Pretty clean room and spacious. Good supply of toothbrushes, comb etc. Breakfast was limited as expected. AC worked as normal, which was important as it was 32 degree C outside. Only 1.4km from the famous water street, took around 20 mins to walk there. A few restaurants near the area, else nothing much to do except walking around the large park.

The hotel is very good, with good location and good facilities. The breakfast is also very rich, including Chinese and Western food. The tiramisu tastes very good. There are also robots that deliver fruits to your stay. The girl at the front desk was also very nice. Because I booked the wrong room, she gave me a free upgrade. I will choose this hotel next time I come.

This was an interesting hotel. It is in the ChongPing gorge so a little bit complicated to get to. Luckily the hotel has a shuttle service to pick you up from the outside of ChongPing. Reception staff are very attentive and welcoming. The room was nice as and well furnished. They are doing construction so the building being constructed takes away from the view, but the mountain is still visible from the rooms and the roof, and a couple of minute walk gets you a clean view.

Chuanxing Yinli Hotel – A Great Stay! This hotel is excellent—beautiful, spacious rooms with all the comforts you need. Super convenient location and easy to find, which made getting around a breeze. What impressed me the most was the staff. They were incredibly helpful, especially when it came to booking tickets. I truly appreciated their support. Would definitely stay here again if I return!

Booked a suite room for a family of four, room was pretty cramp & lacking in terms of amenities (e.g. no wardrobe to hang clothes, had to place our luggage on the sofa as there wasn't enough space) We checked-in during the late evening, and wanted to watch TV via their projector - however, the power wasn't plugged in & as the power source was on the ceiling it was incredibly difficult to reach (even the staff that came to help was wondering who plugged it out & tried to help us). Breakfast selection was alright for a short stay. Staff was friendly & service was good as well. 5mins drive from the hotel to 九寨沟 scenic area.

A Truly Exceptional 9-Day Stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Chengdu We recently spent 9 days and 8 nights at The Ritz-Carlton Chengdu, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The service at the Club Lounge was outstanding—warm, personalized, and consistently attentive. Jacey, Jasmine, Cathy, Ricky, and Ann truly made our stay memorable. They not only greeted us by name but also remembered our usual preferences, making each visit to the lounge feel special and welcoming. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality stood out every single day. We also want to highlight the efficiency of the room service reception and room service team, who were consistently swift and responsive in attending to our requests. Whether it was a simple need or a last-minute call, the service was prompt and courteous every time. A big thank you as well to the concierge team for handling our transport needs so smoothly. Special thanks to Evan, who went above and beyond to help us secure entrance tickets to the Panda Research Base when we had trouble booking it ourselves. There were many other team members who contributed to making our stay comfortable—even though we didn’t manage to get everyone’s names, we sincerely appreciate their dedication. Thank you to the entire team at The Ritz-Carlton Chengdu for making our visit so enjoyable and seamless. We truly look forward to returning again in the future.

Felt abit disappointed because service is not top tier. As you can see from the images the fridge requires us to plug in electricity (see chinese characters) before it works. we could not find the plug and called the reception. He sounded reluctant to come to the room to help us. I told him we prefer him to setup for us since we are afraid to damage the facility since it was not easy to find the plug. the guy came up with a sour face and he did help us with setup but very cold attitude. oh well... thats your job right...our request is not unreasonable, we also didnt scold him or gave him attitude etc. but why he gave us attitude right? we also enquired where is the post service nearby the hotel and they told us to search using our phone. 😐 but hotel facilities wise were great and cute with the bear designs. hotel staff needs further upskilling in terms of customer service and professionalism. location of hotel is convenient too, it is near many shops, walking distance to chunxi road.

