The location is excellent, very close to Qingyun Market. The hotel itself is a bit old, but the rooms are spacious and the amenities are very complete. Notably, the elevator speed is the fastest and smoothest I've experienced in a hotel recently. They even have robots that deliver items, which is a dream come true for introverts and the socially anxious. During check-in, the front desk upgraded my room. The housekeeping aunt noticed I drank a lot of water and immediately brought several extra bottles, as if worried I'd be thirsty. All the hotel staff were incredibly warm and proactive. They even put together a list of great local eateries nearby! 😂

I stayed at the Guizhou Hotel VIP Building for two nights. I arrived late at night, and seeing my weary face, lobby manager Mei'ao proactively offered me a bottle of warm water, which instantly relieved much of my travel fatigue. Front desk staffer Yang Shiting quickly verified my order, and noticing I was traveling with an elder, she thoughtfully arranged a room closer to the elevator for convenience, which I found particularly touching. When we returned and chose the VIP Building without hesitation again, I was pleasantly surprised to see Shiting and Manager Mei'ao once more. What truly amazed me was that they remembered me and said 'welcome home,' making me feel incredibly warm, like I was truly home. I especially loved the tea station in the lobby; it was very refreshing. When I checked out, Xiao Shi handled the process. My car was already waiting outside, and with very little time, I realized I had left my ID in the room. Knowing this, Xiao Shi immediately went to retrieve it for me, telling me not to worry and to take care of the elder in the lobby. I was genuinely moved. The next time I come to Guiyang, I will definitely stay here again.

Facilities: The hotel's facilities are comprehensive and of good quality. I especially want to commend the room key system – you can download an app on your phone and use Bluetooth to unlock the door, and your room number is also visible on the app. Another great feature is the TV; you can cast from any phone without any extra charges. The hotel also boasts a KTV, chess and card rooms, electric vehicle slow-charging stations, a coffee shop, a cocktail bar, a kids' playground, and a restaurant (with private rooms), making it very well-equipped. Cleanliness: Absolutely spotless, meeting five-star hotel standards. The linens and other soft furnishings were excellent. However, if you plan to use the outdoor bathtub, I'd recommend asking for it to be disinfected, as it is outdoors. Environment: It's very close to the entrance of the Huangguoshu Waterfall scenic area. The view from the hotel, though, is a bit underwhelming, but it's not a major issue. There's a large lawn with a small children's playground, perfect for families. Rooms facing the road can be noisy due to passing trucks, so light sleepers might want to avoid those. Since it was off-season, the hotel offered us a room upgrade, which was a very thoughtful touch. Service: When we first arrived, we hadn't booked a room and wanted to see the rooms first. The front desk staff were very welcoming and kindly showed us around. They didn't show any displeasure when we mentioned we wanted to compare with other hotels. When we decided to check in, the front desk attendant came out from behind the counter to assist us. Our luggage was carried all the way to our room. During check-out in the morning, the cleaning staff we encountered were all smiling and responsive. The management is excellent, and the training is clearly very thorough.

It was a breeze to check in from the time we arrived, even when we arrived before the check-in time. We were also upgraded to a lovely room with a view. Our booking didn't come with breakfast but not to worry as the area is filled with food options - Mcdonalds and KFC just across the street if you are being safe but then there are MANY other local food options that we couldn't decide what to eat. It was walking distance to the the Jiaxiu pavillion and the Wenchangge pavillion. There was also a nearby pedestrian street food area which was really convenient as well. Check out was also smooth with the refund for the deposit coming in within 30 minutes (using WeChat). Would definitely come back and recommend to others as well.

