Pleasant and Comfortable Stay I was very satisfied with my stay at Novotel Banjarmasin Airport. This hotel is an excellent choice, whether for business or family holidays. Some of the things I liked most: - Strategic Location: It's very close to Syamsudin Noor International Airport, which made getting around incredibly convenient. - Excellent Service: The hotel staff were very friendly, professional, and always ready to help from check-in to check-out. Their hospitality made the hotel feel warm and welcoming. - Complete Facilities: The room provided was clean, tidy, and comfortable. Supporting facilities like the spacious and aesthetic swimming pool are perfect for relaxing with family, especially for children. - Delicious Breakfast: The breakfast menu offered a wide variety of choices and tasted absolutely delicious. The restaurant also serves local and international dishes that are a treat for the taste buds. - Tranquil Atmosphere: The hotel offers a calm atmosphere, perfect for anyone looking to get maximum rest after a journey or busy schedule. Stayed at Favehotel Banjarbaru for a quick two-night business trip. The garden setting was lovely, and the pool area offered a peaceful atmosphere. Rooms are simple but comfortable—air‑conditioned, clean linens, coffee/tea station, and daily housekeeping. The airport shuttle and free parking were convenient extras. On the downside, service felt inconsistent when checking in—staff seemed overwhelmed—and breakfast service could be slow. While the overall value is good, cleanliness in some rooms and overall responsiveness of staff felt below expectations at times. Perfect for a budget‑friendly stay near the airport or shopping—it’s just fine for a short stay, but service and upkeep could use a boost for a more seamless experience.

Overall, my stay at Swiss-Belhotel Banjarmasin was pleasant. The location is right in the city center, which makes it very convenient. One of the best highlights is the complimentary boat trip to the Lok Baintan Floating Market—a great experience. The room is spacious and comfortable. However, the carpet looked a bit dirty, and the amenities were not very complete (for example, no comb was provided). On the positive side, the breakfast was excellent and offered a good variety.

The hotel service is quite good and complete, only there is a lack of parking because if there is an event then the parking is full, not enough staff to arrange parking

The room is very clean and the breakfast spread is excellent. Would be good if the room provides a hairdryer.

I stayed for 4 nights, and the breakfast changed slightly every day, which was a nice touch. I also got to try the famous Soto Banjar. The room was clean, and they provided fresh water bottles daily. The only downside was that the pillows were too high, and there were no lower options available.
