Facilities: Not a newly opened hotel, but there is still a high standard of Shangri-La, especially want to go to the SPA, but unfortunately there is no time at all, you must go to experience it next time.
Hygiene: house keeping is very good, there is no dead end in health
Environment: The hotel has a large range, golf course, various activities facilities, and the swimming pool is big enough
Service: The best must be service, whether it is the front desk, restaurant, breakfast, room, lounge, caddie, where the waiters are particularly friendly and kind, have dinner at SERA for three consecutive nights, the last night, the little brother also prepared a special layout for us, very touched. The child was even more reluctant to give up on him, and agreed to go to him next time.
Shangri-La makes us feel that Sri Lanka is full of vitality and warmth, people are friendly and simple, animals are free and pure land
A beautiful place. The hotel is located right on the shore of the ocean, all rooms with balconies and ocean view. Staff is very hospitality, helped carry bags, cleaned the room at request and always smiled. I would like to note the hotel manager, Darya. met in the hotel at the settlement, told about the hotel, about the surroundings where and what you can see, always was in contact.
Hotel restaurant, just wonderful. All the dishes (mostly Italian) were very delicious. On the last day, at our request, the cook cooked a set of Sri Lanka national dishes, it was great.
All additionally served the bread basket, butter.
The pool is clean, warm.
Rooms with good repair and normal furniture. Air conditioning worked quietly. The plumbing is in good condition.
Oh... I absolutely fell in love with this hotel!!! I'm not attaching photos because they're real in the hotel profile. This is it! We stayed in a 4-bedroom suite on the 3rd floor, and it truly is the best hotel in Sri Lanka. It's very atmospheric and well-thought-out; every detail is a delight. Service: we were checked in early and quickly, the room was cleaned twice a day!!!!! The pool is clean, the food in the restaurant is delicious, but pricey.
Yes, the ocean here is rough, but if you're driving or riding a bike, it's 10 or 20 minutes in either direction and you can reach Unawatuna, Weligma, or Mirissa (a tuk-tuk will also take you).
Restaurants are also within walking distance.
This is my second time in Sri Lanka and I have something to compare it to, so I highly recommend it. The hotel is worth the money; it's not your average chain hotel or a run-down local. We'll definitely be back here.
Oh, and the third floor has a fantastic patio with sun loungers, it's absolutely huge. This bonus is absolutely amazing.
During our 7-day trip to Sri Lanka, this was the most satisfying hotel we stayed at so far. Everything—from the facilities and service to the food—exceeded my expectations. The owner's dedication was truly touching, so even though I rarely leave reviews, I had to write one this time.
Most five-star hotels in Sri Lanka are quite old, but this one was new and modern. The owner is a beautiful woman from Guizhou who has traveled the world. She was worried about being ripped off by fellow Chinese travelers overseas, so she booked one night with a ”let's give it a try” attitude, but after staying there, she didn't want to leave!
It's a very exquisite villa, furnished to the standards of a high-end Chinese hotel. The beautiful swimming pool in the courtyard is a highlight. There are many staff members, including local Sri Lankan waiters and a butler. There's even a gardener tending to the plants in the morning. The rooms are very clean and tidy, with a stylish decor and high-quality bedding. The attention to detail is impressive; even the hairdryer is a Leifen brand, and they even provided a toothbrush and razor (Sri Lankan hotels don't usually provide these). The staff are warm and attentive, with the typical Sri Lankan smile. I even had lunch at the hotel, which was delicious! The owner and staff were incredibly accommodating, making it feel like home away from home after a long journey. I highly recommend this place when visiting Galle.
Loved the location, which is within short walking distance to the Galle lighthouse. But what I loved the most was the modern interiors of this Art Deco building . Our room was well designed and clean, complete with a bathtub and lovely marble finishing. I personally felt that the bed was one of the most comfortable I experienced during my week in Sri Lanka. I also enjoyed the sunset views from the rooftop bar and the pool, even though a little small was great for cooling down after exploring the old town on foot. My only comment would be that the shower amenities weren't in a good place, could easily slip during shower time.
Breakfast had an option of either local fare (to be prebooked) and western fare which was tasty. Definitely one of the highlights of our stay in Sri Lanka.
We spent a night in this hotel and overall it was all right.
However, we have a few things to defect:
2 of 3 beds in the room, had clearly visible points. The shower was very calcified.
Otherwise the room was all right, the equipment is visible for a few years, but can keep with modern standards.
The pool is large and clean, but there is only one bed.
Due to the low cost of the hotel during our stay, we felt that the service was overambitious, which partly disturbed.
In summary, this hotel is a good opportunity for a few nights. It has a good location and is additionally indoored.
Stayed for one night, the hotel has a restaurant to dine, Figure 3 is the menu, the price is ➗ 40 is the RMB price, the swimming pool can swim, the hotel provides a bottle of 1L drinking water for free.
Fantastic hotel with a beautiful location, and generally completely new and renovated. Great pluss for most, only minus is that the food was medium and often took too long. There is no alcohol in the hotel - so it was not possible to get a cocktail or beer (large minus).
Very friendly host and his staff. The location is good. A really beautiful villa with all amenities. The best breakfast we had in Sri Lanka (we had 9 hotels). The pool is amazing. The hotel staff swept and cleaned the area every day. But the floor in the room was a bit dusty. Slow breakfast service. My advice is to serve breakfast indoors so that the guests are not bitten by mosquitoes. Thank you so much for your hospitality! I definitely recommend this villa to all travelers.
