We had a thoroughly pleasant and memorable four-night stay at the Harbin Habsburg Hotel. Our family room was incredibly spacious, and the facilities were top-notch, including the convenience of free laundry. The breakfast variety is impressive, especially with the extended service until 12:00 PM. Location was great too. 10 mins walk to central street.
The standout of our trip, however, was the staff—specifically the F&B Manager, Jenny Huang. She is a true asset to the hotel which she went above and beyond her service to hotel guess. After my son experienced a nosebleed due to the dry weather on our first day, Jenny remembered and took the time to personally check on his well-being. Knowing we had a 6:00 AM flight, she even proactively arranged a 'grab-and-go' breakfast for our family of four. Her attention to detail and genuine care for guests are remarkable.

Our family stayed in an 8-person room with one 'kang' (heated bed) and two large beds. The room was spacious and comfortable. Upon arriving in Snow Town, the hotel arranged for two young men to pick us up. They helped us with our luggage, guided us to the hotel for check-in, and escorted us to our room. Along the way, they also introduced us to many local spots and restaurants. We had the hotel's buffet dinner in the evening, which was 58 per person. For such a remote place like Snow Town, I think that's pretty good. The hotel service was excellent, and breakfast was included, served from 7 am to 8:30 am. If you want to eat, I recommend going early. We stayed in a stand-alone building located near the end of Xueyun Street, which made getting around very convenient. Snow Town isn't very big, and there's beautiful scenery everywhere, definitely worth a visit. I highly recommend this hotel! 👍

We highly recommend staying here! The accommodation looks exactly like the pictures, and it's incredibly clean with no cigarette smell. It's an easy walk from the village, not too far. Just walk straight from the entrance, take the first left after about 50 meters, then turn right for another 50 meters, and then left again for 50 meters, and you'll find the place on your right. There's a ski slope right next to it. They offer pickup and drop-off services and even laundry service. All amenities are complete. They also provided breakfast even though we had to leave very early in the morning, which was a simple but thoughtful meal. All the staff are lovely, and the room is beautiful with a fantastic, modern view. It's spotless! Overall, everything was excellent; we were very impressed and would love to come back again.

The room was much cleaner than I expected. The sheets and duvet covers had no strange smells, and even the grout in the bathroom tiles was spotless. Housekeeping was excellent, and the disposable toiletries were of high quality, making me feel very comfortable using them. The best part was the self-service breakfast; there was a good variety, and the service was impeccable! It really made me feel warm and welcome as a traveler.

The hotel is right near Central Street, so you can easily walk to the cathedral. Downstairs is very lively, with plenty of restaurants and small shops to explore. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities you'd need. It felt great, and was warm enough without even needing the heating on – I'd recommend bringing short sleeves to sleep in! The hotel service was excellent; they even gave us a complimentary late check-out. And when we checked out, they gave us a small souvenir keychain.

The hotel's location and room decor are absolutely superb! Turn right upon exiting, and you're right on Central Street, super close to Madieer Ice Cream (bought some immediately, of course!). The rooms are designed in a Russian aristocratic style, and they even offer costume rentals – the dresses are beautiful! You can put one on and head to the lobby or the hundred-year-old elevator for some amazing photo opportunities. The lady at the front desk was fantastic at taking pictures and helped me capture so many memorable shots. The guy was also quite entertaining; he readily shared stories about the hotel's history. Both helped me with my luggage when checking in and out (a real lifesaver, as my suitcase was heavy and the hotel entrance has steps – I couldn't have managed it alone!). A big thank you to the enthusiastic front desk staff! Oh, and I was lucky enough to get a room upgrade, which was a fantastic bonus!

If you're driving, I'd recommend taking the exit at Songbei (unless you want to photograph the start of G1), even though it's further, it avoids most of the city traffic, reducing the chance of getting stuck. The hotel environment is top-notch, and parking isn't an issue. You check in at the South Gate reception, and the North Gate leads directly to the south entrance/exit of the Harbin Ice and Snow World, about a 10-minute walk depending on your pace. It's very close to the Ferris wheel and the big stage, and I believe it's not far from the subway station either. Cleanliness is a given and was excellent. The room facilities are comprehensive. When ordering takeout, be aware of potential delays; in my case, there were no delivery riders available. I'm not sure if this was an isolated incident or a common problem. During the Ice and Snow Festival, room prices double, but for convenience, it's an excellent choice.
Harbin Ice and Snow World Adult Ticket - Standard Price: I booked the tickets with my room, and it was significantly cheaper than buying them separately. Important: remember to select your time slot when booking!

