One of the largest hotels in Belize City, there is also a cinema and amusement park on the first floor. The food is relatively average, and the room facilities are a bit old but acceptable. There is also a place downstairs where you can book tours. If you come to Belize, you can consider staying here.
The hotel needs a bit of TLC,repair locks on doors to rooms and re -fix plug socket to wall.
Some staff not friendly or helpful at all.
We asked for a cup of ice and were told to wait until the bar opened!
The room was spacious and clean, but the room was not cleaned in time. The roof terrace can see the sea from a distance and relax. The beach on the island is full of stinky seaweed that cannot swim unless you go to the beach north of the island (the actual sea water is also average), it is best to go out to sea. Fresh water on the island is all supplied by trucks and stored by water towers. The hotel has a slippery feeling after using water. I have tried two soaps and two hand sanitizers. I have also stayed in other hotels on the island and have not found this situation in water. It is estimated that the difference caused by the water delivery company. All in all, the hardware is OK, but the price is not high.
The jaguar bar is nice , I thought, I ate there the food was good, there was a pool I didn't use but there was people in it looks nice, would stay again
The hotel was expensive for what it offered. The shampoo and conditioner were not usable and very smelly. The lamp had mold on it. Bathroom tiles were broken.

It was a good stay overall. My only negative feedback was loud construction noise that occurred from 8 am to 5 pm daily due to the building renovations and expansions.
Hotel location is good, very close to the main street, not far from the boat pier, convenient life around, not noisy. There is a kettle in the room to boil water, there is a microwave and a small refrigerator, free bottled water is provided every day, and there is free water in the lobby to be connected with a kettle.
