Whitby Abbey

The ruins of the monastery stand alone on the cliff. When Bram Stoker saw it, it must have been in such a dilapidated state, gazing at the northern coastline. The towering columns and famous rib arches are majestic and profound, silently telling us what happened in the past.

Saltburn Beach

Saltburn is really beautiful and very close to Durham. It is especially suitable for a day trip to the beach on weekends. You can walk on the clean beach, take the boat up and down the beach, listen to the white noise of the waves, and play with the dogs. I am very yearning for it. Very beautiful.

Edinburgh Castle

The magnificent castle embodies the history, culture, and glory of Scotland. The visitor pathways and signage were well-organized, and there was even an audio guide in Mandarin, which allowed tourists like us who don't speak English to gain a deeper understanding of the castle. The staff at the visitor center were warm and attentive, and the police officers in the square outside the castle were friendly and responsible, helping me find my lost wife.

Danby Lodge National Park Centre

York is really a model student in rural landscape. The place we are in is called Moors, which means wasteland or high moor. The story of "Wuthering Heights" takes place here. Purple heather covers a large area of land, which is desolate and beautiful as far as the eye can see, forming a sharp transition with the green land at low altitude. Heather is really a plant with tenacious vitality. Not only can it adapt to barren land, but it can also withstand cold and heavy metal pollution.
