Do drop by if you are nearby in spring! The cherry blossom trees are plentiful and dense. Winds are strong too so be ready for petal rain!

The sloped railway line is near the Kyoto Metro East-West Line station (about a minute walk). It is a scrap railway that was originally shipped. Around 90 cherry blossom trees were planted on the second side of the line, forming a cherry blossom tunnel of more than 500 meters. Every year when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, many tourists come to watch it. Especially those young girls who like animation are nostalgic here.

The abandoned railways and cherry blossoms are interspersed here, and the combination of rigid and softness complements many new Japanese couples taking wedding photos here. Tips: Although the entire railway is only more than 500 meters long and looks quite short, because the railway is covered with small gravel, it is full of malice for those of us wearing rafts. Please be careful with every step when you leave. Transportation: Kyoto Metro East-West Line-Sapporo Station is only a3-4 minute walk away. Free all day.

From the subway station to the East-West line 6 stations on the road to the Cuba. Out of Gate 1 is the slope. Cherry trees were planted on both sides of the railway slope. Cherry blossoms should look good when they are in full bloom. But we're still early, so we only saw a lot of cherry blossoms. From the slope to the bottom, we can reach Nanchan Temple, which is not far from Yinge Temple and the way of philosophy. This railway was not used to drive trains, but to transport materials when Japan built its first hydropower station. There is a memorial to a hydropower station just below the slope. If there's time here, it's worth spending some time.

The inclined railway was laid in Meiji period. It is 582 meters long. Now it has been abandoned and designated as a national historic site. At that time, the ship was transported on a track with a height drop of 36 meters. In that year, along the route from Dajin to Kyoto, there were two sections of the water route of Biwa Lake, which had a large drop. Railway must be relied on to assist the transport of materials. On both sides of the railway, there are about 90 dyeing wells in full bloom. The trail is very short. You can walk along the railway and enjoy cherries at the same time. The best place to take a picture of the railway is, of course, to squat down and take pictures of the railway and cherry blossoms. Unfortunately, it is a "more people destroy all" scenic spot, even if only three or two unrelated passers-by into the painting is still very destructive picture. I can't help but imagine how beautiful it would be if there were no one on this road.