The hotel's location is very close to Central Street, making it convenient for sightseeing and shopping. The only downside is that the family room we booked was a bit small, and there was no door between the bathroom/shower entrance and the bedroom, which lacked a sense of privacy. Since the family room accommodates three people, I suggest providing three sets of water glasses and tooth-brushing cups, as there were only two in the room. Overall, the hotel is good, and I recommend improving some of these small details to enhance the guest experience!

The location is unbeatable! It's less than 100 steps to Central Street if you just turn right, and about 70 steps to the famous Laochu Restaurant, so you can wait for your table comfortably at the hotel. The service was excellent and very generous. Our room only included one breakfast, but the front desk graciously gifted breakfast for our whole family of three. And the breakfast was fantastic! They had freshly made rice noodles and wontons, as well as Guo Bao Rou (sweet and sour pork) and roasted lamb chops. The roasted lamb chops tasted even better than some specialized restaurants! The mini-bar was also very generous, even including Kvass. The afternoon tea was great too; we ate so much we couldn't even eat dinner. There's a row of cat houses outside the entrance, and according to the security guard, a cat used to live there, but it's apparently gone for Chinese New Year~
Extended my stay for another night, it was truly fantastic. Besides what I mentioned in my previous review, I also want to praise the hotel's views. The hotel itself is a very well-designed space, with a 'Harbin' sign photo wall at the entrance. The central courtyard features snowscapes and snowmen – perfect for photos! It's been a long time since I've encountered such a wonderful hotel!

GGuest UserThe stay was wonderful and very comfortable. The hotel was clean and well organised, and the staff were kind, professional, and welcoming.
Breakfast was excellent — the food was delicious and varied, with many options to choose from. The chef and the staff were very helpful and cooperative in explaining the dishes, which made the experience even better.
Thank you for the great hospitality. We truly enjoyed our stay and would be happy to visit again.
GGuest UserWe had a really lovely stay here! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well taken care of. The location is great too—close to recreational areas and some beautiful parks that are perfect for taking photos. Breakfast was nice and simple, just what we needed to start the day.
One small thing to note: the hot water for the shower and bathroom can run out if several people bathe in a row, so the next person might need to wait a bit for it to heat up again. It wasn’t a big issue, but good to keep in mind.
A special highlight of our trip was meeting the driver. He was incredibly kind—he picked us up and dropped us off at the station, and even took us to several places around the area. He also recommended some great local restaurants for lunch. His warm hospitality truly made our stay extra memorable.
AAnonymous UserThe location here isn't far from Central Street, making it easy to walk all the way to the Songhua River. For solo travelers, it's a great place to meet like-minded travel enthusiasts and create unforgettable memories.

YYanggaomeinvTraveling to Harbin with my child, our first stop was the Xana Hotel (Harbin Central Street Sophia Church). The hotel's location is perfect, situated in the middle-north section of Central Street, making it incredibly convenient for getting anywhere. Zhaolin Park is just 100 meters east, across the street, and the main Central Street is 50 meters west. St. Sophia Cathedral is about 500-800 meters away on foot. The hotel lobby was super cozy, offering a stamp check-in and afternoon tea. The staff provided excellent service. Since I hadn't planned my trip and decided to go last minute, I asked about Harbin's specialties. They even added me on WeChat and sent me a guide to dining, entertainment, and attractions around the hotel. The breakfast was incredibly rich, meeting all the nutritional needs (meat, eggs, milk, fruit) required for traveling with a child. On the day of check-out, I decided last minute to take some travel photos with my child near St. Sophia, which delayed our check-out time. The staff kindly extended our check-out until 2 PM for free. All in all, our first stop in Harbin made us feel so warm. If you're staying around Central Street, Xana is definitely the best choice!!! I've already recommended it to many friends since returning to Beijing. 😙😙😙

