佳小姐的环球旅行:“The southernmost tip of the mainland, this place is worth checking in.
It is recommended to go in the morning to see the blue sea and blue sky, and the invincible glass sea. The tide starts to ebb in the afternoon, and it is backlit, so you can't see the blue sea.
The coffee under the tree next to it is the best check-in point, the best viewing point for sunrise and sunset. It is recommended to stay for a day, especially suitable for traveling with the whole family.
The scenic area is a free attraction. Cars can be parked on the roadside on holidays. There are simple food nearby, mainly snacks.”
D了个Y:“For Chinese pineapples, look to Guangdong. For Guangdong pineapples, look to Xuwen.
Xuwen County is the largest pineapple producing area in China, with a planting area of about 350,000 mu and an annual harvest of more than 700,000 tons, accounting for 40% of the country's pineapple production.
|The Sea of Pineapples^ is an outstanding representative of this, integrating new tourism concepts. It is a great place to get close to nature and walk into pineapples.
There are many pineapple products here. Pineapple dried pineapples, pineapple slices, pineapple juice and even whole pineapples are must-have specialties. The whole box is also free shipping. The price is really cheap.”
仙湖晚霞:“Dengloujiao is indeed famous, and the natural scenery is also beautiful! It's just that it's under renovation everywhere, and it feels like there are few parking spaces in the scenic area! The roads are crowded! It should be more beautiful if it is well built and managed!”
小龙女SMXY:“Xuwen Port, namely the site of the ancient Xuwen Port, is located in Erqiao, Nanwan and Shiwei Village in Wuli Township, southwest of Xuwen County. Since the 1960s, a large number of Han tombs have been discovered in villages and fields along the southwest coast of Xuwen, mainly in Huafengling, Dahuang Township, and a large number of pottery, steelware and beads have been unearthed. According to the "Book of Han", Xuwen Port is the starting port of the "Silk Road" on the sea. In recent years, a large number of archaeological works have confirmed that Xuwen County, Zhanjiang is the location of Xuwen Port.

Geographic location
In November 1993, experts from the Guangdong Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology discovered a large range of Han Dynasty living sites in Erqiao and Shiwei Village, Wuli Township, Xuwen County through large-scale exploration, thus proving that this is the location of Xuwen County in the Han Dynasty and the site of Xuwen Port.
Archaeological discoveries
① The Han Dynasty ancient port living site area is located in the middle and eastern part of Erqiao and Nanwan Village to the north of Shiwei Village, with a strip distribution and an area of about 50,000 square meters.
The ruins of the Han Xuwen Castle Wall: Located on the cliff of the high platform in the west of Erqiao Village, Wuli Township, facing Gangtou Bay, with a drop of about ten meters, a total length of more than 500 meters, and a surface area of more than 200,000 square meters. Various Han pottery and tile fragments are scattered on the surface, and obvious rammed earth layers of mud, sand and stone are found on the cliff.
Bagua navigation lamp holder: Located on the high cliff of Shiwei Ridge in the north of Shiwei Village, Wuli Township, less than 10 meters from the bay. The seat is carved from a natural boulder, octagonal, 2 meters in diameter and 40 centimeters deep. The octagonal corners are decorated with Bagua patterns. It is a typical navigation lamp holder of the Han and Tang Dynasties.
② The Han Dynasty burial area is located in the back Donggang Ridge of Erqiao Nanwan Village to Nagan Village, mainly single-chamber vaulted tombs and earth pit tombs.
Natural landscape
① Yingdao Lianbi: Sandun, formed by three islands in a row on the sea, was called "Xiaolianshan" in ancient times and is one of the eight scenic spots in Zhanjiang. The three small islands form a natural barrier for the ancient port. There are freshwater wells on the islands. The "Xuwen County Chronicles" in the third year of Xuantong in the Qing Dynasty recorded: "There are three piers in front of the sea, and there is a freshwater well called Longquan in the middle. When praying for rain during drought, take a spoonful of water from this well, and sweet rain will come immediately."
