My welcome was very warm. There was complimentary pick up from the train station, and oranges and candies waiting when I arrived. The old house/hotel was charming, with amazing views over the old town. It was inside the scenic area, which means it was an 8 minute walk to everywhere. The proprietress was very helpful with suggestions on where to go and what to do. My room was coziness itself! Breakfast was adequate enough to keep me fueled until lunch time. I would definitely stay again!

The service is thoughtful and attentive, making for an incredibly pleasant stay that I won't soon forget. The owner is wonderfully warm and attentive, treating guests like friends, and even thoughtfully arranged airport transfers, saving me from travel worries. Perched among green peaks and swirling mists, it offers both poetic natural beauty and human warmth. This trip was incredibly relaxing and comfortable. When I return to Zhangjiajie, I would absolutely love to stay here again. Opening the window reveals the stunning beauty of Wuling, while closing it brings serene peace to the room. The room is clean, elegant, and boasts an amazing view. To sleep embraced by mountains and wake up with the clouds truly lives up to its reputation as a fairyland. A perfect stay.

I absolutely have to rave about this hotel in Changsha! The location is just superb, making getting around incredibly convenient for shopping and sightseeing. All the staff are really warm and friendly, and the service is top-notch. The open-air bar is super comfortable to sit in, so relaxing and therapeutic; the ambiance is just perfect for chilling out and enjoying the breeze. The robot delivery service is a fantastic and hassle-free touch. My entire experience was amazing from start to finish, definitely a hotel I'd return to again and again. I truly love it, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Changsha! 🥰

This hotel is located near the lower reaches of the Tuojiang River, offering a quiet environment perfect for a good night's sleep, yet it's incredibly convenient for getting around. You can open your window right onto the river! It's a quick stroll along the riverbank to reach the ancient town. The front desk service was exceptional; they even helped arrange transportation to the Maglev station, which was a huge plus since ride-sharing apps aren't available here. Spending an evening or afternoon in their tearoom, facing the river, chatting, and relaxing was incredibly pleasant!

It was my first day here and I hadn't planned anything, so I was a bit stressed. Luckily, I met Lily, who patiently explained everything to me, including travel tips and even helped me sort out attraction tickets. She saved me a lot of worry! The service was so excellent that I extended my stay by three more days on the spot. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in town. A big bonus is the washing machine and dryer – I could wash my clothes and wear them again the very next day. Highly recommend!

The night before, I booked the Hilton Changsha Shimao through the Hilton platform, and the experience was utterly terrible. The soundproofing was awful. I was woken up at 3 AM by noise from the hallway and didn't sleep a wink all night, ending up with a pounding headache. First thing in the morning, I rebooked at the InterContinental via Trip.com. Miss Anna Jiang at the front desk was incredibly professional, friendly, and genuinely warm. I was so touched! She walked me to the elevator, introduced me to the hotel facilities and restaurants. She even pre-warned me that the river view rooms are near the elevators and to let them know if I experienced any noise so I could switch rooms. The concierge staff were also very proactive and helpful; I really appreciate their assistance. Although the hotel's hardware facilities are a bit old, they are well-maintained and clean. The room view was lovely, overlooking the delta where the Liuyang River and Xiang River converge. There's a direct passage to the adjacent shopping malls (Beichenhui/Joy City), making dining and shopping very convenient. Breakfast here has the best Western pastries among all the international brand hotels I've stayed at in the past few months. It really suited my preferences, and the coffee was made with an espresso machine. There were also plenty of Chinese options, including rice noodles, but the texture wasn't quite to my liking; they were a bit too thick. Before checking out, I realized I'd left a ring in the room. I called, and they informed me it had already been found and sent to the concierge. It was perfect timing as I was just returning from visiting the Changsha Museum and picked it up on my way back. Oh, and right across from the hotel are the 'Three Museums and One Hall,' which are within walking distance. For food deliveries, you have to pick them up from external lockers, which is understandable and acceptable to me.

What a pleasant surprise! As an EV owner, this Four Points by Sheraton is a must-stay. Both the service and facilities were top-notch and completely exceeded my expectations! The front desk staff were professional and attentive, handling my check-in efficiently. They proactively asked about my needs and patiently recommended local attractions and authentic eateries. They even thoughtfully offered complimentary welcome fruit, and their warm smiles instantly melted away my travel fatigue. As someone who travels by electric vehicle, what I appreciated most were the hotel's charging stations. They were clearly marked, charged quickly, and were easy to use. Charging overnight was a breeze, and parking was convenient, completely eliminating any range anxiety. The room was clean and comfortable, with soft bedding, and you could tell they paid attention to the details. With such warm service, worry-free charging, and excellent value for money, this hotel has definitely made it onto my list of must-stay places for future trips. I'll definitely be back!

The service at Manyuan Resort Hotel is what truly makes guests feel at home. The hotel is exceptionally well-placed for visiting Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. It is just a short walk—about 10 minutes—from the main entrance (Wulingyuan sign gate), saving you time and energy each day, making it a top choice for your visit to Zhangjiajie. You will find the hotel's location incredibly convenient for both dining and relaxing after a day of exploration. The hotel's own breakfast comes with a good mix of Chinese dishes and even a coffee machine—the surrounding area offers plenty of dinner options. It is situated in a vibrant area with easy access to local amenities. A short stroll will take you to a street selling souvenirs. Most importantly, after a long day of walking in the national park, you will be glad to know that foot massage parlors are commonly found in the vicinity, offering the perfect way to soothe tired muscles.

Very nice hotel to stay in Zhangjiajie, rooms are spacious, equipped with coffee machine, ironing, Smart Control lighting and curtains. Breakfast is buffet, needs little improvement but all in all 4/5. Hotel is located very close to Tianmen mountain cable car and bus terminal. By bus you can easily travel to wulingyuan and national park. Recommend.

My kids love antique architecture, so we chose this homestay on our way to Zhangjiajie after some comparison. As soon as I booked, the housekeeper called, added me on WeChat, and immediately created a multi-person service group. They upgraded our room for free. The homestay is at the foot of the mountain, with a great view of the mountains from the window. The room was spacious, and the facilities were brand new and worked perfectly. The breakfast was a mix of Western and Chinese, very rich, and they even made fresh beef noodles. Since we were there in winter, they had a fireplace, and we enjoyed breakfast while admiring the scenery outside. The homestay has two super fluffy cats; the kids especially loved the one named 'Bread' – it was incredibly gentle. It even dozed off on my child's lap while we were eating breakfast, so relaxed! The homestay is very stylishly designed. The staff helped us plan our travel itinerary, booked tickets, and the housekeeper even gave us rides to the National Forest Park. We originally planned to stay one night, but the kids begged to stay another, so we did! If we ever get a chance to visit Zhangjiajie again, we'll definitely stay here.
