I booked this stay after seeing it recommended on TikTok, but unfortunately it didn’t live up to the hype. It also wasn’t in the centre of town, which made getting around less convenient than expected. The mattress was so soft it felt like I was being swallowed by it, making it really uncomfortable to sleep. The room itself was extremely hot — even after turning off the radiator it was still warm, and the only way to cool it down was by opening the window. That would’ve been fine, except the noise from the spa pumps ran all night and made it difficult to rest. We must have been given an older room because it looked nothing like the pictures we saw on TikTok.
Parking was valet-only and cost £25, which felt excessive. On a positive note, the room was clean, but it was also quite small and definitely in need of an update.
Overall, not the relaxing experience I was hoping for.

PPHYO PHYO WAI YANG YINGWe booked 2 rooms 1 night last minute booking. I got Junior suite for me & my husband. Room is very spacious for UK standard, sea view is very beautiful Seaview. The hotel has lift thats very good for travelers with many luggages.The room is a little cold so we switched on spare small heater which is warm enough. Their specialist amenities are very good. Whisky Honey. Oh.our room door isn't working, that's pretty scary.

GGuest UserVery good stay , the bedroom was a good size and comfortable. The hotel was in a superb spot with great views over the bay.
The food in the restaurant was good quality but I thought rather expensive. Breakfast was excellent and the restaurant service was very good with attentive staff. The place could use some modernisation but this did not detract from overall enjoyment.

CCedricYangLovely resort stay with beautiful landscapes and gorgeous golf view with beach nearby. Enjoyed the calm and peaceful nature. Would love to stay there longer for my next visit. Delicious breakfast spread (made to order with various choices).

AAnonymous UserVery clean and comfortable lodge room. Only stayed one night and didn’t use the leisure facilities although the pool and outdoor pool looked fantastic. Had an absolutely amazing meal in the restaurant. Great experience.

QQiangdaoI booked a two-day stay, but had to cancel one day due to travel arrangements. Unfortunately, the hotel wouldn't give me a free stay, so the two-day stay allowed me to relax and unwind in the quiet town, resulting in a better experience. The other guests were all elderly, clearly wealthy white couples; according to the promotional materials, King George VI and Montgomery had also visited and stayed there, making it a great vacation spot. 👍
