We paid to upgrade to a bigger room and have zero regrets! It was incredibly spacious and lovely. We were floored the moment we walked in and the curtains opened to reveal those stunning floor-to-ceiling windows. The in-house bar was another highlight—a cozy cafe by day that transforms into a cool bar at night. We ended up spending four hours there! Our bartender, Xiaoya, was so young and energetic we. You can really feel her hard work and passion; we had a great time drinking and sharing life stories with her. Also, the local food recommendation from the receptionist was superb. Everything about this hotel and Yanji exceeded expectations—we definitely should have planned a longer stay! The only downside was the water temperature; it kept fluctuating between hot and cold, making us feel like we were doing the 'cha-cha' in the shower! To make matters worse, the hairdryer was broken and we couldn't reach the front desk by phone. Luckily, my boyfriend went down to grab a replacement. (I suspect they might unplug the phones at night for safety reason?) Despite those hiccups, I’d love to come back. Yanji is so underrated

I was really impressed by the hotel's service during this stay! As soon as we arrived in the lobby, a staff member immediately came over to help with our luggage. The front desk attendant was incredibly patient and thorough during check-in; she not only processed everything quickly but also proactively asked about our preferences and thoughtfully upgraded us to a room with a better view. The hotel rooms even have Type-C outlets. During our stay, when the mini-fridge in our room ran out of drinks, I called housekeeping, and they refilled it in less than ten minutes. Such warm and thoughtful service truly makes you feel comfortable. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip!

The room was very spacious. We arrived quite late, well past midnight, but the front desk quickly checked us in. After we checked out, the front desk called to let us know we'd left a power cord behind and immediately offered to mail it to us via WeChat. However, since it was for our child's constant-temperature kettle, we decided to go back and pick it up. The hotel's service was warm, thoughtful, and proactive, with a very positive attitude. The breakfast staff were also incredibly enthusiastic. We were very satisfied with this stay!

Room was clean and new, Breakfast is good Location is a bit far from town center, but you can travel to anywhere in the town by DiDi. Recommend for traveller who planned to visit Changbaishan North side. Additionally, There is a black cat who stay in front of hotel. Please kindly give her some cat food and clean water. She is very cute. (Cat food can be bought near the hotel). Thank you for your kindness.

I stayed here for several consecutive days and was very satisfied. Every staff member I met greeted me warmly, and I especially want to commend Ivy for her help during my stay. I wanted to experience different room types, so I booked several different rooms. Ivy proactively asked about my preferred time to switch rooms and, once the new room was clean, she notified me and sent over the key card. Her service-mindedness is truly excellent. I highly recommend everyone to stay here. It's in the city center, making it convenient to go anywhere, and The MixC is just across the street, solving all your dining and shopping needs. It's fantastic!

This is the second time we stay in this hotel. Staff is friendly and helpfu as usual, and rooms are confortable. We appreciate the location, as the metro station is downright under the hotel building and there are a lot of small restaurants for breakfast or dinner nearby. Unfortunatelly, because of winter temperature, we could not enjoy the rooftop.

When I was planning my trip, I looked at a lot of hotels. Honestly, we rarely choose hotels that have been operating for a very long time when we travel. However, after seeing many bloggers' recommendations and explanations, I ultimately chose the Crown Plaza 👑. **Facilities:** The decor is indeed an older style, but I have to say, the hotel's facilities were incredibly detailed and sophisticated for their time. This hotel must have been considered super luxurious when it first opened. First, it has a wet/dry separation in the bathroom, which many new hotels and even five-star establishments don't necessarily offer. Second, the sink faucets are positioned high, which saves most of us from back strain. Third, there are hooks outside the shower for hanging clothes – such a simple amenity, yet many hotels lack a place for clean clothes while showering. Finally, the shower stall has a built-in seat, the water pressure is strong, the water is hot and comfortable, and the showerhead isn't wobbly from long-term use. **Environment:** It's located mid-slope on Changbai Mountain. I asked the driver, and he said the Crown Plaza is already one of the highest hotels on the mountain in the vicinity, surrounded by pristine forests. It's the closest hotel to the North Slope scenic area and even offers an exclusive VIP transfer channel. There's also a shuttle bus that circulates within the scenic area to pick up and drop off guests at the hotel. What I loved most is that Julong Hot Springs is right inside the hotel, offering unlimited free access to natural volcanic springs, which washes away a day's fatigue. It's incredibly pleasant to soak in the warm, comfortable hot spring while watching the snowy world outside. **Service:** Super-duper VIP! Even before I checked in, various butler services contacted me to arrange everything before and after my stay, including hotel transfers, booking my itinerary for the next day, and VIP transfers to the North Slope. Whatever difficulties I encountered, they were immediately handled. A huge thank you to hotel butlers Shanqiu and Songyue, and travel butler Smile, for making guests feel at home and alleviating the anxiety of arriving in an unfamiliar city. 🙏 To all the hotel staff, everyone shines in their role! 👍👍

