The moment I stepped into the hotel, I felt the warmth of Harbin. The winter melon tea offered by the concierge was delicious. Every staff member at the hotel was incredibly nice after check-in.
This was my first time staying in a hotel with two bathrooms, which was a huge blessing for a trip with my best friend. No more fighting over the bathroom for showers and getting ready!
Even though I missed the snow season, I still had a great time. The hotel is right at the subway entrance, making it convenient to go anywhere. The cross-river cable car, which is worth experiencing, is just across the street. The afternoon tea and traditional costume fitting offered by the hotel were also very unique.
The supervisor was super enthusiastic every day – truly fantastic! 👍

23rd Residence Central Street Branch (4 days, 3 nights)
1. **Booking Period:** Peak season, February 7th - February 10th.
2. **Room Types & Rates Booked:**
* 1 Holiday Family Room (includes double breakfast, window + bathtub)
* 2 City View Twin Rooms (includes double breakfast, window + bathtub)
3. **Room Facilities:** The bathroom has a wet and dry separation, with the toilet and shower on opposite sides right after entering. The shower water pressure was decent, but the bathtub's water pressure was low, making it slow to fill. There's no handrail in the tub (inconvenient for elderly guests, potential slip hazard), and it's smaller than a standard bathtub; anyone over 165cm or with a larger build would find it quite cramped. Also, the bathroom design lacks space to put clothes or towels, which seems to be a design flaw – looks good, but not practical.
4. **Hotel Location:** It's a short walk into Central Street from the main entrance, a prime location. Even with the windows closed, it wasn't noisy, which didn't affect my sleep. I'm someone who has trouble falling asleep and is prone to insomnia, and I didn't find it loud at all.
5. **Hotel Breakfast:** We ate breakfast here all three mornings. For me, someone who only needs an egg, a bit of vegetables, and a cup of coffee in the morning, it was sufficient. However, for those who prefer a richer breakfast spread, it would be lacking. Most of the dishes contained Sichuan peppercorns, which isn't suitable for southerners who don't eat spicy food and can easily cause internal heat. On the first day, there was soy milk, but for the next two days, there was neither soy milk nor milk. I heard from the front desk that the breakfast is outsourced. Personally, I feel there's a significant disparity between the room rate and the breakfast quality; they don't match.
6. **Hotel Service Attitude:** Polite and tried their best to meet guest requests.

Initially, I booked this hotel because I was drawn to its century-old elevators, a unique feature. My child was amazed by the grand, gilded lobby. But what truly stood out was the exceptional service. A staff member helped with our luggage upon check-in, and when my child forgot their homework, they even printed it out and delivered it to our room. During our stay, a kind housekeeper laundered our clothes and brought them back. Since our train wasn't until the afternoon and my child needed to do homework, they even provided afternoon tea. On top of all this, the hotel's location is fantastic, making it easy to get to all the attractions. It's highly recommended, especially for families with children.

If you're driving, I'd recommend taking the exit at Songbei (unless you want to photograph the start of G1), even though it's further, it avoids most of the city traffic, reducing the chance of getting stuck. The hotel environment is top-notch, and parking isn't an issue. You check in at the South Gate reception, and the North Gate leads directly to the south entrance/exit of the Harbin Ice and Snow World, about a 10-minute walk depending on your pace. It's very close to the Ferris wheel and the big stage, and I believe it's not far from the subway station either. Cleanliness is a given and was excellent. The room facilities are comprehensive. When ordering takeout, be aware of potential delays; in my case, there were no delivery riders available. I'm not sure if this was an isolated incident or a common problem. During the Ice and Snow Festival, room prices double, but for convenience, it's an excellent choice.
Harbin Ice and Snow World Adult Ticket - Standard Price: I booked the tickets with my room, and it was significantly cheaper than buying them separately. Important: remember to select your time slot when booking!

The hotel's location is very close to Central Street, making it convenient for sightseeing and shopping. The only downside is that the family room we booked was a bit small, and there was no door between the bathroom/shower entrance and the bedroom, which lacked a sense of privacy. Since the family room accommodates three people, I suggest providing three sets of water glasses and tooth-brushing cups, as there were only two in the room. Overall, the hotel is good, and I recommend improving some of these small details to enhance the guest experience!

Choosing the right hotel truly elevates your travel experience! Harbin Ritz Hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable, right on the main street of Central Avenue. Step outside and you're immediately surrounded by iconic spots like the Madieer popsicles and Qiulin sausages. It's just an 8-minute walk to St. Sophia Church for stunning night views, and exploring nearby food and attractions couldn't be easier. The hotel lobby, with its European palace style, is incredibly photogenic; the crystal chandeliers make for amazing shots. The breakfast spread is extensive, featuring freshly made, crispy, and authentic 'Guo Bao Rou' (sweet and sour pork), as well as Russian-style compass sausages. The staff are warm and professional, even hand-drawing food maps and thoughtfully recommending less-traveled routes. The value for money here is outstanding!
Staying at Qian Tong Hotel was truly an unforgettable experience. The hotel's design is exceptional, with vintage red brick walls and exquisite interior decor that imbues every corner with an artistic flair. The attention to detail in the rooms is evident everywhere, making the stay both comfortable and stylish. The service was also impeccable; from check-in to check-out, the staff were warm and professional, and any request was promptly addressed, which was incredibly reassuring. The breakfast offered a wide and delicious selection, starting the day off right. The hotel's location is also very convenient, making it easy to get around and explore. This trip was made even more perfect by Qian Tong Hotel. I've already recommended it to my friends and will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit!