Tten.ten.2020Coming here again in the spring, this inn remains the highlight of my trip. Imagine having had a rough trip: the cold, intense population density, and tough business meetings. Weary, you get off a late flight with sore legs. You trudge over to the inn, turning the final corner into its warm lights, past the usual check-in time. You have no idea how things could go; some hotel receptions can be rather unpleasant. Your first brush with Xishu is its simple double glass doors, and the sight of a giant panda statue. You totter past it gingerly, unsure if anyone is awake at such a late hour. Ah. But someone is. A youthful girl smiles gently at you over the counter, ”Hello. Check in?” You smile awkwardly, unsure, ”Yes, I know it's late...” ”No,” She responds softly, ”It's ok. Could I get your passport?” There wasn't a fuss. She smiles and gets to work quietly, clicking away. You set your luggage down and look around. Behind you, you notice the little courtyard, a cultural icon of traditional chinese architecture. A small fountain sputters, fairy lights are strung above for the spring festival, casting a surreal ambience over everything. Wind chimes jingle faintly. You draw a breath at it all. Small tables and chairs are laid out, welcoming you. ”Your room key,” You turn around to see the youthful girl at the counter smiling gently with a keycard. She briefs you in the same calming tone; wifi, breakfast, washing machines, and even a map of attractions all planned out. You thank her, reminded of your travel fatigue, and head on up. Your footsteps are dampened by carpet, going in hallways of soothing chinese wooden interior designs. The inn is quiet at this hour, unlike the large hotels that have kids or travel groups. You tap your keycard to get in your room... And a small welcome basket awaits you. Apples and oranges, sweets, tiny little spicy sichuan snacks. The aesthetic of the room remains faithful to the inn, throwing you back down the memory lane... to Japanese ryokans, to Bali's traditional guest villas, or to vacation cottages in Europe. But something is a little different. Instead of stripping technology and modern convenience, this inn has woven it into its design. Air conditioning has been set for you. Smart toilet seats detect your presence and keep itself clean. Shower buttons are easy to understand, with a single easily controllable hot water lever. Even the mirror at the bathroom sink detects your presence and lights up, with a heating coil that prevents it from fogging on mornings. You wash up. Sleep. The next day, you wake for breakfast, barely after the sun had broken the steel gray of dawn, now you witness the inn's courtyard in the day. Nobody is seated outside yet in such low temperatures, but you take a moment to look around and just soak in the ambience. Uninterrupted. When you finally turn towards reception, you notice a pair youthful girls at the counter. Both quietly smiling and unassuming. Calming, instead of the forced professionalism at other hotels. There's something real here. A sincerity. A genuine kindness that permeates, perhaps from proximity to the monastery? Perhaps the unique historic district? Perhaps the owner and managers made it this way. The girls check your breakfast options again, in case you might have changed your mind. You totter into the resturant, barely awake, but a fresh cup of nespresso hits you quickly, a familiar aroma from home in a land 12,000km away from home. And then fruits. Milk. Toast bread. Butter! Sichuan noodles in the morning. Exotic dumplings. Eggs sunny side up. By the time breakfast is done, you know you will be returning here again. And again. I have. I've made friends with the hotel staff. I hope you will too. And if you love the people and place as much as I do, I hope you, too, will give it your best shot. If you've read this far, I hope we meet in this distant land. Some day.