The hotel staff were all exceptionally friendly, making our stay a pleasant one. On our check-in day, which was the Mid-Autumn Festival, they even gave us small mooncakes. Although it's an older hotel, it was clean, hygienic, comfortable, and quiet. We saw many photos of national leaders and important figures on the hotel walls. The location is also excellent, right by the river, just a short taxi ride (5 yuan is incredibly cheap!) from the famous ”Instagrammable” wall. We especially loved the hotel breakfast; it was so plentiful we didn't need to go to the morning market. It had all the usual local specialties: bibimbap, warm noodles, rice cakes, rice rolls, tofu, and various kimchi. The staff even made the rice rolls on the spot – they were delicious and not too sweet. We ate our fill and headed home satisfied. Very satisfied!

I've lived nearby for years, and after decades, I finally got the chance to stay here 😂. My room was upgraded, and the fruit platter and complimentary drinks were a nice touch 😊😊. **Facilities:** It was just renovated last year, so everything feels very new. The hallways are spacious, and each floor even has a lounge area. The rooms are all smart-controlled 👍. (Cons: There are only two elevators, the automatic toilet flush sometimes doesn't respond and finding the manual flush is a bit awkward. There's no place to hang towels in the bathroom, and the bathroom/toilet/shower doors are all very heavy and make a loud noise when opened or closed. The shower leaks water from the door crack). **Cleanliness:** Excellent. **Environment:** Excellent, with free parking 👍. **Service:** Excellent! The front desk staff were very enthusiastic. When they learned we didn't need tickets for the Liu Laogen Grand Stage, they gave us a complimentary drink voucher for the lobby bar. The lobby bar also has a great atmosphere!

DDamaoG2I booked a Garden King Room at the Swissôtel for 2 nights. Our butler, Kitty, messaged me on WeChat the night before, arranging a high-speed rail pick-up service from Changchun to Changbaishan West Station. I mentioned it was my child's birthday on the check-in day, and Kitty thoughtfully prepared a birthday cake and arranged a room with a snow view, which was very considerate. The room itself was decent and had good space, though the shower pressure was a bit low, likely due to the hotel's age. Its main advantage is its proximity to the ski resort, and the villa area offers fantastic photo opportunities with great snowy scenery. Compared to the Wanda area, it's less crowded here, though commercial options and dining choices are more limited. As a beginner, I found the skiing experience excellent. The coach guided me through getting the ski card and renting all the equipment. Overall, the hotel's service was very good, and our butler Kitty was always responsive. On our last day, after boarding the bus to the airport, I realized I'd left my backpack in the lobby. I contacted Kitty, and she immediately drove to meet the bus at the next hotel stop. I'm truly grateful to her! Her service deserves high praise! My child had a very happy birthday too!

