The room was very spacious. We arrived quite late, well past midnight, but the front desk quickly checked us in. After we checked out, the front desk called to let us know we'd left a power cord behind and immediately offered to mail it to us via WeChat. However, since it was for our child's constant-temperature kettle, we decided to go back and pick it up. The hotel's service was warm, thoughtful, and proactive, with a very positive attitude. The breakfast staff were also incredibly enthusiastic. We were very satisfied with this stay!

Xinxin at the front desk provided exceptional service. They upgraded our room for us, fearing that we might not be comfortable with the heating system. They assigned us a room on a higher floor, which was also very quiet. Xinxin was genuinely friendly and the room was clean and tidy. Experiencing the local customs and culture in Northeast China was very warm. The hotel’s location, with a mountain to the left and the Changying Film Museum across the street, is excellent. The breakfast was also quite good. We would definitely come back if given the opportunity.

We paid to upgrade to a bigger room and have zero regrets! It was incredibly spacious and lovely. We were floored the moment we walked in and the curtains opened to reveal those stunning floor-to-ceiling windows.
The in-house bar was another highlight—a cozy cafe by day that transforms into a cool bar at night. We ended up spending four hours there! Our bartender, Xiaoya, was so young and energetic we. You can really feel her hard work and passion; we had a great time drinking and sharing life stories with her. Also, the local food recommendation from the receptionist was superb. Everything about this hotel and Yanji exceeded expectations—we definitely should have planned a longer stay!
The only downside was the water temperature; it kept fluctuating between hot and cold, making us feel like we were doing the 'cha-cha' in the shower! To make matters worse, the hairdryer was broken and we couldn't reach the front desk by phone. Luckily, my boyfriend went down to grab a replacement. (I suspect they might unplug the phones at night for safety reason?) Despite those hiccups, I’d love to come back. Yanji is so underrated

I stayed here for several consecutive days and was very satisfied. Every staff member I met greeted me warmly, and I especially want to commend Ivy for her help during my stay. I wanted to experience different room types, so I booked several different rooms. Ivy proactively asked about my preferred time to switch rooms and, once the new room was clean, she notified me and sent over the key card. Her service-mindedness is truly excellent. I highly recommend everyone to stay here. It's in the city center, making it convenient to go anywhere, and The MixC is just across the street, solving all your dining and shopping needs. It's fantastic!

As expected from a long-standing five-star hotel, Changchun Shangri-La's service and facilities are impeccable! The hotel is located in the city center, and the free underground parking is incredibly convenient, making self-driving stress-free. The king room I stayed in had an amazing view, offering a panoramic cityscape from a high floor. The blackout curtains worked perfectly, and the room was so quiet that even someone who struggles to sleep in new places had a full night's rest. The heated pool at the health club had clean water, and the gym was well-equipped, allowing me to relax and unwind during my trip. The staff were proactive and enthusiastic throughout, paying attention to every detail. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Changchun!