Environment:
The hotel's environment is excellent, located right on Central Street, and the location is superb! It's very close to the subway station and various attractions. Absolutely fantastic! 👍
Cleanliness:
The guest rooms and lobby are super clean. There's also a backyard; it doesn't look great for photos in winter, but it should be lovely in summer. 😍
Facilities:
The hotel's facilities are all very good. Although it's an older hotel, the facilities are quite new. The wooden floors are a bit warped due to age, but it doesn't affect overall use. 😉
It's not a smart home, but it has air conditioning, heating, and an electric toilet – everything you need, very convenient. The only downside is that the hot water for showering isn't hot at night; it was like that for both nights I stayed, which was a bit puzzling since the hot water in the morning was very hot. 🤔
Service:
The service truly deserves a hundred points! 💯 Upon arrival, a kind uncle enthusiastically helped with luggage. When I had trouble at the laundry room, housekeeping service was prompt. The lobby offers food 24 hours a day, with breakfast until 10 AM, followed by afternoon tea, and then late-night snacks. You can even order wontons for a late-night snack, which is truly amazing!
This is a hidden gem of a hotel, I'll definitely come back next time! Highly recommend it to everyone! ❤️❤️
Best wishes.

Overall, I'd highly recommend this hotel.
The location is right next to St. Sophia Cathedral, and the view from the scenic room offers a great photo spot without having to queue. However, this also presents a major issue: since it's a scenic room, the windows should be clean to avoid obstructing photos and the view. From what I observed, they haven't been cleaned in a long time.
The room's cleanliness was excellent, which is why I spent a lot of time researching and choosing this place, and it didn't disappoint. The bedding and bathroom were very clean, and the shower drain was clear. The hairdryer was the best I've used in a hotel in the past two years; it had strong airflow. A minor flaw was the absence of a comb among the toiletries.
If you can wake up early, definitely try the hotel's breakfast. It offers good value for money. We had breakfast at the hotel every morning during our stay in Harbin, essentially making it a brunch, and then just needed dinner later. Some dishes were a bit oily and salty, but I still highly recommend it.
The service was excellent and very friendly.

This hotel is located in Nangang District. The lobby, on the second floor, is small but exquisite and cozy, making you feel comfortable the moment you step in.
What truly impressed me was the service—every staff member greeted us with a smile, showing such gentleness and patience, which is really rare to find in the North! They even upgraded our room for free, which instantly made us feel incredibly positive about our stay.
The rooms are all equipped with humidifiers, which are perfect for the dry northern climate, making our stay exceptionally comfortable.
There's complimentary afternoon tea daily, and during Chinese New Year, guests can even experience making dumplings, adding a wonderful festive atmosphere and sense of tradition.
The breakfast is also very thoughtfully prepared: a self-service buffet combined with à la carte Chinese/Western options, plus special meals for babies, which is a huge relief for parents traveling with children.
I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Harbin!

__WeChat460420****What's it like to be a ”castle owner” for a night?
The Sun Island Castle Hotel, located on the scenic banks of the Songhua River, boasts a charming European architectural style. The first floor is home to various small eateries, while the entire second floor is dedicated to the hotel guest rooms. From the third floor, you can directly access the cross-river cable car, and the fourth floor houses the Chocolate Castle Museum. This museum features an incredibly diverse collection of chocolates, and outside, there's an observation deck – a superb spot to admire the Songhua River's night view.
The hotel's location is excellent, offering incredibly convenient transportation. Besides the cable car, you can also take a cruise ship across the river. The sightseeing bus also stops here, making it easy to visit all the attractions on Sun Island, with the freedom to hop on and off as you please.
This time, I stayed in the most affordable ”Viscount Interior Room.” The room was spacious and well-equipped, with furnishings that truly captured the grand essence of a castle. The only minor drawback was the lack of a window, meaning I couldn't enjoy the natural scenery outside – a small regret.
It's worth noting that, compared to the opulent guest rooms, the hotel's front desk seemed a bit understated. The small reception counter is tucked away in a corner on the first floor, which felt a little out of sync with the ”Chocolate Castle” theme. Personally, I suggest designing the front desk in the shape of chocolate and having the reception staff wear more distinctive attire. Wouldn't that better align with the magical theme of this place?
Overall, this was a surprisingly delightful stay, highly recommended for those who appreciate unique hotels.

