The hotel's location is super convenient, right at Hakata Station. You can directly access JR and Shinkansen lines from B1. Popular spots like Musashi Wagyu Rice are right across the street from the 1st-floor exit, and the famous sheep cheese toast is just a 6-minute walk away. The hotel's cleanliness is also excellent, and the rooms are quite spacious for Japan. It's definitely a top choice for family trips!

The room was quite spacious for Japan, and you can self check-in and check-out. The hotel is conveniently connected to Kokura Station via a sky bridge on the second floor, making travel incredibly easy. There are also many shopping malls and dining options nearby.

Staff were very pleasant and courteous, always eager to help. Amenities well maintained and clean. Car parking facility in hotel basement was convenient and inexpensive, at JPY2000 per day. Room was clean, smell free and well appointed. Air temperature of air conditioning was precise and reliable, giving a good night’s sleep.

This was my first time staying here. I think all the necessary amenities for a stay are provided. The highlight seems to be that planes fly directly overhead. They are quite close. However, there are no flights after 10 PM, so it's not a problem. On the other hand, it faces a busy main road with a lot of traffic, and there is noise, especially from speeding vehicles and police sirens. The building looks old, so the soundproofing may be insufficient. The nearest convenience store is a bit of a distance away, as you have to cross the main road. However, there is a Don Quijote nearby, so you can do some light shopping. The spa has a small bathtub. The sauna might be full with just three people in it. Swimsuits are required, but you can rent them for 500 yen. There are changing rooms, but no toilets or water dispensers. There is a limousine parked at the main entrance, and it seems that it can be used for pick-up and drop-off, but I didn't confirm this. It's supposed to be a resort, but it feels like only this area has a resort feel. There are some shared cooking facilities, so it might be suitable for groups.

This is an older hotel chain, and I chose it this time because the first hotel I stayed at in Japan over a decade ago was a Nikko. I haven't picked it in a long time, so I wanted to try it again, purely for nostalgic reasons. The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation, and the service remains good. However, during this stay, they were undergoing exterior renovations, which meant I couldn't open the curtains, making the room feel a bit claustrophobic. The hotel didn't mention this special circumstance on the booking platform, nor did they inform me during check-in. They also didn't offer to move me to a room not affected by the renovations or provide any other form of compensation. The complete lack of communication and options is truly unacceptable. Location is good but not easy to excess. In front a bus stop but the bus operates once an hour. So need to plan wisely to avoid long waiting. Nearby convenience store (7-11) need to walk 20mins, or by bus within 5 min but need to wait for an hour. Services is good. Staff can communicate in English well

This trip to Fukuoka, staying at the Grand Hyatt was a big plus for its location. It's just a 1-minute walk from the Kushida Shrine Station subway, and close to Gion Station and Hakata Station. Taking the subway to Fukuoka Airport, Tenjin, Dazaifu, and Itoshima is super convenient. Canal City and Kushida Shrine are also within walking distance. The hotel has a trendy, minimalist urban style. The public areas are well-designed, and it even has its own large public bath and sauna – perfect for unwinding after a long day of walking. The rooms are clean and tidy, with thoughtful storage solutions, comfortable bedding, and all the essential amenities. ✅ Practical Experience: ▪️ Check-out is at 12:00. You can store your luggage for free after check-out, which is great for hassle-free shopping. The 24-hour front desk service is very friendly. ▪️ There are many convenience stores and restaurants nearby, making it easy to grab food or essentials. ▪️ Direct subway access to the airport means no stress when catching your flight. A small note: Japanese hotel rooms aren't huge, but this is typical for city hotels in Japan. Overall, it's a great choice for those visiting Fukuoka for sightseeing and shopping. Its excellent transportation links make getting around incredibly efficient.

It's a resort-style hotel. It feels very comfortable. The room is large enough, the view is open, and it has a balcony. The balcony is also equipped with a sofa and mosquito killer lamp. The bathroom has a massage pool big enough for two people.

This hotel offers great value for money, with plenty of amenities and comfortable rooms. It's close to the bustling downtown area and also near the coast, offering beautiful views. There's even a pool inside, making it a wonderful hotel where you can truly enjoy your stay.

The family suite at this hotel really surprised me – it actually had four large beds! It's definitely big enough for a whole family, though it's a shame there's only one bathroom. On the bright side, the toiletries and towels were all provided for four people, which was plenty. The hotel is a bit far from the city center, so there aren't many good restaurants or shops nearby. However, it's right by the sea with beautiful views, and you can even see sea eagles soaring in the sky. The room itself is spacious, with two desks, and the internet speed was decent, more than enough for our needs.
