The room facilities are complete, and the staff are especially welcoming. The hotel has a smart speaker (Xiaodu) for requests, as well as complimentary breakfast and laundry service. I'm very grateful to the staff here. The hotel is located in the city center, making it convenient for getting around; it's a 5-minute walk to Wuyi Square. There are many food streets nearby, and the average cost per person is quite affordable! 🥰

If you want the classic stay overlooking the beautiful waterfall experience - this is the place to stay! It has the best view in town but they don't take that for granted. The service was absolutely incredible. We travelled with a toddler and they provided free pick up and drop off from the train station. The young man who runs the hotel singlehandedly ported all of our luggage for us (even more than I handle on my own) which was AMAZING! Rooms were very clean, thoughtfully laid out and had just the right features. There's a restaurant on site with stunning views.. Do yourself a favor and stay here!
I rarely write reviews, but this time I really have to, because I'm so incredibly touched. I absolutely must thank Manager Lily for making our trip such a perfect experience. We were truly overjoyed, and because of that, my impression of this hotel is fantastic 👍:
This trip was with my two elderly parents and a 4-year-old child, and I was genuinely nervous. Could I take good care of everyone? Would the journey go smoothly? Then, right at the hotel entrance, we met Manager Lily. With a radiant smile, she immediately offered to carry two large suitcases for me. She chatted with us all the way to our room, asking how we were, and once inside, she meticulously explained how to use all the lights and appliances. She even reminded us to close the balcony screen door to keep out mosquitoes. I was so happy and felt so warmly cared for – it was like drinking ice-cold spring water when you're parched, and the fatigue from traveling instantly vanished. After resting a bit, we were ready to explore the ancient town. It was our first time in Fenghuang, and we had no idea where to start. Luckily, on the first floor, Manager Lily had arranged maps and gave us a detailed explanation of a sightseeing route. She even arranged for the hotel car to drop us off at the entrance of the ancient town. And after we finished exploring, Manager Lily again arranged for a car to pick us up from the ancient town and bring us back to the hotel. With both elderly family members and a child, this trip was truly effortless and delightful. All my previous worries were gone, and the journey was completed perfectly. That's why I'm seriously writing this review. This trip gave me an insight:
Beautiful scenery is certainly appealing, and hotels with elegant environments make you comfortable, but what truly touches people's hearts and makes them cherish memories is undoubtedly the most sincere service and the most thoughtful arrangements, making you want to stay forever 👍. Thank you, Manager Lily! I've already made plans with her to stay again in October 🌹
The room was incredibly quiet and comfortable, making for an excellent stay! The front desk service was warm and attentive, with a fantastic attitude. They even upgraded us to a river view room for free, which had a stunning view. The value for money here is superb, I highly recommend it, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!

A hotel which is about 2 years old, everything is new. We were quite impressed with the smart controls in the room. We can command it to close the curtains, turn off n on the lights, ask about the temperature for the day etc. We opted for rooms with the mountain view and we could see it from the room window every-day subject to weather conditions. Waiting for the rooms when we arrived, the reception was very nice to explain to us in detail which route to take to tianmen mountain, zhangjiajie grand canyon, National Forest Park (Avater mountains). We decided to make our base at this hotel while taking the didi (1+ hr to n 1+hr back) to the grand canyon n national forest park. It is a hassle to travel around those areas with luggages. The cableway to tianmen mountain is 10 mins walk, very convenient. Be prepared to walk a lot. Lucky there is a foot n body massage on the 4th floor of the hotel. It was a saver to our legs after a long day at tianmen mountain. There were eateries around but we were not used to the spicy n oily food, the San xia guo is a hot item sold around there, we stayed away from restaurants selling San xia guo after one meal with it, we did not like it. We try to find restaurants with food that was gentler on our gut like haidilao n Korean BBQ buffet. There is a breakfast restaurant 5 mins walk from the hotel which is a heaven as the food is more to our liking, they even had fresh soy bean, dumplings, non spicy noodle soup. The hotel breakfast was not bad, good n light. Please get the meicha which is a herbal tea from zhangjiajie, good for relaxing before sleep and it is said to be good for the 3 highs. Available in the shopping areas, the store at the lobby of the hotel sells it too.
Overall the hotel is clean, quiet, good amenities, good location, good views. Just a feedback on one morning where we out for breakfast and left our belongings unlocked, we put the not to disturb door sign on the door but the housekeeper came in to clean the room. Please inform the housekeeper not to enter the room when there is no instructions to clean the room on the door sign.

