Hotels With Pools in Sarawak, Malaysia

A very clean hotel with great customer service at a very central location ... ~ 5-10 minutes walk to the Sarawak Museum, near to carpenter streets and also the river. Have a beautiful view looking over the Sarawak River and Astana / parliamentary house. It has a shopping mall connected it via level LG, G and level 4 where the cafe is located. Will definitely consider staying with Waterfront Hotel again in my next visit to Kuching.

The staff were welcoming, greeting us with refreshing drinks upon our arrival in the lobby. However, I was disappointed to find that we were assigned a room facing the kids swimming pool, lacking the promised sea view that was stated in my reservation. Apart from this, the overall stay was satisfactory.

Imperial Hotel Kuching offers a convenient location and generally comfortable rooms, but the air-conditioning system needs attention. Each time the unit is switched on, it produces a loud, persistent noise that disrupts rest. The room itself is clean and well-kept, and staff service is prompt, yet the noisy aircon significantly affects the overall stay. Addressing this issue would greatly improve the guest experience.

The facilities are excellent as it's a newly built hotel. I was especially satisfied with the king-sized bed; it was spacious enough for a family of three. We added an extra bed for our child, but it probably wasn't even necessary. My only minor regret is that the large guest room I stayed in didn't have a bathtub. The pool view is superb, and with a roof overhead, you can use it regardless of the time or weather, which is great. The water is a bit cold, though. The indoor showers at the pool were incredibly convenient. You can even get towels from the gym, so you can shower there before heading back to your room. My only slight disappointment is that some staff members didn't quite deliver the 5-star service expected of a hotel like this. Despite that, if you're ever in Kuching, I highly recommend staying here.

I had a truly pleasant experience staying at the Grand Margherita Hotel in Kuching. The location is excellent—right by the waterfront—making it very convenient for sightseeing, relaxing walks, and exploring nearby attractions and eateries. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing environment throughout my stay. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, which made the whole experience even better. Breakfast had a good selection, with both local and international options, and the dining area was comfortable and spacious. Facilities like the pool and common areas were also well-kept and enjoyable. Overall, Grand Margherita Hotel offers great comfort, good service, and an ideal location. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Kuching, whether for leisure or business.

There is some delay when we check in. The staff not able to find our file coz we book at Jun 2025 and check in Sept. Other then that it is a good location to stay. Convenient to go China Town , Water Front and etc. The hotel room is big but a bit old.

I stayed at Raia Hotel for a night before my interview at Bangunan Lee On, and it was an excellent choice. The location was very convenient, just a short drive away from my interview venue. I had a wonderful experience at Raia Hotel Kuching! The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and always ready to help, making me feel very welcome throughout my stay.

I was a bit disappointed with the hotel. The deco was like in the 80s. The room is old & need upgrade badly. The stain on sofa & carpet. The damp smell. The room comes with microwave and fridge but both out of order! The whole hotel a bit run down. Such a waste. But as credit I would mention that the location is good. The frontlines were very helpful & friendly. However, I won’t choose this hotel on my next visit.

Great Choice for Families with Kids I recently stayed at this hotel with my small family, and it turned out to be an excellent choice for a short and convenient trip. The service was consistently warm and helpful throughout our stay. The receptionist recommended a cozy family room that suited us perfectly — comfortable, clean, and ideal for parents traveling with young children. One of the biggest advantages is the location. The hotel is within walking distance of many key attractions, making it very easy to plan outings with kids. There’s also a shopping area located within the same building, which was extremely convenient. We were able to get almost anything we needed before 9 PM without having to go far. As for dining, I wouldn’t recommend the food court attached to the building. The hotel’s own dining options or nearby restaurants offer a much better experience in terms of quality and comfort, especially when traveling with children. Overall, this hotel offers great service, an excellent location, and a family-friendly setup. I would gladly return and recommend it to others looking for a hassle-free stay with kids.

The resort is too old which need to have a major renovation. It has been there for more than 30 years without now any upgrade. Most facilities are old and run down.  The Hilltop room is too far from the beach which is not convinence for senior people. Breakfast buffet is over charged and not value for money but their service is quite good and friendly especially two ladies work at Egg/noodle section. Should offer ala carte for those not wish to have buffet. Not much activities at the resort apart from enjoy the beach view.
