Very Good
NNasherul 杜森林I had a wonderful stay at the White Palace Hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived, always ready to help with a smile. The hotel was spotlessly clean, which made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout my stay. The location is very convenient, being so close to the airport, and the surrounding scenery was a lovely bonus—peaceful and pleasant to look out onto. The facilities were well-maintained, and I truly appreciated the overall atmosphere. Highly recommend this place for business travelers or anyone needing a convenient yet relaxing stopover.
IILIA PARAMONOVThe hotel is conveniently located right next to Hazrat Shahjalal Airport, and also on Dhaka's main avenue. The staff are polite and always ready to help with any questions. The room is simple, nothing fancy, but clean, and has a shower and toilet. Breakfast is good, but there was no meat, at least not for us.
MMaodaniangThis hotel is definitely a top-tier choice in Bangladesh, offering a stark contrast between its luxurious interior and the outside world. The room, especially the bed, was incredibly comfortable – I could sleep soundly for hours! I didn't dare use the tap water for brushing my teeth, opting for the bottled water provided by the hotel instead.
Breakfast offered a wide variety, but there was an issue with expired orange juice. The manager initially tried to brush it off, but after I spoke to the front desk, a French manager came out to handle the situation. Overall, it still maintains a certain level of five-star service.
Getting a taxi to various destinations was convenient, with pickups right in the lobby. The room rate offered great value for money.
We also had dinner at the hotel. The buffet at $85 US was definitely overpriced, but the à la carte menu was quite decent, costing around 150 RMB per person.
XXiaodaoshuangbaizhilvGood value for money, and the cleanliness is fair for the price. The location is also great, situated in the embassy district. It's just two blocks away from the bustling Gulshan Avenue, where hotels typically cost over 1000. The air quality and traffic in Dhaka, however, are really something else.
AAnfisa FilippovnaOverall, the hotel is decent, but it's not worth the money. The staff at the reception and in the restaurant are very polite. They always greet you, smile, and open doors.
The location is good. There's a park nearby and a shopping center with many cafes opposite.
The breakfasts aren't overly varied but are quite good. There was always a meat dish, fruits, cheese, and a variety of pastries. Pleasant, relaxing music plays. However, there was a big BUT that spoiled the entire impression. Out of 5 days spent at the hotel, I saw cockroaches in the restaurant twice. Once it was just on the wall, and the second time it was sitting right on a piece of bread. It was terribly unpleasant.
Also, despite their general politeness, the male housekeepers cleaned the room in a very peculiar way. For some reason, they cleaned the toilet without detergents, and the toilet smell lingered. Maybe they're trying to save money.
I understand that this is Bangladesh, and it's foolish to expect the same standards as European hotels. But they do position themselves as an expensive hotel for foreign guests and generally well-off people. They need to live up to that. First and foremost, they should get rid of the cockroaches in the kitchen. I don't believe the staff themselves have never seen them there.
TTrippinDawgI recently stayed at The Zabeer Dhaka and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel is centrally located, making it very convenient for both business and leisure travelers. The staff were professional, courteous, and always ready to help with a smile.
The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the modern amenities you’d expect — including a comfortable bed, clean linens, and a reliable Wi-Fi connection. The bathroom was also well-maintained and stocked with essentials.
One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet — it offered a good mix of local and continental options, and the food quality was above average. Room service was prompt, and the in-house restaurant served delicious meals.
However, a few areas could be improved. The check-in process was a bit slower than expected, and the lobby sometimes felt understaffed during peak hours. A little more attention to detail in room facilities like at least a window for air circulation would elevate the overall experience.
That said, The Zabeer Dhaka is a great option if you’re looking for comfort, convenience, and value in the heart of the city. I would consider staying here again.
GGuest UserAn outstanding stay — the best in Bangla
I stayed here during my time in Bangla, and it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The facilities were excellent, the service flawless, and the hospitality truly exceptional. Every staff member went above and beyond to make me feel welcome — warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. I couldn’t recommend this place more highly.
GGuest UserAbsolutely tops in terms of service/ helpfulness! Hotel manager snd staff sorted out a complicated issue involving our booking and refused to take or ask for any money from us over the 5 days we stayed - even upgrading us to a suite for the final two nights when one became available.
Staff speak English - and are helpful in providing Information about getting around, arranging transportation and laundry. A lovely rooftop cafe - a green oasis- and Taste Snacks. A Full Range of Bengali dishes as well as western food is also avsilable. And all this for less than 50CAD - very good value!
The hotel is located near the Old City- easily accessible by taxi, tuktuk or rickshaw- also BaileyRoad is within easy walking distance, a quieter tree lined street and New Bailey Road with Shopping Restaurants etc though these are also available in a buzzier context in the streets surrounding the hotel.
We would definitely recommend this hotel and Return again- Note the address at 873 Outer Circular Road( not the one on listing we saw/ booked located several hundred meters away, at 12 Outer Circular Road. The hotels are not linked, whatever you are told by the latter. And actual Grand Circle Inn at 873 is of higher standard/ quality…
Ssteven.xiaoThis hotel is quite good for Bangladesh standards. It has a rooftop pool and gym, and the breakfast is excellent. The facilities are a bit old, and the room was a little small.
NNowshadoffI had a 5-star experience at Uttara Chinese Hotel last night. The hospitality was exceptional, the rooms were spotless, and the service was top-notch. Highly recommended for a perfect stay!
