This stay exceeded my expectations! The hotel is very new, with the lobby on the 1st floor and private rooms on the 2nd. The TV in the room is quite large. The shower has great water pressure, and the hot water is instant – no waiting around. The mattress and pillows were especially comfortable and relaxing; I honestly wish I could take them home with me! Plus, the hotel's gym area is quite unique. I'd definitely recommend staying here. I really loved this hotel; I stayed for three nights because I was so satisfied. It's truly a value-for-money king, and the transportation is convenient with a subway exit right outside. The front desk service was excellent, and they upgraded me to a deluxe king room. Next time I'm in Urumqi, this will be my first choice. The Pomegranate restaurant downstairs is also highly recommended. I really enjoyed this city.
The hotel is indeed close to Tianshan Tianchi, which is a plus. There are also the following problems. The facilities are a bit old and need to be renovated. The hot spring water quality is not good, it is very dirty, and the bath towels are hung everywhere. The hotel breakfast does not match the hotel grade. The only thing that tastes good is boiled ramen.
The most important thing is the service. It can be said that the hotel basically has no service. Maybe it is too busy and the service staff are a little emotional, or maybe it is the only hot spring hotel in the surrounding area, but every customer is innocent, and there will always be competitors. I hope the hotel management will pay attention to this issue.
We stayed at Korla Marriott for seeing the populus tree. Marriott made our trip and stay so convenient and easy. As we entered the front door to the hotel, we really liked the soft ambient music and the fragrance. We want to highly commend the exceptional service of Kyle at the front desk, he helped us with making our stay wonderful!
The breakfast is a must. We ordered the breakfast buffet for both days, and it was delicious - fresh fruit , yoghurts , salads , meats. It’s full of Korla flavours! Theres a great view to the courtyard from the dining hall.
We liked the small touches of detail in our room, a stoneware vase, some paintings and clean bedding and bathroom.
All in all an outstanding hotel, with friendly staff , new facilities and great food.

The lobby has a strong exotic vibe. The rooms are bright and spotless, and the wet/dry separation design is a thoughtful touch. Wuyuan Wanda Mandarin Hotel Urumqi gets a five-star rating from me! The hotel's common areas are also very stylish, and Xiao Sa was incredibly helpful. The room was bright and tidy, with excellent natural light, and the wet/dry separation design was practical. All the facilities were complete and easy to use, making for a clean and comfortable stay. The room was quiet and neat, and the bedding was cozy, ensuring a good night's rest. The location is also superb, with malls, pharmacies, and restaurants all around, making life and travel very convenient. It's also very close to both the airport and the high-speed rail station, which is great for efficient travel. Overall, a perfect experience – I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Urumqi.
Personally, I would like to give 6 stars 🌟
It is one of the best boutique hotels I’ve stayed in across many countries. The highlight of my stay is definitely the exceptional service from every staff member. They are efficient, polite, friendly, and genuinely warm. The hotel’s design is unique, with each room having a different layout and high standard of furnishings. Rooms are spacious, spotless, and most importantly, completely free of any smoke smell, which is rare to find in China. It’s also incredibly quiet at night, giving me a wonderful restful sleep.
The location is great, within walking distance to several tourist spots and only about 20 minutes from the city centre, easily accessible by Didi or taxi. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff for making my Xinjiang journey complete with such a wonderful stay and memorable experience. Please 🙏🏻 keep the standard as excellent as it is now.

Choosing this hotel for our trip to Yining was the best decision! The InterContinental Yining truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the Silk Road-inspired courtyard design, with its exotic grape trellis walkway. The light filtering through the lobby's domed ceiling was absolutely stunning; every photo we took looked like it belonged in a magazine. Our room was spacious and airy, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offering a breathtaking view of the Ili River. Waking up to the morning sun sparkling on the water and admiring the starry sky at night was magical. The King Koil mattress ensured a super comfortable sleep, and the Byredo toiletries added a touch of luxury.
The service was incredibly thoughtful too. The front desk staff proactively recommended local attractions and even treated us to special apricot peel tea and yogurt. Breakfast offered an extensive array of options, including freshly baked 'baozi' (steamed buns), hand-pulled lamb, and other authentic Xinjiang specialties. The fresh juices were refreshing and helped cut through the richness. The underground parking was convenient for those traveling by car, and the 25-meter heated swimming pool was visually stunning. From the design and facilities to the service, everything was impeccable. We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit to Yining, and we highly recommend it to all travelers!

The location is really great here. Cleanliness is top-notch. Rooms are clean and beautiful.
I decided to change hotels because I was disappointed. I cannot find the swimming pool despite the listing shows that it has a swimming pool. And the staff for not particularly helpful to help me find the swimming pool. It shouldn't be that hard to find a swimming pool at a hotel that's what I regularly do when I book hotel. The breakfast provided was free which was okay. But they do not serve coffee and the coffee machine was deliberately turned off they're not and the staff are not willing to turn it on for their guests. I don't understand why

The location of the hotel is excellent, 3 mins walking to the nearest Nanmen Metro Station, just one stop from the Erdaoqiao Station leading to the Xinjiang International Grand Bazaar. The room is spacious, carpeted and the bed is comfortable. We were greeted with fruit platter and Chinese tea with beautiful tea set when we checked into our room. We had a good view of the city and the surrounding snow-capped mountains can be seen from the window. However, the television set can be better positioned for ease of watching from the bed. The front desk served by Guzalnut and Paziliya, were very helpful and warm. Thank you for the great service.