The Zhangjiajie Four Seasons Lai was a wonderful stay. They picked us up at the train station (100RMB), which was nice for a smooth transition. The room was spacious, clean, and the bidet toilet was very comfortable. The front reception was attentive, friendly, and answered all of our questions. One of them had great English, while the others used a translation device, which allowed us to effectively communicate. The hotel's breakfast had a variety of options (dim sum, fried rice/noodles, vegetables, Western foods). It was located a few minutes away from Beofeng Lake and about a 20-30 minute walk to Wulingyuan. There were many nearby small restaurants, shops, and foot massage places. The pictures on the listing were exactly what we saw. It was a 15 minute drive to Zhangjiajie, which was convenient. We had a wonderful stay, and would stay here again. It was great value/affordable with what we received!

We had such a wonderful stay here and I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
1. We requested an early check‑in at 10:30 AM, and the staff kindly prepared the room in time.
2. When we needed a paper printed, they helped us immediately without hesitation.
3. They provided us with a map and explained the show timings clearly, which made exploring the town much easier.
4. Our room had a beautiful and peaceful riverside view—truly relaxing.
5. Both receptionists were extremely helpful and attentive throughout our stay.
6. Even before our arrival, the hotel kept following up and responded promptly to all my questions via Trip.com.
Everything about this stay—from the thoughtful service to the serene view—made our Furong visit memorable.

Staying here felt like slipping into paradise; luxury is truly in the details. The bed was so soft I didn't want to get up, and the butler was incredibly attentive. I soaked in the bathtub overlooking the mountain view until dark, and almost wanted to steal the duvet at checkout—this isn't just a B&B, it's a branch of heaven!

Amazing stay! The view was incredible, and the receptionist even welcomed us with a complimentary bottle of wine. The staff were extremely helpful throughout our visit—they picked us up from and dropped us off at the train station for free, which made everything so convenient.
The hotel looked exactly like the pictures, if not better. It was truly one of the best and most memorable places of our trip. I’ve already recommended it to many of my friends. Outstanding experience!
Great location, the hotel is right in the heart of the ancient city. It's convenient for dining, sightseeing, and enjoying the night views.
Parking is easy – anyone who's driven knows the struggle of finding a spot once you enter a scenic area.
The facilities, service, dining, and cleanliness are all excellent! 👍👍👍👍👍
Next time I visit, I'll definitely stay here again. It was a comfortable stay.
Brother Yang's recommendations for the coffee shop and snack bar were really good too! 👍