② Shiwei Mangrove: Along the Nanshan to Shiwei Weir, the area is more than 1,000 acres, shaded by green trees, and flocks of seabirds. It is famous for producing "Ganxie Eel", "Ganxie Crab", "Sweet Snail" and "Red Minnow".
③ Nanshan Coconut Grove: In Nanshanxia Village, the area is about 20,000 square meters, with coconut breeze and sea rhyme, chicken sounds and thatched houses, and a unique coastal fishing village style.
Transportation: Take a bus from Zhanjiang Bus Terminal to Xuwen County, and then transfer or charter a car to go there.

游侠半仙:“Go to Hainan for winter, come to Xuwen Hai'an New Port (ferry station), take a ferry to Haikou.
[Scenery] Qiongzhou Strait at night.
[Fun] Rest on the boat.
[Cost-effective] High!”
木易真人:“Xuwen Coral Reef National Reserve is located in Jiaowei Township, Xuwen County, Zhanjiang. There is a coral museum and a coral hall here. The entrance fee to the reserve is 30 yuan. Various coral specimens are exhibited in the museum, which is very beautiful; there are several large sea turtles swimming in the large pool in the coral hall, and live corals are kept in the large fish tank. On the day we went there, there was no electricity and no oxygen could be added, so the live corals were all in a dormant state.
There are wooden planks and small pavilions on the seaside of the reserve. The white lighthouse, golden beach, blue sky, and floating white clouds are really refreshing. Sitting in a small pavilion by the sea and drinking tea in a daze should be a good way to relax. There is a tourist center in Jiaowei Township, but it is not open. There are many homestays and fishing houses in the village. The conditions look good and it seems that there are tourists staying. You can consider staying here for a few days next time.
Because the ecological environment of corals is very fragile, the country currently does not allow tourists to go to the sea to see corals from a protection perspective. Locals say that you can rent fishermen's small fishing boats to go to the sea to see corals at low tide, about 200 yuan per boat. The state has regulations, and citizens should abide by them. It is better not to go and disturb the peaceful life of corals. There are many coral fragments washed up by the waves on the beach. Friends who like it can pick them up on the beach to appreciate.”
洞庭春秋:“The beauty of Xuwen lies in its greenness. Elegant environment is the criterion for judging the quality of greening construction projects. The blue sea water of Xuwen is the best explanation of environmental governance. A green home is the hard truth.”
酱螽:“- Architectural Aesthetics Exploration: Starting from the Zhongshan Road Archway, stroll along the 400-meter core street and admire the 176 arcades, each featuring a blend of Chinese and Western styles and colored porcelain reliefs. Look for distinctive elements like phoenix-carved windows and Baroque arched doors, and head to the third-floor terrace of Shangnan Hall at the entrance of Shuixiangkou for a panoramic view of the street.”
xierita:“This time, the southernmost part of the mainland is also considered to be successful. Mother has seen the documentary of home in the distance, and she is very happy to walk along the beach here by herself this time. On the other side of the sea is Hainan, our next stop.”
建筑工人老卢:“It's quite fun inside, especially the deep pit. In addition, the cotton candy machine is particularly attractive to children. The cotton candies that come out are also in many colors. The children like it very much and eat it like a little cat.”
Where to Stay

Alejandro:“The hotel is not bad, the room is actually pretty good, you get your own mini swimming pool, however there are 2 things I was very unhappy with. First, the swimming pool floor and walls felt slimy, so the feeling while swimming we wasn't very pleasant. The natural pool the room is connected to my stairs is not really clean and you are recommended to not swim in there, so if you're thinking you'll get some sort of private beach, you won't, it's dirty. Everything else was fine. Breakfast is what they give you, so you have no choices and you better drive a car because other food options are not close. Your dog is allowed to be with you, that's a big pro and the room had a little yard which made conviennent for us having a dog with us.”
