Hotels With Pool in Central Java, Indonesia

This is the first time my family and I have been so satisfied staying in a 2-bedroom residence unit. We could all stay together with our two parents and the two of us. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. The sofa bed was also comfortable and spacious for sleeping. It could easily accommodate 5 people, or even 7, because the king-size bed was incredibly huge, more than 2 meters wide. We were very impressed and satisfied with all the facilities. There were two dressing tables. There's a bathroom in each room, and even an additional toilet in the living room, although it's not for showering. So, a total of 3 toilets. The room temperature was just right; it could be adjusted and turned off. There was only one hanger in each room, so we had to request more, and it took a long time – we had to call three times before they arrived. Initially, we didn't realize the shower drain had a rubber stopper, so it ended up flooding everywhere, and it took a while to get a new mat. But overall, it was a very nice experience staying at LK Pemuda. Please improve the quality of your service and facilities!

Abrikri Village has provided excellent services during our stay in Dieng, Wonosobo. Starting from the pre-departure service when the staff member contacted me personally to assist our reservation for 16 people— especially when I asked their assistance to arrange our breakfast mode to be made at 2AM due to our specific agenda. When we have arrived at the Abriki Village, they were very responsive in accommodating our reservation by making the check-in process hazzle-free. The staff members were also really acommodating our needs, showcasing a true-identity of Javanese welcoming services. The Villa is actually even BETTER than the pictures. The rooms are very clean and spacious, especially the Three-Bedroom Villa and the Two-Bedroom Villa. The in-room and out-room facilities work properly without any issues. Our family also had no issues on the wifi provided as it can be accessed in all the area of the Villa. As for the breakfast, even though the breakfast menu are quite standard as it serves the basic Indonesian buffet style, yet our family really enjoyed the food and beverages provided. The location for the Villa is also convenient as it’s located 5 minutes from Alun-alun of Wonosobo City and 40-50 minutes to reach Puncak Sikunir Dieng. For me personally, this villa deserves a 5-star due to its excellent services, facilities, and locations. However, there are still rooms of improvement, such as additional services like Netflix for each room, more varieties of breakfast option, and the balcony/terrace of 3-bedroom and 2-bedroom villa’s entrance that should have a roof that would cover us from the rain when entering the villa. Nevertheless, if I had chance to go back to Dieng, Wonosobo, I would CERTAINLY BE DELIGHTED to stay again at the Abriki Village again. That’s for sure. They are spotless, thoughtfully designed, and maintained to a standard that would not feel out of place in a well-rated international 4-star property. What truly elevates the experience, however, is the management and ownership behind it all. There is a noticeable precision in how everything operates—from the smooth check-in process to the overall atmosphere of calm efficiency. It’s clear that someone is paying close attention to the finer points that many hotels overlook. The staff deserve special recognition. They are consistently polite, professional, and impressively efficient without ever feeling rushed or impersonal. Service here strikes that rare balance between warmth and competence. Breakfast is another highlight—genuinely exceptional. The quality, variety, and presentation go beyond what you would typically expect at this level, turning what is often a routine meal into something to look forward to each morning. Location-wise, it’s hard to fault. Perfectly positioned for exploring Solo, everything feels conveniently within reach. All things considered, the 3-star rating is genuinely surprising. By international standards, this hotel comfortably performs at a 4-star level, if not beyond in certain aspects. FIM by Zigna is a standout example of what happens when strong management, attention to detail, and genuine care for the guest experience come together.

On my frequent business trips to Semarang, I always stay at the PO Hotel, which is conveniently located next to Paragon Mall. It's a 5-star hotel in the city center, offering a nice staycation experience. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and for dinner, I just walk to PG Mall through the connected doorway. The breakfast menu is also comprehensive and delicious. My suggestion for PO Hotel would be to upgrade the TVs to smart TVs and add more local channels, specifically Anteve and Indosiar, if possible.

In terms of atmosphere, this hotel actually met our expectations quite well, especially as we prefer a place that is not too crowded, with a natural tropical landscape and an ethnic-rustic architectural style. The room size was also quite spacious, noticeably larger than a typical hotel room. Another plus point was the Smart TV, which made the children happy as they could watch Netflix comfortably. However, we were rather disappointed with the condition of the room, particularly the bathroom. There was a strong unpleasant odor, similar to a septic tank smell, coming from the toilet/WC area, which was quite disturbing and affected our comfort during the stay. The bathroom also seemed poorly maintained, as seen from the cracked/chipped toilet water tank. In addition, the bathroom ceiling looked untidy and appeared to be sagging on one side. Another issue that bothered us was the presence of many large black ants inside the room, especially around food. The swimming pool was also not very comfortable, as the chlorine level seemed too high, causing irritation to the eyes and nose when exposed to the water. As for the restaurant, the food variety was rather limited. What surprised us even more was that omelets or eggs were limited to one portion per guest. Overall, we believe this hotel has good potential in terms of atmosphere, concept, and room size. However, for a 3-star boutique hotel with a rate of around IDR 900,000 per night, the condition of the facilities and the overall stay experience did not feel proportionate. In our opinion, the hotel is somewhat overpriced.

Excellent Location: The hotel is situated in a prime location in downtown Semarang, offering incredibly convenient transportation access to the Old Town (Kota Lama), popular attractions, and shopping malls. It's a top choice for both business travelers and tourists. High Standard of Service and Dining: The staff were exceptionally warm and professional right from check-in. I especially want to praise their breakfast – the variety was impressive, with a wide selection of local Indonesian flavors and Western dishes, all prepared with great care. Well-Equipped Facilities, Though Showing Some Age: The room was spacious, and the bedding was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. While it's clear the hotel has been around for a while and the decor is more classic and traditional, the overall cleanliness was spotless, and maintenance was excellent. The hotel's pool and gym were also very clean, perfect for relaxing after a busy day.

I was delighted by the wide variety of items at the breakfast buffet, and especially enjoyed the local specialties. The staff were also very kind and helpful, offering great recommendations for nearby attractions, which I really appreciated. Thanks to them, I had a wonderful trip. I would definitely love to stay here again if I travel to the area in the future.

On the recommendation of close friends, we chose to try Padma Hotel Semarang for our stay in Semarang, and we absolutely did not regret it. We truly enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was extensive and delicious, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the gym was beautiful, and the coffee and pastries at Goolali were also of excellent quality. Combined with the beautiful entrance and the warm atmosphere of the hotel, it created a very pleasant overall experience. What stood out the most to us, however, was the outstanding service from the staff. We would especially like to thank Mr. Syahrul for his professionalism and friendly service during breakfast. One small point for improvement would be the speed of the Wi-Fi, especially when using YouTube on the television. We certainly hope to return next year, hopefully for a longer stay.
