They picked us up at the train station and showed us the way to the entranceof the hotel, prebought our tickets to enter the area (ticket is mandatory to enter the old city place). They was really kind and helpful, the hotel was at a really good location, breakfast place is with a view to the river. Room was fully equipped and comfortable with the balcony.

We had a fantastic time in Zhangjiajie and a big part of our experience was thanks to the hospitality of the staff at the Four Seasons Lai Riverside Resort Hotel. Even before checking in, the staff reached out and made sure we were okay getting to the hotel. Check-in was easy, our staff asked us about our plans and provided maps and directions for the activities we had booked. Hotel itself is very modern and clean. Would definitely recommend and would come back again. Location is approximately 10 minutes from the east gate of the National Forest Park and the hotel provides free taxi ride to the park

The hotel's location is fantastic, right next to the Huangxing Pedestrian Street subway station, so you literally step out and you're there. It's incredibly convenient for getting around and shopping. Although it's rated as a 3-star hotel, the facilities far exceeded my expectations, feeling more like a 4-diamond property. The rooms feature smart whole-house voice control, an electric skylight, and a giant projection screen, making for a comfortable and high-end stay experience. Both the public areas and the rooms were clean, tidy, quiet, and comfortable. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options and tasted great, providing excellent value for money. With convenient transportation and thoughtful amenities, my overall stay was excellent. Highly recommended.

The hotel's location is a peaceful oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, with fantastic views. The rooms are spacious, perfect for families with children. Our butler, Cola, provided exceptionally attentive and thoughtful service, especially looking after our elderly parents and kids. Knowing our parents had mobility issues, he even arranged a special car pick-up and drop-off. It was a very satisfying stay, highly recommended!

Honestly, the room was nice but was very noisy with the plane flew over occasionally during midnight. The hotel 3rd floor restaurants were not operating at night so THEY TURNED OFF THE ENTIRE FLOOR LIGHTS. Once you exit the lift, it’s pitch dark… They also turned off the lights for those conference rooms and corridors next to the washing machine areas at my room floor… It was so horrifying. Told the front desk, they said they will turn it on but nope. Nothing was done. While no other users but only our clothes were on self service washing, we returned within 10 mins after the washing timer completed. Shockingly noticed our clothes have started drying on incorrect setting. (We needed cold temp, slow spinning). It was the cleaner who “helped” us. It may be out of good wills but I personally find it inappropriate since no permissions were granted to touch or move our belongings.. The butler lady who contacted me through WeChat were also quite pushy on getting me to buy the tour tickets from her. She will keep reminding me to quickly make decisions on the ticket purchase… Intentions were questionable as my other hotel butler did not keep insisting. Nonetheless, she was still very helpful and responsive. When we arrived, there were no services and the front desk gave me the “you should have known how the hotel works” kind of look and instructed me with 2 lines:“ Breakfast at level 3, washing machine at level 5.”

An absolutely delightful stay at InterContinental! Location: The hotel is perfectly situated at the confluence of the Liuyang and Xiang Rivers, right next to Beichenhui Joy City. There's a direct walkway from the hotel lobby into the mall, making dining, entertainment, and shopping incredibly convenient. It's also a comfortable 5-7 minute walk to Beichen Delta Metro Station, passing other malls like Fenghuanghai along the way. The surrounding area is a residential neighborhood with plenty of local eateries on the ground floor shops. Room: As a member celebrating a birthday, I was upgraded to a balcony room directly overlooking the Xiang River. The view was expansive and unobstructed. The 270° balcony essentially offered panoramic views. Unfortunately, it rained heavily in Changsha over the weekend, so visibility was poor due to heavy mist during the day, though it improved slightly in the afternoon and evening. From the lounge, you can enjoy views of the Changsha Library area, or step out onto the outdoor balcony for a different perspective. Ambiance: The facilities are still very new. The lobby bar is spacious, and the first-floor breakfast restaurant had far more seating than I anticipated. The overall decor is very stylish. It's also very comfortable to just sit and relax in the first-floor lobby. Food: I experienced the lounge's happy hour, breakfast, and the main lobby breakfast. They offered local specialties like liangfen (cold noodles) and rice noodles. There was a wide variety of Western and Chinese options. The Western selection had a good number of delicious baked goods. The bar was quite busy in the mornings with many people getting coffee and tea. Service: The service was incredibly warm, meticulous, and professional. During check-in, the front desk staff introduced us to all the hotel's functional areas and features. A special thank you to Cathy for her outstanding contribution to our stay. Since we were celebrating my partner's birthday, Cathy thoughtfully arranged decorations and a welcome dessert for us. Throughout our stay, she responded to our inquiries quickly and professionally and actively addressed my previous requests. My partner described the entire stay as comfortable, surprising, and heartwarming. Once again, thank you to Cathy for her professionalism and dedication. And thanks to all the staff for their service, which made us feel right at home. I'm very much looking forward to returning to InterContinental Beichen when the mountains are ablaze with autumn colors!

Choosing the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel for my trip to Hengyang was such a wise decision! I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious and clean parking lot upon arrival. The charging stations for electric vehicles were clearly marked, so I didn't have to worry about battery life at all while driving, and parking was incredibly convenient. Stepping into the lobby was even more eye-catching. The lush greenery arranged in a pleasing, open-plan design, combined with the high ceilings, felt like bringing a forest into the hotel, instantly dispelling travel fatigue and creating a comfortable and soothing atmosphere. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming throughout, making check-in efficient and quick. They also proactively introduced the hotel facilities and nearby attractions, showing thoughtfulness and professionalism. The hotel's overall environment was clean and elegant, with quiet and comfortable public areas, showcasing quality in every detail. Whether for business or family travel, it perfectly meets the needs, especially for those driving electric vehicles. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Hengyang, and I highly recommend it!

The service was incredibly warm and attentive. Our room overlooked the Suoxi River, and the outdoor balcony with a bathtub was perfect for soaking while enjoying the night views – so relaxing! Every day, the lovely staff drew me a map for the next day's sightseeing, and following it made exploring all the beautiful scenery so enjoyable. I was extremely satisfied with this trip. The hotel is also just a 10-minute walk from the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park Wulingyuan entrance, along a charming wooden boardwalk beside the stream, making every day's journey a delight.

The facilities and services are well-matched to the price. It's definitely recommendable. It has a fridge and a microwave. The air conditioning works great. The only minor issue is that the shower water pressure is a bit weak. There's a gym and self-service laundry available. You can park right outside, and there are many restaurants downstairs. You can walk about 2km to the Tianmen Mountain cable car station after coming down. The staff are all very polite and respond quickly. Very good! 👍