Guest User:“The hotel is a good choice for people traveling to Hainan, if you don’t mind the surroundings - it’s all industrial, trucks everywhere. Room was clean, but I could smell the cigarettes the moment I entered the room. Breakfast was ok, bad coffee (no coffee machine).”
Samuel cc:“"This is an absolutely perfect hotel that exceeds all expectations! Every corner radiates immaculate elegance, from the grand lobby to the meticulously designed guest rooms. The reception ladies exemplify warm hospitality - their graceful presence and polite eye contact never waver, whether during bustling check-ins or quiet night shifts.
A special tribute to Chef Wang in the dining area, whose exceptional service truly elevates the experience. His remarkable talent for anticipating guests' preferences and delivering personalized care (a stylish chef's uniform would perfectly complement his culinary artistry👨🍳) showcases true service excellence.
This establishment doesn't just meet standards - it creates cherished memories through every thoughtful detail. An unforgettable experience that redefines hospitality!"”
fly_me_to_the_moon:“"Maple walnut & bacon" has a sweet and salty taste, with lots of walnuts. The layers are distinct, to be honest, some people may not be used to it. The heart-shaped biscuits are chewy~
"Seaweed and pork floss" are freshly baked and are hot when you get them. Seaweed and pork floss are a popular combination in recent years. They are combined with heart-shaped biscuits. I personally think they are very good and highly recommended!”
M25***00:“It is such a blessing to be able to eat such authentic dumplings in Xuwen. The taste and appearance of the dishes are very good, the environment is clean and comfortable, and the service is warm and thoughtful. It is a restaurant worth recommending.”
M61***58:“
Day 1
1 After arriving in Xuwen, it is recommended to drink a bowl of cassava starch sugar water for 2 yuan per cup near the "Dengyun Tower" to cool off, and check in at the Xuwen landmark Dengyun Tower.
2. Stop by "Lao Zhou Wang" to eat a bowl of pickled noodles for 6 yuan.
3. After returning to the hotel at noon to put the luggage and take a short rest, go to
"Yixiao" in the afternoon to try a small sweet and sour and fried snails, as well as the barbecue from the decades-old store next door, grilled chicken wings are a must!
4. For dinner, I personally recommend that you try the "Yan Congee Shop on Datie Street" (this is a real old mutton porridge shop opened by my father when he was a child)
5. After 6 pm or at midnight, you can go to the "Yizhong Snack Street", grilled oysters, corn cakes, Zhangji octopus balls, etc. are all recommended!
Day 2
1. For breakfast, I recommend trying the spicy chicken soup noodles or dry fried rice noodles at "Yili Breakfast Shop"
2. If you want to check in for Xuguo-labeled drinks, if you want to sit and rest, you can go to "Laowu Coffee". If you want to check in for photos of Xuwen-labeled drinks, it is recommended to go to the "Iced Lemon Tea" shop near Dengyun Tower (affordable).
3. Before going back to Haikou, you can try the duck at Zhouji Duck Shop
and the egg yolk barbecued pork, and you can go home super satisfied~”
世界那么大可我只想走遍中国:“I went to see Dengyun Tower and found many mutton porridge shops nearby. My intuition told me that this should be the specialty of Xuwen. I randomly found this small shop. The environment is average (it seems to be similar in this area), and the supply is simple, mainly mutton and mutton. Mutton is sold by weight (it seems to be more than 100 yuan per pound? I didn't hear it clearly), and I asked the store to cut it for 20 yuan. There are also mutton porridge and soybean soup. The mutton looks like white porridge, but it is actually cooked in mutton soup. It is a bit salty, but not smelly. The mutton tastes very fragrant and has no smell of mutton. The meat is firm, the skin is crispy and tough, and there is almost no fat. It is completely different from the soft and tender mutton elsewhere, but it tastes more and more fragrant.”