JJaneyyy89This resort is nothing short of amazing and I would definitely rate this resort 10/10! I have a young toddler aged 18MO & elderly parents above 70YO during this stay and we absolutely loved our stay here. Value-for-money (we stayed during off-peak season, weekday, about RMB1000/night for our original room type), relatively new, clean & big rooms. Some noteworthy details: - Service is top-notched. Staff were friendly & very helpful. We could see that they really put in their heart into the work they do. They even gave our little one a panda toy & she loves it - a really nice gesture by the resort. - The resort is located at Jintang, a hot spring precinct. With Trip.com, we booked the hotel bundle/package and it was fantastic. The key items in the package include: (a) A free strawberry picking experience at a nearby humble farm called 许姐草莓采摘. Each booking entitles you to 500g worth of strawberries (transport at own expense, only about RMB10 by Didi). The strawberries were big and juicy, we were lucky cos they are in season now! (b) 40-min Himalayan Salt Therapy/Bath for 1 pax/room (c) Outdoor hot spring experience for the whole family (my 18MO loves it too!). There are many pools to choose from & we could find one which was not too hot for our baby. This is otherwise chargeable from RMB228/pax to RMB468/family of 2A1C. (d) Bicycle rental, but we didn’t try it as it was too cold. - Resort looks amazing, both indoors & outdoors! There were a number of activities for children to enjoy too but our naughty one is too young to appreciate it. Older kids will love them. - We also loved the hotel’s concept of having complimentary bottles of distilled water etc. which is really important to us as we needed a lot of water for our baby’s food. This meant that that we did not have to go to the trouble of finding a supermarket, which is quite a distance away. - We managed to snag a free upgrade to a Spring 2-Bedroom Villa due to our Accor Gold membership & it’s low peak season. All villas come with private pool - ours was available both on L1 & L2. - Hotel uses quality furnishing & Toto toilet, definitely a plus. Water pressure is great too. - We had all our meals at L’Orange as there are no nearby eateries & our time is limited due to our baby. The steamboat set is pricey but highly recommended! The fish & lamb meat (can be changed to beef at diner’s request) were fresh & really good. We liked all the other meat dishes too except for the dumplings. If you have Accor Plus membership, the usual discounts are available too. The hotel breakfast is also at the same restaurant. Breakfast selection was good even though there were not many guests. Areas of improvement: - Resort was able to provide a baby cot for our 18MO. However, the mattress was a little hard & the cot was creaky, it kept our baby awake. - The air-con ventilation vents are directly above the baby cot and it became too cold for our baby in the middle of the night. Couldn’t adjust the temperature no matter what. The staff managed to made it warmer the following night but it resulted in some loud noises, probably issues with the damper. - Rooms can be a little cleaner (e.g we saw dust balls on the floor). Thank you Ocean Spring Resort Chengdu! We had a great stay here. Will definitely be back!

GGuest UserI wish to do a fair review of my B&B stay at Emeishan. Service was spectacular. 1) The hotel provides free pick-up and drop-off services from Emeishan Station (not to be confused with Emei Station), about 7-8 mins drive from the hotel. I communicated via WeChat which trains I would be on and let them know that my 1st train arrival was actually so that I could drop off my large suitcase at their place, before going backwards to Leshan for half a day, and then returning to Emeishan in the evening. Not only did they agree to send someone to the train station to pick-up, they agreed to pick up only my luggage without me needing to accompany. So I could add an additional hour to my Leshan trip. Then they came to the train station a 2nd time in the evening to pick me back to the hotel. 2) The hotel replies very very quickly on WeChat, as if monitoring it all the time. 3) The hotel could arrange ticket purchase of a show, Only Emeishan, at a price lower than what you find on the official website. 4) The hotel even left the suitcase in my room before my arrival. 5) When I told the hotel to skip preparing my breakfast as I was starting off at 7am the next day to go Emeishan (breakfast is 7.30am at the hotel), they offered to put some items into a plastic box for me to take along. 5-star service in terms of making arrangements! They gave me a really large room, and I never used the bathtub with the bath herbs, but am thankful for the upgrade. Loved it that they gave 1 gigantic bottle of water and 2 smaller ones, showing their care for pple intending to climb Emeishan. Please don't expect too much from what they call ”Afternoon Tea” included in your package. It is merely a small tray of dried/fresh fruit, so it wouldn't form a meal. But I would not be fair to readers of reviews if I didn't give a balanced review. a) The hardware is a bit tired. The wooden planks in the shower room are blackish, and there are water marks on the stone in the bathroom. b) The power sockets are not at good locations. They are at the lower parts of a wall at a random spot and nothing near the bedside. c) The lights in the room are not well-positioned. d) There was an empty bottle below the wardrobe area when I first entered the room, which was missed even on the 2nd day. e) As I'm not familiar with Emeishan, I also didn't know that 黄湾 area is not exactly the main activity area in Emeishan. That said, the hotel is a 5-7 min walk from the 黄湾 entrance/exit to Emeishan. I believe the Baoguo Temple entrance/exit would be more popular. There are several restaurants around the restaurant but the vast majority appear closed or are not occupied, so it doesn't feel very lively, whether day or night. All in all, I would still recommend this hotel as they are family owned and run. The whole family depends on your support. Support local small business and give them a chance.