Newly opened, and with many promotional coupons available this year, it was quite cost-effective. New hotels have been opening frequently in Xinjiang recently, with InterContinental brands being the most active.
The Yiheng in Yining is quite interesting, with a sports theme. Each room has a yoga mat, yoga blocks, and a yoga ball, and there's even a bike charging station in the lobby lounge. It's right next to the InterContinental, with shared public areas.
Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. Breakfast was at the InterContinental Riverside Restaurant, featuring naan (a type of steamed bun) and freshly baked buns. The pilaf and stewed pork are also highly recommended! Other dishes were plentiful, meeting InterContinental standards, and catering to diverse tastes according to group standards, such as the kimchi soup…
The front desk service was very warm and attentive, a very good level of service in Xinjiang. The hotel's surrounding environment is also very nice, with a beautiful courtyard. The gym and laundry room are self-service; I finally got to wash my dirty clothes after a trip around Altay.
I highly recommend the Yiheng – newer hotels are better than older ones. Also, the aromatherapy in the lobby and rooms smelled wonderful.

GGuest UserThe hotel staff really took care of us. Reception Manager Jason was very warm and friendly and responsive to our needs. He went out of his way to make us feel welcomed and answered all our questions about the city. Receptionists Vicky and Michael also helped us during our stay! They went above and beyond to serve our needs by getting us extra water bottles, searching for amenities around the area for us etc. Special mention to all the restaurant staff too! We were sad to leave Radisson Blu Kashi because we felt so comfortable there. Thank you for taking care of us!
MmiooA True Hidden Gem – The Best Stay of My Xinjiang Trip!
Out of my entire journey across Xinjiang, this homestay was by far the most memorable and heartwarming experience. The moment I stepped into the beautifully decorated home, with its stunning blue hues, traditional Uyghur details, and peaceful courtyard covered by a canopy of vines, I instantly felt at ease. It truly felt like home.
What made it even more special was the incredible hospitality. The owner was exceptionally friendly, always ready with a warm smile and willing to help with anything I needed—whether it was sharing local tips, helping with transportation, or simply chatting over tea. Their kindness made me feel not just like a guest, but like part of the family.
The attention to detail in every corner, the peaceful swing in the courtyard, and the cozy atmosphere created the perfect setting to relax after a day of exploring. I can’t recommend this place enough—if you’re traveling through Xinjiang and want to experience genuine warmth and culture, this is the place to be.

Very Good
GGuest UserOur family of four stayed at the hotel for a week. First and foremost, a big thank you to Martin at the front desk for his help coordinating everything late at night, ensuring we smoothly checked into our connecting rooms the next day. Zhu Fang, who handled housekeeping, was very diligent and patiently waited for us to wake up each morning. Dai Long from the concierge team was incredibly helpful; despite the cold weather, he always assisted us with parking arrangements right at the hotel entrance. Every time we saw them, it felt like coming home.
The hotel's location is super convenient, with all sorts of delicious food right outside. Popular spots like Jiang Mai'er, the 24-hour Uncle Loulan, roasted naan and buns, Wu Jia Mixed Rice Noodles, Mr. Savage Ice Cream, Heytea, and Ba Wang Cha Ji are all within walking distance.
The hotel's swimming pool is quite professional, with a water temperature of 27-28 degrees Celsius, making it more suitable for swimming and fitness rather than kids playing in the water. The bar on the 37th floor is great for photos!
NNingning mumThe room is big enough, the living room has plenty of room for an extra bed, and the view from the upper floors is good. The elevators are well arranged, and there is no long waiting time on the upper floors. The overall service is good, and robots deliver takeaways when ordered. The Chinese restaurant is OK, especially the green leafy vegetables are better than those fried in other restaurants. When checking out, I asked for a half-hour extension, which was readily agreed.

GGuest UserAfter dinner, I took a taxi back and accidentally saw some people in uniforms welcoming me at the door. I looked carefully and found that it was the designated reception point. The whole building feels like a comprehensive mall, and accommodation is only part of it. There is a sales point for Nanda Dairy on the first floor, which is open from 8 am to 10 pm, which is very convenient for guests. There is a huge wall of luggage lockers on the first floor, which is shocking. Unfortunately, I felt that they were not staffed enough at the front desk several times, and the waiting time was relatively long, but it was not easy to maintain a good service attitude. To be fair, the hotel hardware and supplies are really good. The decoration is a more old-fashioned hotel, with wooden cabinets, a little smell, and the facilities may not be particularly new, but the overall feeling is OK. The shampoo and shower gel are not a very expensive brand, but they are comfortable to use. The shower gel seems to be from pmpm, and the hair dryer is also a new basic model. The slippers are particularly thick and of good quality, surpassing many high-priced hotels. I will consider staying here next time I come to Kashgar. I stayed in an expensive hotel next to the ancient city for one night and felt that I didn’t win many points except for the geographical location.

GGuest UserSimply great place! Excellent value for money, the place is full of beautiful vineyards of grapes, the place looks like in a fairy tale. There is a shuttle that comes quickly and efficiently. The room in the shape of a wine barrel is great and clean, the staff is very nice and efficient, they helped us quite a bit. The breakfast is great and varied and there are also vegetarian options. There is a possibility of free laundry, and the reception is really available 24/7. The winery tour was beautiful and the long canal is very impressive. The shuttle from the train to the hotel and from the hotel to the train worked great. To improve - the pool was dirty throughout our stay, other than that it is just an amazing place! We will be back again in the future
