One of the best hotels that I stay at is Genting, The service was nice and easy to check in, I just have to go to the mailbox and take one access card. Before entering the security guard will guide us where to access and be so friendly. When I enter the lift. No need to press because it might not appear your number just scan and lift will automatically go to your floor.
If they can provide more plastic garbage for those staying 2 nights will be easy for us.
Other than that, nice view. Comfortable bed and provide cookware too so it's so convenient for those who want to cook.
I will definitely be coming back when I come to Genting Highland.
Loveeeeee love this hotel! Though it’s a bit high rise and need to be there at least before night time, for me i’m very happy to be surrounded by nature, the services are top notch then they upgrade us for a better room due to early check in and based on availability. The breakfast are pretty decent but the pastries options are very nice!
For our 50th wedding anniversary, we made a road trip around Malaysia that included a refreshing 2 night stay at this resort.
Its amenities were adequate to meet sunlovers’s thirst for the beach experience.
Room cleanliness, conceige service and facilities maintenance were also deserving for a 5 star rating.
On checking out, we realized there was a single long line for both checking in and checking out guests. This was a let down for us as we need to leave promptly for our next destination.
We could not understand why there was no dedicated check out lane counter that other international hotel chains have.
Otherwise, this would have been for us a perfect experience.
My friend and I each got a king room. Overall, the service and the hotel's garden design were excellent. The price is quite a good value for a villa-style resort of this caliber. There are gardeners maintaining the flowers and plants every day, creating a beautiful 'step-by-step changing scenery' effect. The only minor downside is that some facilities are a bit old, but any issues we raised were immediately resolved. The front desk staff had a slight accent, but for anyone who understands English, communication was perfectly fine.
There's a private beach area upfront where you can relax and watch the sea, which was a really nice touch. There are also cute little cats in the courtyard that will interact and play with you.
Impressive view, nice facility with satisfactory upkeep, responsive customer service, room unit generally OK, but public area cleanliness is rather poor (not operator fault though).
Need own transport to reach the hotel
I recently stayed at 1001 Nights Hotel and had a pleasant experience. The hotel is located in a convenient area with easy access to restaurants, convenience stores, and attractions around Genting Highlands.
The room was clean, comfortable, and suitable for a short stay. The bed was comfortable, and basic amenities were provided. The staff were friendly and helpful during check-in and throughout the stay.
One of the best things about this hotel is its affordable price compared to many other hotels in the Genting area. The cool mountain weather also made the stay enjoyable.
The only downside was that parking can be limited during busy periods, and the room size may feel a bit small for larger families.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel to travelers looking for a clean, budget-friendly place to stay near Genting Highlands.
This is our first time staying at this hotel and dare I say, it was one of the best 5-star hotels I’ve been in. Will definitely, definitely come again. Everything and everyone were wonderful. The room was so squeaky clean and no speck of dusts anywhere. The bathroom’s design was top notch I love every inch of it. And the room had carpet-floor which made it easier and less painful for my baby to crawl around. The view was to die for. Very secluded and private and calm. Okay now the breakfast, heads off to the chef, the foods were amazing. I think this hotel has been here for quite a while now but they had managed to maintain and made it look like brand new. Two things I wanna suggest a bit, maybe can provide a prayer mat for the muslims or the front desk maybe should ask first whether we need any prayer mats, that would’ve been nice. One other thing, during breakfast, maybe can make sure the utensils are more accessible rather than upon request cause each table was provided with limited number of spoons and forks. But yeah other than that, everything was perfect from the beginning till the end. Huge thanks to Mark as well cause he did a wonderful job assisting us to our room and everything. Kudos to every staffs here, they were so nice and helpful. Oh yeah almost forgot about the welcome drinks, they were absolute perfect thank you so much. Will come again and again. Best hotel here.
The villa was cool and the staffs are all friendly and cater to our request. The overall ambiance is so comfortable and definitely worth a visit for families to relax and spending time together
A great option for a quick getaway from KL. The check-in process is a bit different as there is no counter, you’ll need to call upon arrival and the person in charge will meet you at the lobby. A cash deposit is required for the access cards. For check-out, you simply leave the access cards in the room, take a photo, and leave the door open. The deposit is refunded on the same day via bank transfer. Also, you don’t need the access card when exiting the car park.
The room is clean and with modern design. We enjoyed the warm water jacuzzi and sauna.
There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby (99 Speedmart, 7-Eleven, FamilyMart), so it’s easy to find food.
Hotel was great and room was comfy! The staff at the concierge was warm and friendly. Ariff was his name. Free parking was an annoyance as it was in a separate block. You either end up taking lifts and moving several towers to get to the place, and signage was poor so you might get a little lost initially. Or just walk outside and skip the confusion and lift waiting. just pay for parking outside the unit to avoid all these hassle. The free onsen for those who stay there was good, albeit one of the pool was being maintained. Wished it was a bit more open air and authentic in design. Again, staff here is really friendly to explain and help.

GGuest UserThis was our 1st stay in the resort and it turned out to an interesting & awesome experience!
We checked-in on 11th of March & checked-out on 13th of March. I booked a 2-single bed room but the hotel given us a king bed room at the upper floor. After talking to the front desk. I was told only king bed room was available. However, my wife didn't have a good night sleep as she was having light sleep, so easily waken-up due to noise & movement. The upper floor somehow was noisy due to the traffic outside the hotel. We have no choice but to feedback to the hotel manager on the 2nd day. The manager Ms Su was kind enough and upgraded us to a 2 bedroom suite on the ground floor, with 2 single beds & a king bed. That made our 2nd night slept peacefully. Thanks Ms Su of her attentiveness.
The morning breakfast was a ala carte menu of Malaysian & western cuisine. Not a fantastic food but the service given by the professional F&B staffs made the experience so pleasant! Sincere thanks to F&B supervisor Santhosh & staff Myint of their attentive service.
MMarina YoshiOne-night last-minute stay at The Kasturi Resort, Cherating with my husband and two kids. First time here and overall satisfied. Calm, relaxing resort and we enjoyed the spa. However, there is no kids’ club, so it may be better suited for couples or families whose kids enjoy quieter activities. Still a pleasant and refreshing short stay.

IIftekhar SalamThis was my second stay at the resort, and once again, I had a great experience. The location is excellent, with beautiful surroundings, and the staff were friendly and very helpful throughout our stay.
The resort has two restaurants, although the Thai restaurant was closed during our visit. The Jetty Paya restaurant is just outside the main gate and can be easily reached by buggy. The Sarang Seafood restaurant is about 2 km from the resort, and a return taxi fare is around RM50.
Snorkeling trips to Coral Island, Renggis Island, and the marine park, as well as taxi services for going to restaurants, can all be organized through the hotel. You can also visit the marine park by taxi (suitable if traveling with senior citizens), which costs around RM100–150. Activities within the resort includes a game zone for kids, gym, pool table (4RM per game), bicycling, and kayaking. We appreciated the complimentary 1-hour bicycle ride provided by the staff.
Breakfast was decent, but it would be even better with a wider variety of options. The room includes all the necessary amenities, but could be more modernized to better match the overall resort experience. The resort provided a complimentary minibar in two of the three rooms we booked, which was a nice added touch.
Overall, it was another enjoyable stay, and I would definitely consider coming back again.