I really need to write a thorough review for this one! First and foremost, a huge thank you to my butler, James Mu Xueman. She's an absolutely wonderful young lady – so attentive, responsible, and kind. As a mom from the south, bringing my child to Wanda for skiing, my kid had a full and happy time staying here for several days. Skiing, playing in the snow, and soaking in the hot springs were all fantastic. The JinHua Resort Hotel is incredibly, unbelievably convenient. I originally booked the Park Hyatt, but then I heard from others that it was a bit far from the ski town. I'm so glad I switched to JinHua! The price was half that of the Park Hyatt, and most importantly, it couldn't be more convenient when traveling with kids – the ski center and restaurants in town are right next door! The room view was also super good. Xueman saw that I liked honey, so she had the housekeeper send up a few more bottles – one a day, making every day sweet! The room was also very clean, and the bed was huge. Even though it was more expensive over the Chinese New Year holiday, the included ski benefits and many other entertainment options made it really worth it. We hired three one-on-one ski instructors, and my child learned very quickly, always wanting more skiing each day. I will definitely choose JinHua Resort Hotel again for my next visit! I hope I'll get to meet Xueman again!
Room was clean and new, Breakfast is good
Location is a bit far from town center, but you can travel to anywhere in the town by DiDi.
Recommend for traveller who planned to visit Changbaishan North side.
Additionally, There is a black cat who stay in front of hotel. Please kindly give her some cat food and clean water. She is very cute. (Cat food can be bought near the hotel). Thank you for your kindness.
Hygiene: Cleanliness was poor. Upon opening the window for ventilation, I found a pile of dead mosquitoes on the windowsill.
Environment: The riverfront location offers a truly beautiful view.
Facilities: The fully smart toilet was a nice touch, and the electric frosted glass was also great. However, the lack of electric curtains felt a bit low-tech, and the hairdryer was so terrible it seemed like a cheap, points-redeemed item.
Service: Service was generally average. Front desk check-in/out was standard, but the restaurant service was noticeably better, and room service was also good.
Double Bathing Package: This was quite misleading. It easily gave the impression of including a hot tub and scrubbing service, but in reality, it was just a shower.
Daily First Round Mini-bar Privilege: Completely forgettable and amounted to nothing.
500ml Craft Beer Voucher (Belgian/Pilsner, choose one): I ended up throwing this away. Offering a complimentary beer but then imposing time restrictions is just absurd.
I frequently travel to Changchun for business, and this was my first time staying at this hotel. Overall, I had a great experience. The service was excellent, very warm and friendly, and they were always willing to help with any request. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a refrigerator magnet when I checked out.
The facilities are new and very clean. Even though it was cold outside in the north, the room was so warm that I only needed to wear a short-sleeved shirt. While the constant heating made it a bit dry, being able to open the window made a big difference and was much more comfortable.
The location is fantastic, right next to Xinmin Street. Strolling along Xinmin Street at night is incredibly romantic, and the well-maintained Manchurian-era buildings on both sides give you a strong sense of stepping back in time. Oya New World across the street is very convenient for dining and shopping, but I highly recommend walking about 15 minutes to the Oya Supermarket. The B1 floor there is amazing for local specialties – so much delicious food! Yuanshengju Hotpot is also very close to the hotel; I had my first meal there. The portions are huge and affordable, and I even packed some lamb to take home on my last day! Guilin Road Night Market is only about a 15-minute walk away too! The location is truly unbeatable!
The breakfast was also good, mostly Chinese style, and definitely filling. Overall, this is a very good hotel, and I would consider staying here again!
Just a small suggestion: the room facilities could use a bit more maintenance. I hope they pay more attention to that.
When I was planning my trip, I looked at a lot of hotels. Honestly, we rarely choose hotels that have been operating for a very long time when we travel. However, after seeing many bloggers' recommendations and explanations, I ultimately chose the Crown Plaza 👑.
**Facilities:** The decor is indeed an older style, but I have to say, the hotel's facilities were incredibly detailed and sophisticated for their time. This hotel must have been considered super luxurious when it first opened. First, it has a wet/dry separation in the bathroom, which many new hotels and even five-star establishments don't necessarily offer. Second, the sink faucets are positioned high, which saves most of us from back strain. Third, there are hooks outside the shower for hanging clothes – such a simple amenity, yet many hotels lack a place for clean clothes while showering. Finally, the shower stall has a built-in seat, the water pressure is strong, the water is hot and comfortable, and the showerhead isn't wobbly from long-term use.
**Environment:** It's located mid-slope on Changbai Mountain. I asked the driver, and he said the Crown Plaza is already one of the highest hotels on the mountain in the vicinity, surrounded by pristine forests. It's the closest hotel to the North Slope scenic area and even offers an exclusive VIP transfer channel. There's also a shuttle bus that circulates within the scenic area to pick up and drop off guests at the hotel. What I loved most is that Julong Hot Springs is right inside the hotel, offering unlimited free access to natural volcanic springs, which washes away a day's fatigue. It's incredibly pleasant to soak in the warm, comfortable hot spring while watching the snowy world outside.
**Service:** Super-duper VIP! Even before I checked in, various butler services contacted me to arrange everything before and after my stay, including hotel transfers, booking my itinerary for the next day, and VIP transfers to the North Slope. Whatever difficulties I encountered, they were immediately handled. A huge thank you to hotel butlers Shanqiu and Songyue, and travel butler Smile, for making guests feel at home and alleviating the anxiety of arriving in an unfamiliar city. 🙏 To all the hotel staff, everyone shines in their role! 👍👍

