The hotel is located on the edge of Wellington city center, right next to the Parliament and Government House, as well as Wellington Railway Station. It's about a 10-minute walk to the city center and the Te Papa National Museum. Since it's a hotel, self-service laundry isn't available, so I had to find a laundromat outside to do my washing.
I chose this hotel because I wasn't flying back to Wellington until 8:30 p.m. and was flying on to Sydney at 6:00 a.m. The hotel's advantage is its proximity to the airport and the great free airport pickup and drop-off service. There is a Rydges Hotel right at Wellington Airport, but it's probably significantly more expensive than the relatively affordable Brentwood at €90 per night. The hotel is clearly showing its age, but a renovation is probably not worth it, given the low price and the great transfer service.
I had a really enjoyable stay at Copthorne Solway Park. The grounds are spacious and beautifully maintained, and the atmosphere feels relaxed and welcoming from the moment you arrive. The room was comfortable, the bed was great, and the facilities—especially the pool and outdoor areas—made it easy to unwind after a long day.
One small thing to note is that I did encounter a couple of insects in the room. It wasn’t a major issue, and given the rural setting it’s probably hard to avoid completely, but it’s worth mentioning.

The room is very tidy and big, even there is no parking available but the staff showed me a free space along the road to park overnight.
There is even washing machine which surprised me and it was working well.
The breakfast is good but price is 35 nzd not 19 mentioned in the trip site. I booked the room reading others' comment about the breakfast but to be honest the types of food is not so much and didnt meet my expectations.

This was a short stopover in Wellington to board the early morning ferry to Picton as the hotel location was perfect for the city and ferry.. However we were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the Movenpick. The rooms were clean and comfortable with all of the amenities you would expect and more. We were delighted with the complimentary chocolate buffet at 4pm most unexpected but delicious. The staff were also very helpful and friendly.
A divine experience glamping in a vineyard! ❤️
Had the good fortune of stumbling across Martinborough on my way to Wellington. It's a quaint place with a variety of well appointed cabins with gas fireplaces and spa baths just outside the cute village of cafes, shops and wineries. Their team is kind and hardworking. 💯
Bring your own food since you'll have a kitchenette and food can be limited during the day since most places don't open until evening or the weekends for tourists. Also, recommend driving since it's both expensive and challenging to get around outside of the limited free shuttle. Bikes are available to rent for $40NZD 🤑🤑

the hotel and service are very good. location is convenient to almost everything in Wellington. We however had problem checking out when i was told to pay extra fee for accomodation despite trip.com already paid everything. i had to sort this out with trip.com and they dropped the charge.

The room was spacious, with two 1.5-meter queen-size beds and a kettle. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was plentiful. There was a fresh juice and vegetable dispenser. The location was great, right next to the pier, museums, and designer shops. Just over 100 meters away, there's a fantastic Chinese restaurant, ”Jasmine Restaurant,” which has been in business for 45 years.

The entrance was a little hard to find, but it's easy once you get used to it. The hotel is also conveniently located. As the name suggests, there were many paintings and other artworks, and the reception and lobby were very stylish.
The hallway to our room also had a luxurious feel to it, which was exciting. We were given a very spacious corner room. The kitchen was equipped with a microwave and a large dishwasher, which was very convenient. The bathroom had a bathtub separate from the shower, which made soaking in the hot water very relaxing.
Above all, it felt luxurious and special, and seeing my daughters so happy made me very happy. I would like to stay here again. Thank you.

The hotel is in a great location, on Cuba Street, a food street with many restaurants that can be changed every day. In addition, it is located in the downtown area and is close to various scenic spots, which can be reached in about 10-15 minutes on foot. It is also very convenient to take an Uber, and you can reach the scenic spots in a few minutes. The room is quite large, and the single bed in the twin room is also 1.35 meters wide, which is very spacious for sleeping with children. The carpet is also relatively new and feels very clean. It is the first choice for family travel. The front desk service is also very good, and there are Chinese-speaking employees. I will definitely stay in this hotel again when I come to Wellington next time.

思思We booked a two-bedroom suite. Strictly speaking, it is OK. There are more flies here. Because we feel that there are more flies, we close the door after it is finished. It is very hot! Everything else is good! The equipment space is just right!
