Mid-levels Hot Spring Home
4.7/5364 Reviews
This B&B exceeded my expectations. Although it is called a B&B, it is actually a hotel. The room was clean and tidy, with no peculiar smell. Breakfast and dinner are complimentary and taste great. Although the food is delivered according to the number of people, the variety and quantity are so large that we couldn't finish the whole meal. It rained on the first day we arrived, so the outdoor hot springs were not open, only the indoor ones were open. The outdoor hot springs were also opened the next day. Real hot spring water, soaking in it is very refreshing. I particularly like all the service staff who patiently answered questions raised by tourists and gave them good travel suggestions. As soon as I saw the tourists arriving, I immediately ran out of the lobby and came to the parking lot to greet them and help them get their luggage. It was the same when I left. I was sent to the parking lot. I was so touched! Once again I say to you: Thank you! I will recommend your store to friends who plan to come to Changbai Mountain!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at HNA Redbuds Hotel and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in terms of quality, especially considering the affordable price. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the level of service and luxurious amenities offered by the hotel. Upon check-in, the friendly and efficient staff made me feel welcomed and ensured a smooth process. The lobby area was clean, elegant, and tastefully decorated, giving me a positive first impression of the hotel. As I made my way to the room, I couldn't help but notice the attention to detail in the hotel's interior design. The hallways were well-maintained, and the atmosphere was calm and peaceful, allowing for a relaxing stay. My room itself was spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The bed was incredibly cozy, guaranteeing a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring the city. One of the standout features of HNA Redbuds Hotel was the bathroom. Equipped with modern fixtures and featuring a refreshing shower, it provided a pleasant and invigorating experience every time. The hotel also provided complimentary toiletries and fresh towels, a thoughtful touch that added to the overall quality of my stay. In terms of facilities, HNA Redbuds Hotel truly delivered. The fitness center was well-equipped with a variety of exercise machines, allowing me to maintain my workout routine even while traveling. Additionally, the hotel boasted a beautiful pool area with comfortable loungers, great for a relaxing swim or sunbathing session. The hotel's dining options were also impressive. The on-site restaurant served a delicious and diverse breakfast buffet that catered to all tastes. The attentive staff always ensured the buffet was well-stocked and the dining area was clean and inviting. It was a pleasant way to start each day of my stay. Location-wise, HNA Redbuds Hotel was conveniently situated, with easy access to public transportation and various attractions in the area. It allowed me to explore the city effortlessly and return to a comfortable haven at the end of a busy day. Overall, my experience at HNA Redbuds Hotel was nothing short of delightful. The combination of affordability and quality made it the perfect choice for my stay. The attentive staff, comfortable rooms, excellent facilities, and convenient location all contributed to a truly memorable experience. I would highly recommend HNA Redbuds Hotel to anyone seeking a budget-friendly hotel without compromising on comfort and quality.
Changbai Mountain Landscape International Eco-Exchange Center

If your aim is to see the lake at the top of Changbai Mountain, definitely book this hotel for at least two days. The hotel package includes 3hr ski experience per pax per day, unlimited access to the hot spring, and easy access to the Changbai North Scenic Area. The service was super prompt, warm and attentive, but you will need to be Chinese speaking, or get a companion who can communicate with the staff. The staff will add you to their WeChat upon check in, and will not only give you tips on how to visit the scenic area, but will also answer to your (reasonable) requests and questions within an hour. They will update you every morning whether the peak open for viewing, and will guide you in purchasing tickets for the scenic area. We managed to see the peak on our second morning after taking the earliest transfer from the hotel. We have to thank the staff who are so professional and constantly act in our best interests. Best service we had in our trip to China so far. The rooms are good, and the hotel cluster is well taken care of. There are transfers between the hotel and the ski resort, the hot spring centre, the scenic area as well as the train station. For free pickups from the train station, you will need to call the hotel beforehand. I didn’t get a local phone number and had to borrow my previous hotel’s phone to book a pickup. They will also arrange for a free drop-off at the train station. The hotel compound looks beautiful in winter. The staff even built snowmen around the compound and we saw rabbits on our first night here. There are a few things which fell short of expectations, but we understand are beyond the control of the hotel. The outdoor hot spring water is super murky, and the toilets in the hot spring centre smells quite bad one day during our stay. And while the hotel does provide priority access to the peak of Changbai Mountain, the company running the scenic area may not open the access queue during peak periods, and will request that you queue with the tour groups. However, the warm service by the hotel staff trumps these shortcomings and we have immensely enjoyed our stay at the hotel overall.
Hanting Hotel (Changchun Hongqi Street Nanhu Square)