GGuest UserI extended my stay for another night because of the hotel's warm service. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful, and the housekeeping auntie was great too; she quickly resolved an issue we had with our room. Aside from that minor snag, the other facilities were excellent: smart toilet, humidifier, and a very comfortable mousse mattress. The breakfast was rich and exquisite, featuring steak, pan-fried sole, and many other buffet options, available until 10 AM, which is perfect for late risers. The afternoon tea also had a long service period and a wide variety of choices; I highly recommend their homemade yogurt, it's delicious and a great treat after a long day of sightseeing. We also tried the 'Guo Bao Rou' (sweet and sour pork) at Lao Chu Jia, a Northeastern specialty, and it was really good. Harbin Ice and Snow World, Saint Sophia Cathedral, and the Songhua River internet-famous bridge are all fantastic for photos and worth visiting. My trip this time was too short, and I didn't get to experience many things. If I have the chance to visit Harbin again, I'll definitely choose to stay here and explore more. I also missed out on trying Russian Western cuisine and the Hongzhuan Street morning market for an authentic taste of Harbin's local life – I'd go if I could wake up early! I'll be recommending this place to my family and friends.

Outstanding
__WeChat220370****Facilities: Transferring between elevators was a bit of a hassle, but they were reasonably fast. The room temperature was excellent.
Hygiene: The cleaning staff did an exceptional job; even a germaphobe couldn't find fault. The nightly turndown service was a nice touch.
Ambiance: Typical Ritz-Carlton standard. I didn't get a chance to try breakfast. The small lion display cabinet on the first floor was very unique. The sky lobby has a great location with beautiful views – probably one of the best high-altitude views among hotels in Harbin.
Service: There was an issue with my company's booking during check-in, but the front desk staff were consistently very helpful. Since I missed breakfast both days, they offered a BBR coffee experience voucher. The coffee was okay, but the cup was cute, and it came with a branded small scarf cup sleeve. The concierge at the entrance always opened the car door; it's one of the most proactive hotels in China when it comes to greeting guests. I especially liked the room cleaning staff; everyone was gentle and lovely. Amy from Guest Relations followed up appropriately. Staying here pretty much guarantees a worry-free experience in Harbin.

Very Good
GGuest UserThis was my first time staying here, and overall I was very satisfied. When I first arrived, I didn’t have high expectations since the lobby is not located on the ground floor. However, once I went up to the 4th floor, the lobby felt spacious and luxurious.
The check-in process was fairly standard, taking around 10 minutes. The staff had limited English skills, and there was no warm welcome as you might expect from a four-star hotel. However, since this is in China, this may simply be the local standard.
I stayed in a room for three people. The room was not very spacious, but still acceptable for three large suitcases. One strange thing was that only two towels were provided, and even until check-out, they were never replenished to three, despite the room being booked for three guests.
The room heater worked well. There was no bidet in the toilet, and the shower’s hot water was sometimes inconsistent, occasionally turning cold unexpectedly. The TV channels were limited to local Chinese channels only, and the TV was not a smart TV.
Breakfast was quite varied and tasted good. The location is excellent — about a 7-minute walk to Zhongyang Street, a 2-minute walk to Sophia Cathedral, around an 8-minute walk to the nearest metro station, and the hotel is directly connected to a mall next door, making it very convenient for shopping and visiting the supermarket for daily needs.
Overall, it’s a fairly good option. If I visit Harbin again, I would consider staying at this hotel again, especially considering the reasonable price for such a strategic location.

GGuest UserI highly recommend this amazing guesthouse to everyone! You can book it with your eyes closed. The service is incredibly attentive, and the butler team in the group chat is always responsive to every request. They offer complimentary pick-up and drop-off to nearby attractions and restaurants. While we were making tea at the tea table, the butler immediately brought over freshly cut fruit. This is the first time I've encountered such observant and proactive butler service. The kids had a fantastic experience, and we ended up staying a second time within a short period. The breakfast was also very exquisite. Both villas have unique charm, especially the common areas, which are all distinct. We'll definitely be back!
