The hotel is conveniently located near the train station and Dijon Tourist Information Center, and attractions such as the cathedral are within walking distance. Restaurants and shops are readily available to meet various needs. Situated in a historic building, next to a post office and opposite a Hermès store, with a world clock in the square, the hotel is easy to find. The Alof Classic Room, though small, doesn't feel cramped, is clean, and quiet. Breakfast offers a wide variety of hot and cold dishes, ensuring you're well-fed. Outside of breakfast hours, the restaurant functions like a living room, providing a place to relax and chat, offer coffee and tea, and has numerous charging stations for guests' convenience.

Excellent hotel located in walking distance to city centre, with all amenities. Cosy beds, good bathroom.
Was difficult to check in, service couldn't find my Trip.com booking, but was finally accepted.

The hotel is small but well-equipped. It is also very exquisite. The service staff is very polite and enthusiastic. I was impressed. What surprised me was that they remembered my Chinese name. If I come here next time, I will choose them again. It is great.

The room is very spacious, the hotel environment is beautiful, the green of the South French countryside is outside the window. The service is also very good, the only downside is that the room facilities are a bit old, but in Europe, what else can this price look forward to. It is already a good hotel and it is very close to the old city. Convenient location, the hotel has its own parking lot, self-driving parking is very convenient. Still recommend a stay.

The hotel is more than 1 km away from the highway entrance and exit. I stayed there in 2018. This time, the hotel was renovated in 2019, and the lobby is much more gorgeous! The hotel has a large free parking lot, which is recommended for people who drive to Beaune!

Zeer goed hotel voor een tussenstop.
Goed restaurant en een uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet.
Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.
Kamer was niet al te groot, maar wel voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt. Mooie grote TV met stream mogelijkheid.
Ongeveer 10 minuten van Macon centrum, ook leuk om even een kijkje te nemen.

GGuest UserI have stayed at the Chateau before and it is good value as well as being an interesting building with many artistic features, there is also an outside pool. Generally, it’s clean but the rooms are a little dusty. The staff are helpful but on my previous stay the restaurant was shut due to staff problems. It was a disappointment but gave it a second chance. However, having booking again, I was told on arrival that the restaurant was not open on Mondays or Tuesdays. Please don’t be fooled by websites as every one I found stated that it was open on these days, so it’s a must to take this into account if you’ve had a long drive and do not want to dine out, you may well want to think again. It does seem to be under staffed as it can be difficult to find anyone if you would like an evening drink.
You would either have to drive fifteen or so minutes into Macon where there are plenty of restaurants or if you prefer a village, drive in the other direction for less than ten minutes and there is a small restaurant next to the station called ‘Aux Dix Vins’ which I recommend and it’s open on Mondays and Tuesdays. The menu and quality is good, with some nice wines to accompany the food and the owner cares about how it’s run.

I arrived late, after 10:00 PM, and the kitchen and restaurant were already closed, but the friendly staff did suggest that pizzas might still be available.
Then the room itself was absolutely fantastic. I heard absolutely no noise from the hallway or other rooms/floors; it was truly super soundproof.
Fantastic bed and excellent pillows, beautiful bathroom. This hotel is truly wonderful.
Free parking, even a large van can be parked there.

GGuest UserGood location if you need to be near the Dijon SNCF train station, an easy 5 min walk even with luggage. Another 5-10 mins walk to the key attractions & shopping in Dijon old town.
Some delay in checking in but Romain at the front desk was extremely helpful.

Le petit déjeuner, varié et copieux malheureusement beaucoup trop de monde, très difficile de trouver de la place devoir débarrasser la table de la précédente. Personne Soi-même Mais dans l’ensemble nous avons passé un agréable séjour

GGuest UserIt was a nice stay in a well designed space. We both felt the service could’ve been improved and the room keeping service. We ran out of basic amenities in the room and they were not replaced when the cleaners came. Just something for the location to improve upon.
