春日局の菩提寺

こちらは本郷三丁目駅から御徒町方面に春日通り沿いに約5分ほどにある臨済宗妙心寺派の寺院です。（徳川家光の乳母として知られる春日局の菩提寺だそうです） 境内は緑いっぱいで静かでいい感じでした。

春日局の立派な墓

｢東洋大学発祥の地碑｣もありました。でも春日局の墓所が一番ですね。対になった石燈籠や玉垣もあってとても立派な造りです。
