To begin with the positives, the hotel is situated in a very convenient and well-connected area. Being close to central Kolkata, it’s easy to access various parts of the city, whether for business or leisure. The immediate surroundings are pleasant and relatively peaceful, which added to the comfort of the stay. The room provided was decent—clean, well-organized, and equipped with the expected amenities for a four-star property. The bed was comfortable, and the room had adequate lighting and storage space. The bathroom was functional and clean, although not particularly luxurious. In terms of comfort and upkeep, the room met my expectations. One feature I particularly appreciated was the hotel’s gym facility. It was clean, well-maintained, and had a decent range of equipment for a quick workout. Hotel was clean and beautiful. Staff was friendly and helpful. Ms. Kusum was very kind and professional and even changed the room according to our need. Breakfast was with good spread as usual for JW standards. Only setback, too many guests. Crowded during breakfast and lobbies were filled with people due to weddings and events. Otherwise service, amenities and pool areas were all lovely. Satisfied, No regrets

Elegant and luxurious hotel located in a beautifully renovated palace of royal family of Kolkata. Our room was very spacious, beautifully furnished with old, wooden furniture. The huge bathroom and all floors are made of marble. The hotel is located in multiple buildings of the palace complex. Delicious breakfast can be eaten outside in shaded patio or inside in air conditioned restaurant. Every evening there is a live show of folk dance performers. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at.

Hospitality was excellent. All the staff were very courteous, which is really commendable as now a days hotel staff are usually found to be inefficient.

I chose Trinity Hotel Lexicon Matigara for a small anniversary stay but was disappointed by several issues. I had specifically requested a room away from the lift with a good view, yet the assigned room was directly in front of the lift and faced the side of the building with a poor view. The room location caused repeated noise and lack of privacy, which affected our celebration. While the staff were polite, the room allocation felt careless and not in line with the booking request. If this is how room assignments are handled at this property, I’m hesitant to book again. I hope management improves communication and respects guest preferences so future stays better match expectations.

Journey time to hotel from airport about 20 min drive. Hotel to cricket stadium journey time will be 15 to 20 min drive. It’s easy to get uber and ola service. Hotel staff are friendly and welcoming. Thank you

As a touring musician, I have stayed at upscale hotels worldwide, and this might be my favorite ANYWHERE. VERY comfortable, quiet rooms. The facility is beautiful and welcoming inside and out with a sharp, modern design. I particularly enjoyed the rooftop pool/spa/gymnasium area -with the excellent view, this was a great place to start the morning! The restaurant and adjacent bar are very nice. Most importantly, every single person who works here, whether front desk staff, security, or ***agement, is OUTSTANDING. They take pride in their hotel and genuinely want you to enjoy your stay. The hotel is also in a beautiful neighborhood. I sincerely hope to come back!
