Everything was great except some workers were rude and for the fact that I payed so much money for 1 night, we didn't have any toothpaste since we forgot. Furthermore we were told we have to buy it from the gift shop which didn't open until 9am. Very disappointed. I had to eat breakfast without brushing my teeth. I feel like there should be certain things at a 5 star all inclusive hotel since we're paying so much money for 1 night.
The environment was good. On the first day of arrival, the front desk said that there was an event to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the hotel, which must be attended by the family. We repeatedly asked whether consumption was needed and the answer was not needed, but it did not say what the event was. We will meet at the hotel lobby at 7:45 the next morning. When we put our passports in the room, we said that we would not participate anymore. The hotel did not agree, and then took us to the model room, which was their event. Let us do membership. A total of $ 13,900. We refused. In this regard, I have no good impression on this hotel! It is very friendly to the US and Canadian passports, and to the Chinese passport. If you want to go to Caribbean countries for vacation, Cuba is better.
Yes, one can locate a newer hotel with more amenities; however, S Hotel has everything needed to enjoy Jamaica within an easy commute. It is a Jamaican owned hotel staffed by locals. A wonderful selection of freshly prepared food and beverages were always available. Spa services were easily booked. Free and low-cost activities were available all day. There were very few service delays. While staff appreciated tips, one didn't feel obligated to carry cash. The hotel was safe for an all-girls' trip. We relaxed in the ocean, did water aerobics in the pool, attempted to learn Jamaican dance steps, learned about coffee and rum,...the experiences were varied and available. Go. Renew. Refresh.
Not the best experience at check in.
Rooms were not ready for us and many other guests. No towels available before and after we went to the beach.
The customer service however was awesome. The employees did their best to make us comfortable in the situation.
The hotel itself was good. Food was ok.
The beach was good.
Be aware there is a cost for the chairs. Unfortunately we only got to use it for about an hour during our over night stay because it closed early and opened late.
This hotel need a lot of work. Air conditioner was so loud that I slept with ear plugs. The atV didn’t work in all three rooms used by my friends. There was a very bad odor from the sink. Reception area was so hot I felt sorry for the staff. The hotel is dated and need a lot of refurbishing.
Our stay in Montego Bay for half a month was really amazing and worth every penny. The staff are very friendly, kind, polite and helpful, which expresses our gratitude to us and we generously recommend it to the staff. Some of our favorite things are the cold wet towels on the beach, the fruit kebabs on the beach, and the staff came to clean our sunglasses on the beach. We also appreciated that the bed was rejected and the room was straightened at night. Turndown food accompanied by turndown is also very good. Compared to other beaches and escape bay beaches in the area, the beach is very clean. The breakfast buffet is very good. The food and drinks were very well prepared. This was the best holiday we have ever had.
Great little place 5 mins walk from Doctor Cave Beach. Lovely pool + pool bar. Simple good food at the restaurant, Clean simple room, shower in bath. Free parking. All round a good value for money choice.

GGuest UserThe room we had was very spacious and comfortable however, there were small insects in the rooms and the locks on two of the windows were broken. The restaurant service was extremely poor, it took over 1 hour to get our meal order, the portion of food served for breakfast was limited. Hair was on the fruit salad for 2 consecutive mornings.
Staff were very friendly especially Mrs Beverly. She was amazing!

JJacksonRosalynThis place is old and needs a complete renovation. My room was changed to one worse than what I had. There was dirt on the floor as you entered the room and there was hair on the floor in the bathroom and the tub was disgusting.

GGuest UserThe hotel was great value for the price, excellent location on the hip *****. If room is at the back then you’re away from the noise in the *****.
The only drawback is that the hotel does not provide access passes to Doctor’s Cave beach which a lot of the hotels in the area does. Harmony Beach Park is free and it’s an easy walk