MMirandaK95We had a lovely stay here as a stop off on our journey round china. The location is within walking distance to some local restaurants and the main shopping street/mall areas. The Chinese breakfast was very nice too. The reception staff went out of their way to help us with booking tickets and restaurant recommendations despite the language barrier. We ate lunch in the restaurant once too which surpassed our expectations and was very tasty. We got upgraded to a themed room and while we appreciated the extra space there was a lack of lighting and surface space. We also saw there was a bar when booking but this was open when we tried to visit and the entire top floor terrace was closed which is a shame.

GGuest UserThis was an interesting hotel.

GGuest UserThree of us stayed here for three nights. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Although it's a hotel, it gives off friendlier vibes, like a B&B or hostel. The loft room was pretty big and we slept well. I wouldn't recommend this type of room for very small children due to the staircase and possibility of slipping through railing posts. The bathroom was too small for the smart toilet, which kept opening and flushing, sometimes even if you just went to wash your hands, because it would sense you getting close. The air conditioner worked well, which we appreciated on these hot days. The location was excellent. We enjoyed the Shufeng Yayun Sichuan Opera House Show just down the road a little bit in the park. Subway line 2 is very close and convenient. A great stay!

CCeeVieAreThis is my first visit to Chengdu and Qionglai city. This hotel or courtyard stay is affiliated to Wyndham Garden along Wenjun Street i.e. big square with various shops for shopping (sports attire brands, yinshion, Miniso), dining and decors perfect for social media posting. Dining options include McD, KFC, Pizza Hut, Starbucks, Chagee, Naixue, Heytea, Mixue and local brand dining or beverage operators. Outside the square/Wyndham Garden there are Lawson, Family Mart, 7 eleven and local Hongqiao marts(prices lower). Local mini restaurants selling Sichuan food, noodles, dumplings, snacks are also available outside the square/garden, opposite AllAboutLove bakery and Naixue outlet. Qionglai city is closely associated with a historical female poet called Zhuo Wenjun. Her residence and Wenjun well built during Han Dynasty is located 10-15 mins walk from Wyndham Garden. Look for Bank of China branch and walk across the street to reach China Construction Bank branch Then walk straight down until you see a public toilet on your right and cross the street. Walk until you see an open space carpark and go in the carpark you will find Wenjun Residence on your left, entry is free. You may book a car to Qionglai city from Tianfu airport but be prepared to pay RMB400+ equivalent using trip app. Going back to Chengdu city by car is about RMB200. Standby with some cash if you encounter QR code scan problem. There are also buses and trains options to reach here. 1 -0.5 hours drive you can visit famous Tiantai Mountain, Pingle Ancient Town, Bamboo Canyon Scenic Area ( went there and love it❤️❤️❤) , Yuanwozi winery, etc. ️ My stay was very refreshing and Manager Ma was very helpful and accommodating to all my queries. My travelling plans to nearby attractions was fulfilled despite unfavourable weather, drizzling 2 days non stop. I would recommend for atleast 2 night stays to enjoy 1 day outskirt trip + 1 day chill in the room and enjoy backyard outdoor onsen to relax. Breakfast buffet include western (cereal/salad/eggs/sausages/ham/fries/bread), dimsum, soup, cakoi and soya bean, 3x types of porridges and condiments, local breakfast ( starter or salad, fried rice, meat and vegetable dishes), deserts, local fruits and cut fruits. Hotel staff can also help to order takeouts for you.
