It was great! If there is one thing I need them to improve, it’s the restaurant service. Orders take a looot of time to get served even canned drinks. And you can’t tell me that it’s because of the occupancy. It’s a slow day when we checked in, not much guests around. Overall it definitely is a great place. Would come again. Would recommend. Just please improve the restaurant service!

From the moment we arrived at Dusit Thani Residence Davao, we felt welcomed and well-taken care of. The lobby, though modest in size, exuded a calm charm and the check-in process was smooth. We were greeted warmly by staff who treated us with genuine hospitality — their attentiveness set the tone for our entire stay. Many previous guests also praised the staff’s politeness and readiness to help.  We stayed in a studio apartment, and it was nothing short of comfortable. The room came with a kitchenette, a coffee/tea maker, minibar, and free WiFi — extremely convenient whether you’re staying briefly or planning a longer stay.  The modern fittings and thoughtful layout made it easy to relax or be productive: there was enough space to move around, and everything was clean and well-kept. Cleanliness, indeed, stood out during our stay — a point frequently echoed by other guests.  One of the highlights was the leisure amenities. We took full advantage of the outdoor swimming pool — a serene little oasis perfect for a morning dip or evening unwind. The fitness centre, spa, and wellness offerings added to the sense of pampering. For those traveling with kids or family, there’s even a kids’ pool and a family-friendly vibe. There were occasional gripes about maintenance — for example, shower drains draining slowly or small furniture quirks — and a few found the elevator access between towers a bit awkward, especially if coming from parking.  A minority even felt the place fell short of 5-star expectations in certain respects.  Still, for us, these were minor blemishes compared to the overall positive experience. What stood out was how the hotel blends comfort, convenience, and courteous service with enough extras to feel like more than just a “place to sleep.” The pool, spa, and kitchen-equipped rooms make it a strong choice for families, couples, business travellers — essentially anyone who values a balance of luxury and practicality. Our stay at Dusit Thani Lubi Plantation in Davao was truly a memorable family experience and exactly what you would expect from a high-end 5-star resort. From the moment we arrived, everything felt seamless and well thought out for both adults and kids. The resort itself is stunning, with beautiful swimming pools, pristine beachfront, and a wide range of water and land activities that kept the whole family entertained throughout our stay. Dining was a highlight. Every meal was consistently excellent, and having an onsite Starbucks was a great bonus for those quick coffee breaks in between activities. Breakfast each morning was especially impressive — a fantastic spread with high quality options that set the tone for the day. What truly made the experience stand out, however, was the team. Special thanks to Joshua and Clarise — with Clarise showing excellent management in complicated situations — as well as Dominic and Ralphe, for their outstanding service and genuine hospitality. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was smooth, enjoyable, and complete. This is a place that delivers on both luxury and warmth — perfect for families looking for a relaxing yet engaging getaway. We will definitely be back in September.

We had a really great experience at Pearl Farm Beach Resort. The service was excellent, and the transportation arrangement was smooth and well-organized. I definitely felt like I got what I paid for. The staff and crew were very accommodating, polite, and attentive throughout our stay. Whenever we needed something, they responded right away. I also appreciated how friendly everyone was, some of the crew even helped take our pictures, which made the experience more memorable. The food was also delicious, and we truly enjoyed it. I’m giving 4 stars for cleanliness because I noticed there was a bird’s nest in the Samal House we stayed in, and there were times when bird droppings were present in the area. I hope this can be improved for future guests. Overall, it was still a wonderful and relaxing stay, and kudos to the whole team for their hospitality and excellent customer service.

I visited last December, and once again, the friendly and kind staff at Ahoview Hotel made me decide to stay here again. The rooms are well-cleaned and very tidy. The city view from the window also gets a passing grade. And most of all, I was satisfied with the breakfast buffet, though I would have been even happier if there were mangoes in the fruit section. Also, the Halo-Halo I had at the café was incredibly delicious. I'll include photos for you to see. This trip to Davao for three days was very satisfying. I'm truly grateful to all the hotel staff who work so sincerely for their guests.

I enjoyed my stay here, so much so that I kept extending my stay in Davao with Royal Mandaya. Loved the feeling of home away from home as it was my first time in Davao City. My only gripe would probably be the efficiency of the service for some of the things I requested early on for my stay prior to a celebration that I got lucky to be invited to. I hope that in-house services would be provided in a timely manner so that guests' schedules won't have to suffer. Other than that, it's all good. The amenities and the entire staff of the hotel are very nice. I can't wait to visit again! See you soon. ~ Cris

I went with sister and friend. And we are please with service and location is in the center. The breakfast buffet was excellent, different variety every day. 24 hour front desk personnel and security are a plus. I recommend this hotel.

We had a great time at this hotel because the room was clean, comfortable, and the air conditioning was very cold as well. The staff were polite and very accommodating. It’s just a 5-minute walk to SM Lanang Premier and other restaurants nearby. The Waling-Waling Café was spacious, and the selection of food was excellent. The breakfast was superb. Highly recommended!