Traveling alone in Sri Lanka for a total of 8 days and 7 nights, all stayed in a homestay, this aspect is to control the budget, on the other hand, it is also able to deeply observe the people of Sri Lanka. This homestay is the best one I have ever stayed in in Sri Lanka. I arrived late and the hostess and her daughter had been waiting for me. The room was very spacious and clean. There was no breakfast in the order, and it was good for me to spend 5 dollars to try it. The only downside is that it is a bit far from the city center of Galle in the ancient city. If it is self-driving or chartered tour, there is no problem. When I left, I forgot to tell them that my email address is: ******************* I hope I can write an email to me!

ККсене4каThis is our second stay at the hotel in three weeks 😅 we're back again – we love everything.
It's clean, comfortable, and in a great location: the ocean is across the street, and some rooms have sea views. Breakfasts are delicious, with a good selection, and you can also dine à la carte at reasonable prices. The staff is helpful. There are cute palm squirrels and small monitor lizards wandering around the grounds. 🥰A minor downside is that the air conditioning blows on the bed. Overall, it's a great option for a seaside vacation; we'll definitely be back.
We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, we were quickly checked in and greeted with a welcome drink. The reception staff were very friendly, but the rest of the hotel staff were very strange (noisy, shouting, arguing with each other).
Our room was clean and tidy, the room had a large balcony, and
a large refrigerator. The water pressure in the shower was very good. The location of the hotel is also great (across the street from the beach, 5 minutes walk to the grocery store) Stay away from Tuk Tuk Mafia
TTigerwindThere is no bath gel in the room, not even a bath towel. Hair dryer is provided after request. In short, the facilities are too simple. However, the inn service staff is warm and thoughtful. The Tisza Lake is right outside the door
GGuest UserAdvantages: good service, very rich breakfast and dinner buffet, beautiful environment, great beach outside the hotel.
Cons: The room is a bit dated.
Hhitomi928Facilities: Not a newly opened hotel, but there is still a high standard of Shangri-La, especially want to go to the SPA, but unfortunately there is no time at all, you must go to experience it next time.

SSvetlana LysykhThe hotel is a 5+. It's beautiful and clean. There's live music in the lobby in the evenings, including a female singer and, on some days, a saxophone player. Entertainment is available. The beach has good sun loungers and a variety of them. The water is easy to enter, and the waves are almost nonexistent. There are beautiful rocks near the hotel; you have to walk through a Buddhist temple to get to the top. Interesting views. Monkeys and peacocks.
Good infrastructure—you can choose where to eat. Prices are about the same.
We liked everything.
Try the tuna steak at Red Snapper!
Across the hotel entrance is the Mama Mia restaurant. The food is delicious and the portions are large. We tried octopus and stingray steak.
DDoufutravelsThis stay was the highlight of our trip in Sri Lanka. The room is in the heart of nature, and you’re surrounded by the sounds of the wild, fresh air away from the roads, and the peace and quiet that comes with a more intimate stay. Additionally, the breakfasts have been our favourite, especially the hoppers! It was all fresh and Sri Lankan style, served with the jungle in front of us. One morning, we had monkeys. Another, chipmunks. One special night, we had fireflies. The location was exceptional.
However, it was Praneeth who really made this place special for us. We had great conversations, and he even recommended me a great birdwatching app. One night, we chatted for a couple of hours and I learned so much about this beautiful country. Genuinely, Praneeth is a huge value to Jungle Loft. He was attentive, thoughtful and a wonderful representation of the kindness Sri Lankan people exude. Thank you so much, Praneeth for your warmth!
I can’t recommend Jungle Loft enough. It’s an ideal location, it’s private, it’s beautiful, and you’ll be looked after. Go for it!!
JjainRajatExcellent location. Quite nearby to mirissa harbour and weligama. Liked the property. They arranged a candle lit dinner setting nearby beach as it was my honeymoon on request for no additional charges.
Liked the beach, the swimming facilities and the buffet for dinner as well as breakfast.
Arranged breakfast box as i had to go on whale watching and would have missed my breakfast.
Very nice staff.
Only thing they can improve is a bit quick on service as we had to call multiple times for getting our room cleaned.
GGuest UserHotel is very comfortable and client oriented. We are happy to stay there. Thank you very much for beautiful holiday and hospitality. Especially I should mention the size and delicious of breakfasts. A lots of thanks to the cook team
GGuest UserExcellent little spot by the beach, in our opinion this end of the beach was much nicer than the main Dikwella bay. Clean, calm and quiet - everything you could ask for. The hotel has private sun loungers which are always empty and available.
The hotel food is great, the pizza is cheap and absolutely amazing. We tried surf lessons with an excellent surf school next door which was great fun.
The rooms are basic, but comfortable and clean - totally fine.
Hiriketiya is just 5 minutes down the road in a Tuk Tuk and to be honest this beachfront is much nicer than Hiriketiya which we found busy, touristy and dirty - but there are some great cafes, shops and restaurants to head over for in the evening or morning.
Casa Smeralda staff were helpful and attentive - they always went above and beyond to be helpful and kind.
Overall, I would highly recommend this stay to anyone who wants a peaceful, calm beach hotel to relax in!
Side note: delivery apps did not work to this location but there are plenty of local restaurants to walk to.