I recently stayed at Hanting Hotel during my trip to [insert city]. While the hotel provided me with a comfortable stay, there were a few aspects that left something to be desired. Firstly, Hanting Hotel's location was superb. It was conveniently situated in the heart of the city, making it easily accessible to popular attractions and public transportation. This was a major plus point for me, as I could explore the city effortlessly. Upon arrival, the reception staff greeted me warmly and check-in was smooth and efficient. The hotel's lobby exuded a modern and clean atmosphere, which was quite welcoming. Furthermore, the hotel's security measures were commendable, ensuring a safe environment for all guests. My room at Hanting Hotel was cozy and adequately furnished. The bed was comfortable, offering a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring. However, I did notice that the room lacked proper sound insulation, as I could hear noises from the hallway and neighboring rooms. This impacted my sleep quality slightly. The cleanliness of the room was generally satisfactory, although there were a few areas that could have been better maintained. The bathroom, while functional, could benefit from some upgrades to enhance the overall experience. In terms of amenities, Hanting Hotel provided basic facilities such as Wi-Fi, which was reliable and allowed me to stay connected throughout my stay. However, I found the lack of a mini-fridge or a coffee/tea maker in the room to be a drawback, as it limited my convenience and comfort. One aspect that stood out during my stay was the hotel's breakfast. The buffet offered a variety of dishes, catering to both local and international palates. The food was delicious, fresh, and served with a friendly smile from the staff. Overall, Hanting Hotel offered a decent stay with its convenient location, friendly staff, and tasty breakfast. However, improvements in sound insulation, room cleanliness, and inclusion of additional room amenities would greatly enhance the overall experience.
Vanke Songhua Lake New Story Suites

Vanke Lake Songhua Resort
I read extensive reviews before I booked this hotel a few months ago, and my experience staying 3 nights here did support those excellent reviews. The services were superior and the staff very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was good and packed with sufficient proteins and nutrients to prepare for a full half day skiing. You can rent ski equipments ( even clothing) right at the basement conveniently after you are done eating. Ski passes and ski classes can be purchased right there, with the channel discount prices, so you avoid the hassle of doing these things at the Ski Service Center. There is a Tesla Model Y always ready to take you from hotel basement to the ski slopes (the ski-in and ski-out access was closed during my stay there but in most cases you could do it) and take you back to hotel whenever you call them a few minutes ahead of time). The hotel itself is located within walking distance to the ski lifts, so even without the transportation assistance, it is manageable by putting on ski boots and just walk back and forth with your skis. The room I booked has a bedroom with 2 twin beds and a living room with TV and dining table and a kitchen sink and stove ( but no utensils yet so don’t expect to cook meals there). Bottle waters and snacks were replenished daily for free. Besides its own dinning facilities and a small grocery store on the basement, there are plenty of options to eat and shop on the Main Street just down the road from the hotel. Overall, the New Story is a happy story and I look forward to returning in a year or two. (My advice for those who can afford flexible schedules, try to come here in slow season like now outside the Xmas and Chinese New Year windows, the snow is still quite good yet the crowds are not existent and you can get really good deals in staying, though the lift ticket is still not cheap, 430 RMB a or some $60-65 a day. Much more in busy season).

First thing - the service is awesome! Super friendly and so happy to help accommodate any requests such as transport, rentals etc. The cleaning ladies, the driver and the lady who organised everything through wechat were awesome 👍 Accommodation is modern, clean and very comfortable. We slept 5 guys in the villa with no issues and we all loved it! 24hr mini shop next door and a little cafe with really friendly people for your morning coffee before hitting the slopes. 7am - 10pm free transport around the resort, just drop them a wechat message. 2 minutes shuttle to the slopes. I cant rate it any higher - for the money, this place is top notch!
Holiday Inn Express Changbaishan

Changbai Mountain Wanda Resort
So if you are coming here, you are going to Wanda Ski Resort. There are so many many hotels in the area that it really doesn't matter so much which one you pick. Holiday Inn is one of the furthest away from the resort, but the price reflects this. However, it is still only a 10-15min walk (even when it's cold and icy) from the resort. The hotel is busy, there will be wait for the front desk, this is why service got 4/5, but the actual information from staff was okay (no English though so god bless my Chinese partner) The hotel has a mini cinema, a restaurant and access to the ski slopes. You can hire ski's, snowboards along with all the boots and clothing required so you don't need to worry about that. In the hotel is the rental place, you rent your gear and you simply walk out of the hotel and you are at the ski slopes. Please note this is NOT the same 10min walk to Wanda ski resort, the hotel has its own access to the mountain and you use that. The restaurant is fine and breakfast was a buffet with mainly Chinese but some western stuff too. The room, it's not large, but not cramped. Very warm, we even needed the windows open at -40C outside to avoid being too hot. There is a mini supermarket in the hotel, but a better 24 hour store across the road. I think for the money paid compared to other hotels, its very good value. Maybe other hotels have bigger rooms or more restaurants, but as every hotel is next to each other, I wouldn't bother paying more to get one closer to the resort as you can save thousands of RMB for a 1 min walk. And as most of your time will be spent in Wanda ski resort, you won't be in your room much. I doubt I would return to Changbaishan / Wanda Ski resort as an area, but if I did, then as long as the value was still there, Holiday Inn Express is a good enough choice
No.8 Hotel (Gongzhuling High-speed Railway Station)

Stayed for the second time, the health and environment are very good, the only thing is that the bathroom does not have an exhaust fan. The meals provided are really rich, about 16 kinds of dishes, 7 or 8 staple foods, plus milk and millet porridge are very good

Changbai Mountain North Area
Because the twin room was sold out, the boss upgraded me to a parent-child room for free. The pillows and bed were very comfortable. The end of the rafting was right outside the window. The view was very good. There were small animals, deer and roe deer in the garden. Free pick-up and drop-off service was also available. They could also take you to the Beipo distribution center for 10 yuan per person. There was a restaurant in the hotel where you could order food or go to town to eat. Overall, it was very comfortable.
