Went there for our honeymoon, and the partial ocean view was actually better than I expected! The room condition itself was all fine, but the bathroom was the worst! It's a dry bathroom, but there's no shower door or curtain in the shower stall, so it literally floods... I almost slipped several times in the bathroom. And the towel rack is right above the toilet, so you can't even hang towels there. There's some kind of hook by the door, but how are you supposed to hang all your towels there? Also, for honeymoons, everyone usually gets welcome gifts and decorations... but after checking in, there was nothing. When I asked at the info desk, they said it's something they do after you've stayed one night, on the evening of the next day or something. They just brushed me off, and there was nothing at all during our entire stay. When I mentioned these issues at checkout, they gave me a box of cookies, but it felt like I was being treated as a difficult customer... Anyway, aside from these problems, it wasn't bad, and Hawaii itself was absolutely wonderful!

The room comes with a kitchen, fully equipped with cookware, glassware, tea sets, a microwave, induction hob, juicer, and even a rice dispenser. They even give you a sports water bottle, which is super thoughtful for all the water activities. The hotel is right by a fantastic beach and a prime shopping area. The service is incredibly nice too; they offer free valet parking. When we came back to the hotel with lots of shopping bags, the staff had big shopping bags ready for us at the entrance. Such small details show how much thought they put into everything. It's really excellent!

1) The escalator leading from the lobby to the mezzanine level was out of order. Given the makeshift barrier on the mezzanine level, it looked like the escalator had been out of commission for some time. Quite a shame from a convenience standpoint. 2) I had checked into the hotel after midnight because of a flight delay so I was pretty exhausted and fell asleep quickly after taking a shower, brushing my teeth, etc. I woke up in the middle of my first night's stay noticing a foul odor. After walking around the room and initially thinking it was coming from the A/C vent, I pinpointed the origin of the bad smell to the linens: the pillowcases, sheets, blanket. It smelled like a dirty wet sponge or clothes that never dried completely but were put back in the dresser drawer. I pulled all of the linens off the bed and left a note for housekeeping to replace them because of a foul odor. They did and it was fine the rest of my stay, but the point is I never should have had to do that. 3) Upon returning from my uncle's funeral Saturday night, to my dismay I found 20-30 cars that had been double-parked by the valets in the hotel parking lot. After circling the lot several times in the hopes of catching someone leaving but having no success, I decided to look into valet parking, figuring that since I was a hotel guest they would have something worked out. When the valet told me the valet fee was $49 even for hotel guests I was flabbergasted and declined. He instructed me to go back to the parking garage and speak to the parking attendant to ask about my parking options. When I got there, the parking attendant initially refused to come out of his booth to help me so I had to enter the garage, go all the way around to the exit and talk to him so that he didn't have to leave his booth. He pointed at a white car parked outside and told me to look for parking ”around there.” I asked him if that was assigned to the hotel, because I did not want to wake up tomorrow morning to discover that my rental car had been towed or impounded. He did not convince me that this was not a possibility so I parked the car where he instructed me to, took photos of the area, and went to the hotel registration desk to look further into the parking situation. The signage was also not clear. When I got to the registration desk, I was helped by an employee who seemed to have a French accent. He was definitely European, with very short hair. I explained what had just happened with the parking and he told me that the hotel did not have ”jurisdiction” over that parking area and he could not guarantee me that my car would not be towed. There happened to be another employee, a local guy, just finishing a transaction with a hotel guest so I moved one station over and asked him the same question. He clarified the situation and explained that that outside parking area (in the middle, under the ramp) was overflow parking for the hotel, and, as long as my hotel parking pass was clearly displayed, my car could remain there for the duration of my stay.