YYanggaomeinvTraveling to Harbin with my child, our first stop was the Xana Hotel (Harbin Central Street Sophia Church). The hotel's location is perfect, situated in the middle-north section of Central Street, making it incredibly convenient for getting anywhere. Zhaolin Park is just 100 meters east, across the street, and the main Central Street is 50 meters west. St. Sophia Cathedral is about 500-800 meters away on foot. The hotel lobby was super cozy, offering a stamp check-in and afternoon tea. The staff provided excellent service. Since I hadn't planned my trip and decided to go last minute, I asked about Harbin's specialties. They even added me on WeChat and sent me a guide to dining, entertainment, and attractions around the hotel. The breakfast was incredibly rich, meeting all the nutritional needs (meat, eggs, milk, fruit) required for traveling with a child. On the day of check-out, I decided last minute to take some travel photos with my child near St. Sophia, which delayed our check-out time. The staff kindly extended our check-out until 2 PM for free. All in all, our first stop in Harbin made us feel so warm. If you're staying around Central Street, Xana is definitely the best choice!!! I've already recommended it to many friends since returning to Beijing. 😙😙😙

GGuest UserTraveling with my whole family, including seniors and children, choosing The Ritz-Carlton Harbin Fuli was absolutely the right decision! Our two-night stay was comfortable and worry-free from start to finish. The high-rise lobby is grand and welcoming, and our room was spacious, bright, with an amazing view. The indoor temperature was perfect, so we didn't have to worry about the cold Northeast weather at all. The service was thoughtful and impeccable; staff members proactively helped with luggage and took care of the elderly and children. Their responses were prompt, making us feel respected and valued. The facilities were clean and high-end; the bathroom and bedding were of excellent quality. The seniors felt secure, and the children loved it too. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, and the surrounding area was convenient for getting around. Overall, it was quiet and stylish. It's truly ideal for a family stay; the seniors were comfortable, and the children were happy. Our entire family was very satisfied, making it our top choice for accommodation in Harbin!

Very Good
CCandou_This time in Harbin, I chose this hotel primarily for its location and reputation. My two-night stay was quite a 'rollercoaster' – some pleasant surprises, but also some frustrating moments.
There were many highlights that deserve praise:
1. **Thoughtful Room Design**: The decor was warm and stylish, a refreshing change from the usual cookie-cutter business hotels. The bathroom's wet/dry separation was excellent, and the Laifen hairdryer along with the wall-mounted handheld showerhead were definite plusses. It really showcased the hotel's taste and attention to detail.
2. **Breakfast was a pleasant surprise!**: The variety was abundant, and the coffee was superb. I thoroughly enjoyed breakfast every morning. The restaurant service was also fantastic; staff were quick to clear plates, and the whole environment was very clean.
3. **Excellent Service in Public Areas**: The lobby offered complimentary hot water, tea, and coffee, plus shared washer/dryer machines, which was incredibly convenient for families with children.
However, the first day was quite a 'headache':
Upon arrival, we were immediately informed that the elevator was out of order. First, we were directed to find an elevator in a nearby mall, which we couldn't locate. Then, we were told to use a staircase. That staircase was dark and dilapidated. Carrying elderly family members, a child, and a pile of luggage, I grew increasingly anxious, especially since my phone had no signal and I couldn't reach the hotel by phone. Finally, after reaching the first floor, I managed to contact the hotel. Although the front desk promptly sent someone to assist and offered a gift as an apology, the whole process was incredibly stressful. Later that evening, we discovered the elevator was broken again...
In summary:
The hotel has excellent hardware; the breakfast and room details were impeccable. However, encountering continuous elevator malfunctions and misguidance on the first day significantly dampened our initial experience. I hope the hotel can prioritize equipment maintenance and optimize its emergency response procedures. If these issues can be addressed, it would undoubtedly be a five-star hotel that I'd wholeheartedly recommend.

GGuest UserI highly recommend this amazing guesthouse to everyone! You can book it with your eyes closed. The service is incredibly attentive, and the butler team in the group chat is always responsive to every request. They offer complimentary pick-up and drop-off to nearby attractions and restaurants. While we were making tea at the tea table, the butler immediately brought over freshly cut fruit. This is the first time I've encountered such observant and proactive butler service. The kids had a fantastic experience, and we ended up staying a second time within a short period. The breakfast was also very exquisite. Both villas have unique charm, especially the common areas, which are all distinct. We'll definitely be back!
YYemzyThe hotel does very little to communicate and fully explain in detail to their guests when they check in, we did not know that the hotel was offering dinner to their to its guest on the day of our arrival, we had to ask around, and in so doing it seemed as though we where trying to get crush for a free dinner, the package we booked for had an executive lounge happy hour and light dinner, we had to prove ourselves that we had booked and paid for a package deal. The hotel really needs to improve on their service and alert their guests on what is happening in the hotel so as to avoid embarrassing and unnecessary confusion. The room was clean, but the amenities offered are not up to par. The air conditioner was not making the room cool enough. The room was hot, and the air was tight. The food was good and we were satisfied, this was the best part for my family and I, we where actually skeptical thinking that it's going to be all Chinese but surprisingly we ate more than we anticipated for.
The hotel is a good hotel. Would i recommend someone to go and stay there? Yes! But they need to seriously improve on communication and overall service towards their guests, especially foreign guests who want to try out Chinese cuisines, you need to raise the bar and look for service providers who are bilingual so as to facilitate a good service. And please add more pastry recipes to your menu 😋
