The hotel was really clean. The photos we saw of this hotel all over the internet showed it to be close to the promenade, but unfortunately it wasn't like the photos and it was a long walk from many things.
The breakfast didn't have the variety that a five-star hotel should have, it was about the same as a four-star hotel and there was very little choice. The Netherlands is famous for its cheese, and considering it was a five-star hotel and in the Netherlands, there was very little choice of cheese at the hotel's breakfast. The hotel didn't have slippers, it's a good thing we had brought them with us. We went to five- and four-star hotels in several different countries and they all gave us a bottle of mineral water a day, but here, no, there was no water and we bought it ourselves from the market. And another thing that really bothered us was the extreme coldness of the room🥶, to the point where it was like winter (we were there on September 1st). The air conditioner in the room was always on and could not be turned off at all, and they themselves confirmed this, and unfortunately I got sick there🥺😮💨.
One of the towels and one of the pillowcases were also dirty. If they can't be washed, they should be thrown away. This brings down the quality of a five-star hotel.
The menu selection was limited, but we had a very delicious fish dinner.😋
Friendly service and nice room with free drinks in the mini bar (in many hotels these days they are empty).
It is unclear to me that the parking costs are 19.95 euros. It was not clearly stated prior to the stay and during check-in.
Eventually these were waived by the beverage manager. Friendly man.
I will come here again despite the Danish lady behind the reception who was rather sharp and curt.
Nice hotel. Our room was not like many photos on the official page, but still a good room. The location is isolated but near Keukenhof. There is a very nice walk near the hotel to visit flower fields for free.
The restaurant is a little bit expensive compared to quality, but it’s ok.
The hotel lobby is very modern, the room is spacious, the comfort is high, the dry and wet separation, the breakfast is rich, no matter the restaurant or room service are very kind, the overall feeling is very comfortable. The feature is that the restaurant also prepares color pens and drawing paper for the children, which can be colored. Recommended d
Stayed here with 3 single beds in a room; but it was actually 2 beds & a sofa bed. This may be a Trip issue as there was no documenting this was the case. I also had to pay extra for the hotel when I arrived due to tax.
Finally, the aforementioned “sofa bed” wasn’t acknowledged by the cleaning staff as they made the 2 real beds in the day but not mine.
The staff were nice though but to be honest I don’t think I’d come back here again unless the rate was ridiculously cheap.

TTotal travellerBeautifully design hotel, but our room was facing a busy street when we asked for a water view and the noise still came through time to time. The location is helpful and walkable distance to the metro but it’s confusing to find without directions. The spa pool was closed during our stay unfortunately bringing the amenities down since that was a main attraction. Appreciate the helpful staff.
GGuest UserGreat hotel in a central location of Leiden, near the old town centre and near central train station, which is only a 11 minutes train ride from the Hague. Parking available.
BBee_❤️Getting there was incredibly easy — it’s only about an eight-minute metro ride from Rotterdam Central, and the hotel is literally just outside the Leuvehaven metro station, which makes arrival and getting around very convenient.
The hotel itself was very clean, and the staff were consistently friendly and welcoming. We had a canal-facing room, which was beautiful, especially in the evening when the lights reflected on the water — definitely a lovely touch to the stay.
It’s also about an eight-minute walk to Beurs, so you’re well placed for shops, restaurants, and the city centre without being right in the busiest area. I’d happily recommend this hotel for both comfort and location.
OOndernemer in VeranderingFine large clean room (own choice), but in the toilet still a last paper rest not washed and a long female hair in the shower, iehhh! Beds and kiss lovely! Breakfast greatly expanded. Location is close to the beach but in the middle of a pressing crosspoint, a little ‘nouja view' . Service reception and restaurant super friendly!

JJessenCarlaAll was fine, friendly staff.
Breakfast first day was not much choice for bread. T****e day was more choice.
The wc's wheel holder was very uneconomic, very bad for our back.
He was hanging next to the spray button, so behind us.
Maar verder was alles oke
TThe Force went on holidayAbsolutely wonderful. Could not find anything negative about this hotel. Possibly one of the best places I ever stayed. Extremely clean and neat, full equipped gym, quiet location. There was a misunderstanding with the booking which was resolved with the highest professionalism. Looking forward to the next time.