Amazing service - they were very accomodating and patient with us as we only spoke English. Awesome location where it was right next to the East gate entrance. They helped us book our passes to the National park, Grand Canyon and Tianmen Mountain at a discounted price. The facilities are very clean and aesthetic with a relaxing atmosphere. Very generous option in the breakfast buffet selection. Very tidy and clean room a d service. We had fun playing with the voice activation to turn the light on/off and opening/closing the blinds 😆. Definitely would visit again.
I really liked the hotel. The hotel arranged a transfer from the train station to the hotel and back, and it also took us to the main attractions. The staff was very helpful and responsive to our questions and concerns. The receptionist spoke English and assisted us in purchasing tickets for the Avatar Mountains, the Grand Canyon, and the cave. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We also had a free tea ceremony with four different teas from China. After the ceremony, we were able to purchase the tea we liked. The breakfasts were good, and even a Russian person could find something to eat. The hotel grounds are a separate aesthetic pleasure, especially in the evening when the steam is turned on. There is also a very beautiful view of the mountains from the room window.
I loved my time at this hotel, especially the modern interior design, cute cats roaming on the reception floor, and vicinity to the Zhangjiajie National Park (I think it’s worth moving to Wulingyuan for the park days as it saves the long drive to and from ZJJ City in the morning and afternoon). Receptionist was friendly and the complimentary Business Maxi Drive to the station at the end of our trip really helped top it off. It is a very “homely” hotel which you can tell every staff member was trying their best to help you. There was a slight issue with the buffet breakfast being cold/lacking variety, but this was fixed by my second day. Amazing stay!
The location may be further away from the East gate of the Zhangjiajie park but this hotel offers free drop off and pick up to and from the East gate entrance, even after we finished dinner. It is super convenient and is arranged by simply messaging the hotel's Wechat account. The car is a six seater so it could transport us all. The breakfast is a very filling Chinese style breakfast with soup noodles, eggs, buns, dumplings, veggies and fruits. The soybean milk is very filling too. You can purchase your park entrance and cable car fees at a discount from the hotel, and make sure to grab the park map too which is very useful for planning your route and the connections in between the different sightseeing spots via the three cable cars and the elevator. There are also washing machines and dryers for guests. Overall a very enjoyable stay!
Very big hotel with lots of amenities including a well equipped gym, laundry room, billiards, etc. While the room was quite clean, the hotel itself is quite old. I didn’t like the layout of the bathroom but the room was quite big. Staff was respectful. There is also a restaurant in the lobby for both breakfast and lunch. The location is very convenient since it’s right at the entrance (~6min walk from fenghuang ancient town) and right in front of the bus station where they drop you off from the high speed train and where you will take the bus to the station.
Room was big and clean, a bit old but with complimentary water bottles. The staff was super helpful and nice, free shuttle transfer from/to train station and to/from scenic area. Fresh fruits as welcome gift and tea & local snacks as goodbye gift. Breakfast was very consistent, including noodles, dumplings, gyozas, etc.
Best service..bery friendly…help pick up and drop to cable way station…the boss / owner also very help and friendly…room very nice view to Tianmen mt and river. Very suggest here…and romantic place
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic Stay – Highly Recommend! We had a wonderful experience at Zhangjiajie Qishi Li Cave Homestay. The hotel contacted us days before arrival, arranged airport pickup, and even helped plan our visits to Tianmen Mountain, the Glass Bridge, and the National Forest Park. Our driver dropped us off to start sightseeing and brought our luggage to the hotel for us—such thoughtful service! When we checked in, we were surprised with a honeymoon room upgrade. Although we chose our original room for a cozier feel, the gesture was incredibly kind. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view. The location is perfect—about a 10-minute walk to the National Forest entrance. The staff truly made our trip. They helped book all our tickets, gave clear directions, and even assisted with food delivery. Special thanks to Sunny for planning everything, and to the staff member who brought us grapes and oranges late at night when we were craving fruit 😂. We’re recommending this hotel to everyone. Amazing service, great location, and unforgettable hospitality!
Room very clean. Location very strategic if you are planning to go national park just by walking. Breakfast served was very good with many varieties of food available Overall 9/10
Overall, this was a pleasant stay and I will book again if I visit Qiyang again. We had 2 adults and 2 young children. Wishing to stay together in one room, they happily allowed this and waived any additional charge for breakfast for my 2 kids. The place was clean and very comfortable. Whilst the rooms are very clean some mould is starting to colour on the waterproof sealing in the shower. I hope the hotel keeps the clean appearance with a bit of bleach cleaning on the mould. Another great plus is that they have 2 free to use washing machines and 2 dryers. I hand washed stained clothes in my room and use the machines for the final wash. It became one of the things I did whilst the wait was used to train in the gym next to the laundry area. The gym was rudimentary but if you know how to train, bringing in a couple of training bands will be adequate. The bench is a bit wobbly so watch out for that. The location of the hotel is perfect with a large park opposite. For western visitors, I think they need to understand a few things about hotels in non-first tier city in Mainland China and specifically Qiyang. 1) Yes, most things are in Puntonghua (including the room's voice control AI) although the front desk staff can communicate in basic English. 2) The breakfast food buffet is distinctly catered to local tastes, so you won't get western style croissants, sausages, bacon and eggs. What you will get is the delicious freshly made noodles and boiled eggs, steamed rice bus, fried noodles, fried rice, spicy fried pork and beef, with congee and Chinese style broth. If you want western breakfast, you need to go to local McDonalds which is a 5 minute taxi ride away. 3) That brings me on to taxis. On the plus, its cheap. Most taxis charge around RMB10-20 (USD 1.40 -2.40) for a 2 mile radius. On the negative, you need to be able to get one and the hotel doesn't have a taxi call service, not by any fault of the hotel but by the lack of committed taxi drivers who are willing to work with the hotel, so very much hail on the street yourself kind of thing. 4) There is a KTV on the 3rd floor of the hotel but that is normal for a big Qiyang hotel. I would definitely recommend one of the higher floors if you want a little less noise. 5) And yes, there is literally one or two German cockroaches in the room at night but luckily not a serious infestation level. That is expected for rural places like Qiyang especially where the origin of the infestation may not be at the hotel itself.