WWoshicaomaoThe room is absolutely beautiful, perfect for photos – every shot looks like it belongs in a magazine! Our butler, Coco, deserves a super five-star rating. She was incredibly responsive, answering all our questions quickly and thoughtfully, and took such good care of us. Having her really saved us a lot of hassle on this trip. 👍👍
I also want to praise the hotel's breakfast. The fact that they offer takeaway boxes and bags is so thoughtful! Sometimes my child sleeps in a bit longer, so being able to pack breakfast and take it back to the room is a huge convenience!
The perks were great too, including free skiing, evening bonfire parties, a float parade, and the interesting iron fireworks show. 👍
On the downside, the soundproofing in the villa area isn't the best, that's true. Also, for such an expensive hotel, I honestly suggest they provide higher-end hairdryers. 😂😂

**Facilities:** The facilities are all very new and complete. The all-wood decor gives a very comfortable and pleasing aesthetic.
**Cleanliness:** The cleanliness is excellent. The surrounding areas are very well-maintained, and every nook, cranny, and surface is wiped clean. The cleanliness inside the room was beyond reproach – very nice.
**Environment:** Overall, it's a very serene and relaxing place, incredibly pleasant, perfect for small gatherings. The surroundings are peaceful and quiet, and the snowy scenery outside with the trees is truly beautiful.
**Service:** The staff here provide excellent service, paying great attention to detail. They even noticed small things for me. They were cheerful and smiled a lot. They were very professional when explaining all the benefits.
**Overall:** This hotel offers great value for money. It includes VIP access to the mountain, so there's absolutely no need to queue. They also offer high-speed rail transfer, picking you up directly from the station to the hotel. The breakfast is delicious. They even gave us a complimentary hot spring experience, and this hot spring is truly beautiful and so comfortable; a soak left me feeling completely refreshed.
**Experience Details:**
* **2 adults 1 child Hot Spring by the Stream (Volcano Hot Spring) experience once:** Thumbs up!👍
* **Changbai Mountain High-Speed Rail Station Transfer Service (3 hours advance booking required):** Thumbs up!👍
* **2 adults 1 child Changbai Mountain North Scenic Area VIP Channel (tickets and transport fees need to be purchased separately):** Thumbs up!👍
3313d9I stayed here in Dalian, and it was excellent and very convenient. The community was quiet, with complete facilities, and pet-friendly. My beloved pet could play happily downstairs, and parking was super convenient. There was a buffet breakfast, which wasn't available when I booked, but the owner kindly added it for us. The breakfast was perfect for us—home-style, light, and delicious. I would definitely stay here again if I had the chance. Changbai Mountain isn't very big, so getting around is easy. I think this community has the best location—quiet yet convenient. The air quality is superb; the air throughout Changbai Mountain is always fresh. 100% satisfied! Thank you, owner!

WWojiaoaqiqibaThe hotel is quite new, so new that there's a slight hint of formaldehyde smell, but it's tolerable. The location isn't very central; you'll need to drive to get to the more lively areas for meals, and you might hit traffic during rush hour. The room size is normal, and it has all the standard amenities. The windows don't open, which is why there's an air purifier in the room, and a humidifier too. One small thing, though, is that the previous guest in our room must have smoked a lot, as the smell still lingers.