Had a solo day trip and wanted to try Hotel La Croix because they had a penthouse room for under $300.  The front desk staff were helpful and very eager and upbeat in a friendly way compared to other places where it seemed more forced or fake.  Skyline Penthouse only had a city view and it was decent sized for the price. King sized bed with a massive tv across of it. Bathroom was around the corner of the tiny kitchenette area. My only complaint would be that the room did need some touching up. For example the manually operated push button curtains were frayed, torn and crumpled in some areas which were noticeable.  The bathroom though clean, had some wear on the sink’s finish and there was a flapping panel on the wall near the toilet. Minor things but it didn’t help make the penthouse seem as exclusive.  Location wise though it is walking distance to high end shopping, restaurants and the beach. It’s adjacent to more expensive hotels like the Ritz Carlton, so it’s a budget option in a great spot without having to break the bank for rooms.

There were many Japanese speaking staff, the service was very good, the rooms were clean and the layout was easy to use, and the location was excellent! I stayed for 4 nights, but it was a little disappointing that no new amenities were provided each time (such as cotton swabs).

Amazing hotel location for the price! 5 minutes walk to the beach, big rooms, lovely queen size beds, and there were so many free services and lessons for the Christmas season. You can borrow a free surf board / beach chair and all, which is really useful considering the ridiculous prices for their rental at the beach! We stayed here for 11 nights and loved our stay. Huge shoutout to Magdalena for being an amazing housekeeper and really doing such a good job everyday, as well as the two F&B director and manager who were conducting all the free Christmas classes, from poke bowl making to cocktail mixing and gingerbread house design. We had a lot of fun!

The location was very good. There was an ABC Store within a 5-minute walk and many restaurants. The view was also very nice as it was right in front of the sea. Unfortunately, the room was terrible. When I went to sleep at night, a cockroach came out from the bed. I tried to do something about it but it escaped. It was late so I didn't tell the front desk and just put up with it that day, but I was worried and couldn't sleep very well. In the morning, another cockroach came out from the sink. It was too much for me, so I told the front desk, and they replied very casually, ”Oh, really? Then would you like to change rooms?” I was very curious and asked, ”Do they come out often?” They replied, ”No, they don't come out,” which was a bit of a shock. It's not a cheap hotel, and it's a very popular hotel, so I'm disappointed that they had such an attitude. After that, I was moved to another room, but it was a hassle to move even though I was originally staying for 2 nights, and I was worried that there would be cockroaches even if I moved. I honestly didn't like their attitude of ”I'm sorry.” All the other staff were nice and said hello, but I really didn't like the room. And it was twice as old as you'd think. I'd like to believe I was just unlucky, but I was worried. I think it would be reassuring to bring something to protect against cockroaches, etc.

The Rainbow Towers are split into several buildings, and our room was right by the sea, which was great. The beach is literally downstairs. However, the cleaning staff started cleaning at 8 or 9 AM every day, which really disturbed our sleep. If you like to sleep in, you might want to hang a 'do not disturb' sign beforehand. Overall, it was a pretty good experience.

The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with all the amenities you'd expect from a hotel of this caliber. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I appreciated the quality linens and the range of pillows available. The bathroom was modern with a powerful shower and plenty of toiletries. The only minor downside was the view – I had a room overlooking the parking lot, but that didn’t detract from the overall comfort of the stay.

CcrenminThe whole resort has a very good atmosphere. You can watch the sunset. There is also a saltwater lake where you can go snorkeling. You can see turtles at the shallow end, and you can also see a lot of fish, tropical fish, and dolphins. There is also a large swimming pool. The holiday atmosphere is superb. It’s just that there are small flying insects in our room, which is annoying. In addition, the house is old and the facilities are old.

3333ひろ333I was surprised at how big the resort hotel was. There was a tram, but no boats. The service to make inquiries in Japanese ended in March. The shuttle bus to the nearby shopping mall was $5 one way, so I walked there (just over 20 minutes). The room was spacious, but the water flow in the bathtub was not so good. From the room, you could see the golf course and the sea. The grounds are large, so I got up early in the morning and took a walk, which felt great. The best spots to see the sunset were written on the map of the grounds, so I was able to see a really beautiful sunset. There were sea turtles and dolphins, and a fun pool, so I had a wonderful time.
