be fair, this wasn't entirely the hotel's fault since I had opened the windows and turned on the lights myself, but I never expected so many bugs to fly up to the 18th floor.
For the fifth room, they directly upgraded me to a suite. I guess the front desk staff were probably at their wits' end. Because the suite had sealed windows and fewer people stay in them, it still had a renovation smell. The toilet wasn't smart, and the toilet seat kept sliding around. Sigh, I really didn't want to bother anymore, so I just put up with it for the night and left the next day.
I really don't recommend this hotel; it's honestly the worst Marriott I've ever stayed in. The TV doesn't even support screen mirroring. Last year, I stayed at the Mercure just across the street for less than 200 at the same time of year, and this 600-700 Marriott is not even as good as that. The value for money is extremely low.

I came from Xi'an to visit, mainly to see the Yellow River. The hotel was booked here. Overall, it was good, with a large area, good environment, friendly waiters, and considerate of the guests. I would like to praise Xiao Jing, the waiter on our floor, for being responsive. The fruit sent by the hotel was of good quality and delicious. Before leaving, they also sent Dragon Boat Festival sachets. There were also foot bathing facilities in the room. After walking for a day, it was very comfortable to soak. I tried to have breakfast as early as possible. If I was late, many things were gone, and the supplementary meals were not timely. In addition, there was no juice for breakfast, and the equipment was empty.
It is convenient to get on and off the highway here, there is no traffic jam, and it is very suitable for a stopover during a long journey

I stayed at this hotel on two separate occasions, and both were terrible experiences. The heating system does not shut off—the room turns into an oven, and the entire floor felt overheated. I couldn’t sleep at all and had to wake up several times during the night not knowing what to do.
The thermostat doesn’t work, so there is no way to control the temperature. During my first stay, the room didn’t even have a window; they brought in an external AC and later moved me. On my second stay, the room had a window, but it didn’t help—the room stayed extremely hot.
After two stays with the same issue, this is clearly a persistent problem. I will not be returning.

GuitianbuxiejiaYou really can't go wrong with big international hotel chains; they just nail the emotional experience and pay attention to every detail. The hotel even called me beforehand to check my arrival time and proactively upgraded me to a suite. They also mentioned they'd thoughtfully decorate the room for 520 (May 20th), which shows their incredible attention to detail. The only slight drawback is that the facilities are a bit dated. Also, for breakfast, there were mostly vegetarian options, and I hope they can add more meat dishes. Other than that, everything was absolutely fantastic!

Great homestay with friendly and serviceminded hosts
The Dengfeng Youlu Homestay was a very nice experience and can be highly recommended.
The rooms were very clean and modern. Spacious and with comfortable beds. The bathroom was also modern with nice amenities.
The location is a little outside the city, but closer to the main attractions to Mount Song. So easy to reach with taxi. We found the location very good and convenient since we wanted to go to the scenic areas.
We had breakfast included and found it very tasty and nice. It was plain and fresh and a nice selection of nutritious food before starting the day.
The service was very good. The hosts didn’t speak much English, but we used translator apps so absolutely no problem for foreigners.
The Dengfeng Youlu honestly has a nice compound with a Chinese garden. They also have a pool. It looks very comfy and cosy to sit and enjoy the garden, but we were there in beginning January so it was wintertime. The room we got had nice view of the garden and the mountains.
We can for sure recommend this homestay and we think the reviews written so fare are very correct.

BaoeryingThis hotel really stands out with its unique design among all the guesthouses. The owner and staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, offering detailed suggestions for sightseeing and local delicacies. The room is spacious and clean, with powerful air conditioning and excellent water pressure for showers. The breakfast is simple but delicious. They have underground parking, and the location is fantastic – just about a hundred meters from both the food street and the shuttle bus stop. It's convenient yet quiet, truly one of those rare guesthouses I'd love to stay at again.

Everything was amazing, the hotel was beautiful with an amazing view of the mountains. The staff was incredibly helpful and made our stay even better, especially Wang Jing who could speak English and helped us with translation. They even let us use the hot springs and pool after our checkout. The restaurant served delicious food at a very comfortable price. I stayed in a Mongolian type room and it was a great experience, very clean and confortable. I will definitely come back!
