Guest UserWonderful hotel, spacious, clean, airy room, with a balcony facing the street, very attractive, super comfortable beds, super cold air conditioning, strong and warm shower, bedspreads available, TOP pool, large and beautiful on the terrace with a super cool view, and super plentiful and delicious breakfast, I highly recommend the hotel and will definitely return.

Guest UserGreat hotel with a luxurious view of the most famous beach.
Yes, there are some minor issues, like sometimes having to wait 7 minutes for an elevator, but I don't consider that a problem. It's a 30-story hotel with 6 elevators and many rooms, so you can imagine.
The breakfasts are a bit repetitive and could be improved, but they do have fresh orange juice, which is a nice touch.
There aren't always enough hotel umbrellas and chairs on the beach, but I don't see that as critical either.
The bed was good, and I slept excellently!
My birthday fell during my stay, and the hotel gave me a lovely surprise! Thank you! I'll definitely be back.

Guest UserFantastic luxury hotel, with brilliant pool area. Walk across the street and your on the beach which is soo quiet compared to others in Rio. Rooms are very spacious, the bed and pillows were fantastic, and the view of the beach is worth the extra. Very good breakfast with good choices. The hotel is also very secure with all entry points from the outside covered by security. Only downside is the bar and waiting service at the pool area.

Guest UserVery friendly staff, nice hotel. I booked a suite for one night, the room was clean although it could use some refurbishing. One window didn't lock, so the noise from the street was constant. Located in a street with some stores, but not an area where you feel safe walking around. No toiletries included apart from s soap and shower gel/shampoo. Coffee machine in the bedroom with 2 coffee pods. I couldn't see a menu anywhere, assumed these were complimentary, as in most hotels where you rent a suite. I was surprised to be charged 1.5 USD per capsule on checkout, and that there was a QR code informing me of this in the room. I couldn't find it anywhere though.
All in all, great staff, but there is definitely a much better price to service/location ratio than this hotel in Rio

The location is excellent, surrounded by hotels and restaurants. Across the street is the endless ocean and a beach bustling with people playing ball and running early every morning. It's very convenient to all the attractions! Of course, a sea view room would be much more comfortable. The sunrises are beautiful every day. Although you can't see east, they're still beautiful. The interior view rooms have a small balcony, but it can feel a bit cramped. Beach slippers are provided and can be taken away and reused.

Traveling is OK, anyway, the price is relatively close to the people, the place is not very remote, eating is opposite, living in the store, there are not many tricks early, barely accept

Guest UserThis property has the potential to be amazing, but it needs a few key updates. The location is fabulous, the staff is excellent, and the restaurant is great both in terms of service and food quality.
The room was spacious, and the balcony was unbeatable. If you only speak English, you can get by staying here because all of the staff speak excellent English. We encountered a problem when the showerhead broke off, but the repairman came reasonably quickly to replace it, and he was very polite and not disruptive. We ordered room service, and Dom Rio, the hotel’s restaurant, delivered it quickly. I had the filet which was cooked properly to the correct temperature (medium rare). My fiancé had the alfredo pasta which she liked a lot. The breakfast had a huge selection, and everything tasted good.
The only thing keeping this hotel from earning top marks is the general state of much of the decor in the rooms. The curtains look shabby and dirty from moisture, and the wood of the cabinets is warped also. It is very hard to maintain a room that is constantly exposed to salt water and ocean breeze, but the materials chosen have not stood up to age.
I would recommend staying here if you are interested in staying in Barra at a nice but reasonably priced hotel, but don’t expect the finest luxury. Expect a very large, fairly clean room with a comfortable bed and an amazing view.

The hotel has a nice sea view room, but the service needs to be improved. The service should be better at this price. The waiter did not replenish water in time. The cleaning time was late, and the towels on the beach chairs of the hotel opposite the hotel were dirty.

I liked everything, it was clean and cozy, only the breakfasts were monotonous. Everyone at the reception was great, thank you!

Very good breakfast (best waiter: Thiago - what a great person)
Superb Location
However, I am still upset with the reception team. On one night, there was a big party outside and it was impossible to sleep during the night. Having complained about the loud noise, the reception staffer told me that he would call the police. Nothing changed and on the next day, the hotel did not communicate at all with us about this incident. When I proactively asked for a discount on our dues, the reception staff wrote me lengthy messages that it was not in their control. For me, if you really care about your guests, you ask your neighbors to lower their music volume. They wrote me long messages how they really care about their guests, but if they do not follow through with these statements, better not make them in the first place.
The hotel has seen better days and not only did a stair case step break during our way just in front of our room (not repaired until our departure), but my girlfriend also stepped into a broken mosaic in the cold outside pool with her foot.