This five-diamond hotel, listed on Ctrip's hotel ranking and one of the top hotels in Tongren, turned out to be incredibly disappointing! First, let's talk about the positives: the overall environment was indeed good. We stayed in the garden view building, and it offered great photo opportunities outside. The room facilities and equipment were fine, and there was plenty of hot water. However, there were just too many downsides! 1. When we booked, our first choice was a twin room. Since only the Suzhou-style garden twin room was available that day, we booked it. Upon arriving in Tongren, we took a taxi following the navigation, only to find a long flight of stairs at the hotel entrance with no bellhop in sight. It was hot, and we had two suitcases. I went up to call for help, and there was only one person at the front desk who said I had to wait. It was a peak season during a short holiday, so why weren't enough staff arranged? Did it seem like the occupancy rate was very low?! Okay, after struggling to carry our two suitcases up, suddenly there were two people at the front desk... Then the front desk staff started scanning our IDs. It turned out our Suzhou-style garden room was in a different area (Hilton Garden Inn)! Why wasn't this marked on the Ctrip homepage??? If it had been, I wouldn't have gone to the wrong place!! Upon arriving at the Hilton Garden Inn, they scanned our IDs again. Do we really need to scan them twice? 2. Consequently, the takeout we ordered in advance was delivered to the Fengqi front desk. They said they would send it to the Garden Inn. After waiting for over half an hour with no delivery, I called again to inquire. They said there was no one at the front desk, so I had to go down and get it myself. When I got there, I saw three people at the front desk. So, this is what 'no one at the front desk' means?? They then claimed the two other staff members had just returned. Yes, I must have such 'good' luck? 3. The booking included breakfast, Hanfu experience, and a boat tour discount, but none of this was mentioned during check-in. I had to ask about everything. Where was your service? 4. The handheld shower in the room was broken. Don't your engineering staff conduct regular room inspections? Is the MOD duty manager too idle? As a resort-style hotel with clear peak and off-peak seasons, are you just playing around by not conducting room inspections and repairs during the off-peak season? Does Hilton know that one of its mid-range hotels offers this kind of service? The first impression I got in Tongren was extremely bad! It ruined my entire mood for the trip! I am truly speechless!!!

The location is excellent, in the heart of the city; there are plenty of parking spaces, so driving is worry-free; the breakfast has a rich variety; I was worried that the equipment and facilities would be old, but the actual experience shows that the hotel has spent some effort on maintenance, and it is clean and comfortable; finally, let me talk about the service. The day of check-in happened to be a family member's birthday, and the young lady who checked me in was very attentive, and immediately sent blessings and small surprises. The glasses brother in the hotel's Chinese restaurant also gave me a very warm reception, which left a brilliant impression and memory for me and my family.

Coming to this Dong village for Chinese New Year, I didn't even consider other places and chose this one without hesitation. It really didn't disappoint; it was absolutely stunning. Every evening there was a performance of the Dong Grand Song. Since we checked in on New Year's Eve, the hotel even arranged a New Year's Eve dinner and had handmade dumplings. For someone from the North, the dumplings might not be the absolute best, but being able to eat handmade dumplings in a southern village on New Year's Eve really showed the owner's thoughtful attention to detail.

True to its reputation as a national treasure! Even before arriving, service manager Xiao Yuan proactively reached out to arrange our room and sent us a travel guide. The hotel's breakfast selection and quality far exceeded our expectations. We even got to try the complimentary Maotai ice cream, which thrilled the kids. Renhuai, the 'Wine Capital of China,' was historically a bustling hub for merchants, and this was our first visit. The hotel's warm service and thoughtful greetings truly showcase the excellence of a top-tier domestic brand in both hardware and software. It's a shame we only stayed one night; next time, we'll definitely extend our stay for a few more days. We'll be back, full of praise for Maotai Hotel and our fondness for酱香 (Jiangxiang) liquor!

Stayed at this hotel for one night, and it far exceeded my expectations! What surprised me the most was the room's amenities. First, the DeRUCCI mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm, with excellent support. My whole body relaxed as soon as I lay down, and I slept soundly until morning. As someone who usually experiences back pain, I felt no discomfort at all. Second, the Laifen hairdryer was fantastic; it had a powerful airflow and dried my hair quickly, leaving it smooth and frizz-free. It's better than many hairdryers I've used in five-star hotels. These two details alone show how much thought the hotel puts into its service. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in the area!

The hotel upgraded me to an executive suite for free. The facilities were complete and very clean, and the environment was tidy. It was very hot the day I arrived, and the staff brought over a fan, which I appreciated. The hotel also offers afternoon tea and light meals in the evening on the top floor. I'm very satisfied and will definitely stay at Kempinski again if I have the chance.
