We had a great stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, the room was very clean and comfortable, and the facilities were excellent — even better than some four-star hotels we’ve stayed in.
We also had dinner at the hotel and it was absolutely delicious.
The only small issue was that we could sometimes hear people talking in the hallway. Other than that, everything was wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

We traveled from Cradle Mountain to Hobart, spending a night in the small town of Queenstown to experience the Western Wilderness Railway. We chose a motel and the room was pretty good.

Situated at a beautiful central location with easy access to many of the city's historic buildings, restaurants, and information centre.
Room and bedding were comfortable. Very prompt and courteous customer service
Potential safety hazard for kids with very hot water supply in the showers.
Continental buffet breakfast was good, and the kitchen as well as staff kept pace with the service. Has secure paid parking onsite.
Free welcoming house beer for both of us upon check-in. Free slices of bread, jam, butter, apple juices and packets of cereals for two in the room for our breakfast. Dinner at the restaurant, the happening place in town, apparently. Among the many hotels I stayed in Australia, this hotel has exceeded the normal expectations. Room is a bit dated, but ok for location.
We booked a standard room and was offered an upgrade to a premium room with a view of the harbor for just $25 a night which we accepted. We did regret the decision as the view was awesome especially the sunset. Close food places and cruises and visitor centre.
The scenery is very good, the room is very comfortable, the boss is very enthusiastic, indicating that the room is very detailed, living in the farm wooden house, each window is the view, there is a lake nearby, it is a good place

The hotel is very very very good from each and every aspect. The owner of the hotel is so gentle and warm-hearted. The staffs also very helpful. Location, cleanliness, service all praiseworthy. I recommend this hotel for every kind of traveler. I never write review but their co-operative behavior compelled me to do so this time.

Very cute little bnb place. Good location.
Very friendly and helpful staff. You might also meet a couple of lovely other guests and have a nice chat over breakfast. It is a historical building, though old but really clean and things functioning properly.
It felt like staying on a farm. The scenery was beautiful, there were lots of animals, and the starry sky was stunning. The location is great for those with a car, and you can feed the animals for free. The hotel also has an orchard where you can pay to pick cherries. It was a lot of fun!

Very Good
WWarwagon86Fantastic trip and fantastic service at the Hilton Double Tree. Rooms and service were top-notch. Support from staff was fantastic too. My daughter hurt her foot in the pool and they sent her a little note and bar of chocolate which made her day - above and beyond. Our only complaint was the breakfast buffet was pretty average and with Hobart being such a vibrant bustling city of beautiful food they need to up their game. Everything was ok and a decent selection, however the hot food section was pretty poor and the sausages were like cardboard. Kids loved the cereal and fruits on offer so that was a bonus.
GGuest UserI stayed at this hotel twice during my trip, once in a beachside room and once in a sea-view room. This particular night, I booked a room directly accessible by elevator in the main building. My only minor disappointment was the low floor, just the 4th floor, but everything else was excellent.

AAwesomeVivianThe hotel is in Freycinet National Park, about 2.5 hours drive from Hobart Airport. Because it is right-hand drive, I was really not used to it at first. The whole island of Tasmania is S-shaped curves, and there are often wild animals crossing the road, so try to choose to drive when the sight is good. Freycinet Lodge has a good ecological environment. There is no gym or swimming pool, but the beach and forest park are a 10-minute walk away. Running 10 kilometers every day, breathing fresh air, and getting close to nature and wild animals, it feels great! The hotel’s own restaurant has good meals. If you want to eat something else, you have to drive out, which usually takes at least 15 minutes by car. We tried the hotel’s chartered boat and paddleboard activities, which felt great. When we went out to sea, we also saw seals basking in the sun, which was very cute. Looking forward to coming again next time!

GGuest UserThe location is superb. The service and cleanliness were absolutely faultless, ensuring a very comfortable stay. If I ever return to Tasmania, this will undoubtedly be my top choice for accommodation. We enjoyed a view of the harbour, and it was very peaceful.
__WeChat236077****The hotel is very clean and the location is excellent. The only minor drawback is that the facilities, including the beds, are all very high, seemingly designed for someone around 175cm tall. There are no overhead or wall lights, only a few stylish floor lamps, which create a nice ambiance but are too dim. Another slightly inconvenient detail is the full-length mirror directly facing the bed on one of the walls. I feel like most Asians aren't too fond of that kind of mirror-facing-the-bed design.
PP SriswaiIt is a decent hotel located in the city of Hobart. There is a restaurant and cafe in the building. There is a gym if you are into fitness. The hotel does not provide a bottle of water for the guest, so you need to bring your own container and fills it at the gym or purchase it from the convenience store nearby. For those who hired a car, please note if you wish the hotel to park it in a valet parking and retrieve it anytime you need, there will be a cost of A$35 per day.
TTamBenThis hotel seems to have a rich history. The environment is absolutely beautiful, and it's within walking distance of the Cradle Mountain shuttle bus stop. There are even lovely walking trails right around the hotel. However, the electric heater in the room wasn't warm enough during the snowy weather. On the bright side, we could already see animals from our room!