GGuest UserI chose Wanda Resort Hotel specifically for a family trip with my kids, aiming for a hassle-free vacation. The resort offers comprehensive services and amenities, with a wide variety of activities. Booking one room includes seven services, such as transportation shuttle, skiing, water park access, hot springs, and other water activities. However, there are a few personal experiences I'd like to share. First, the Wanda shuttle from the high-speed rail station is very convenient. Wanda Resort is a vast mountainside area, and the Park Hyatt is located a bit inside the entrance, which also means it's relatively further from the hot springs. While there are free shuttle buses every hour and half-hour from the hotel entrance, they can get very crowded and are often not punctual. You have to wait at the entrance on the dot; if you miss it, you either wait for the next half-hour or try to flag down a ride yourself. You might be able to use ride-hailing apps in Changbaishan Station's Erdaobaihe area, but they're almost useless here. Taxis don't use meters; they all charge a flat rate of 10 yuan, and most places are only about 2 kilometers apart. The Park Hyatt's facilities are a bit dated, though the cleanliness is decent. But because of the hot springs, the bathroom in the room is hardly used. The pillows in the room are too high, not at all friendly for children or people with cervical spine issues. Many hotels offer a combination of a fluffy high pillow and a flat one; I hope this can be improved. Hotel benefits also require you to check in first to claim them, and you need to do it yourself on your phone. This might be a bit complicated for seniors traveling with children. Every time you go to an activity, you have to open the mini-program to find and redeem your benefits. In this freezing cold, minus 30-degree weather, you really don't want to take out your phone because it can easily run out of battery and become slow. I hope the resort can improve this by using room cards, quoting phone numbers, or issuing wristbands as identifiers, because a dead phone in winter is practically equivalent to being 'stranded' outside. Liu, the hotel manager, was proactive in providing information to guests and answered all questions, offering excellent service. Although we encountered two minor incidents during our stay, like the TV in our room having been unplugged by the previous guest – when our child couldn't turn it on and we called the front desk, the housekeeping staff helped us resolve it. Another incident was when I had just gotten into the water at 11 PM, and housekeeping urgently rang my doorbell, only to find out they had mistakenly delivered a quilt to the wrong room. The hotel breakfast was quite ordinary. Perhaps it was due to the peak season during the winter break, but my experience wasn't great – too many people and no particularly impressive dishes. Finally, the hotel's airport shuttle bus doesn't depart on the hour, but rather at times scheduled according to the day's flights, usually three hours in advance. Since the hotel is only 30 minutes from the airport, I misjudged the time and missed the bus, ending up taking a taxi for 60 yuan. If you really can't flag down a taxi, you can ask the hotel front desk to call one for you, but they'll charge more than if you negotiate yourself – 80 yuan, which the front desk staff kindly informed me.

GGuest UserOur first stop in Changbai Mountain was the Wanda JinHua Resort Hotel. The service started even before check-in, with the butler proactively contacting me to provide important information. Upon arrival at Changbai Mountain West Station, there was a complimentary shuttle bus waiting for us. Check-in was incredibly smooth; we were able to get into our room by 12 PM, and the butler even helped us arrange a late check-out, which was a nice touch. Although the hotel's decor is a bit dated, it still maintains an overall elegant and sophisticated feel. The mattress was exceptionally comfortable, and from the window of our king-sized room, we had a view of the ski resort outside. The hotel provided numerous benefits, including skiing, hot springs, and access to the water park. Since Changbai Mountain was closed due to heavy snowfall for a few days, we spent all three days at the Wanda Resort. We used one of our passes for night skiing and another one during the day to take the cable car up General Mountain for sightseeing, where there was even a coffee shop at the summit. Due to time constraints, we didn't get to visit the hot springs or the water park, but we signed up for a hiking tour recommended by the hotel, which was an amazing experience. It's worth mentioning that the breakfast at JinHua Hotel was excellent! The coffee was particularly delicious, and they even had fruits and noodle soups that catered to southern palates. The resort town also boasts many great restaurants. We had some ginseng chicken soup, which was wonderfully warming, and the restaurant owners even offered complimentary rides back to the hotel. Even though we didn't get to visit Changbai Mountain itself, we had an unforgettable three days at the JinHua Resort Hotel and the Wanda Resort. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit!

GGuest UserThis hotel is truly special. Tucked away in the middle of a forest, it has an incredible atmosphere — peaceful, quiet, and perfect if you want to disconnect and relax in nature. What really sets this place apart is the staff. They are exceptionally kind and helpful. Because the location is quite remote and difficult to navigate on your own, they went out of their way to help us arrange travel plans and explore the surrounding area smoothly. I was especially touched by how they helped me organize a birthday surprise. They even went to town to buy a cake and brought it back to the hotel — something that’s not easy here, especially since delivery services like ******* don’t operate in this area. That level of care and thoughtfulness made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique, serene stay with truly outstanding service

MManish HKThis hotel have spacious service apartments, rooms are big, clean, hotel staff is always helpful. 10 min car ride from chang bai shan railway station. Issues I faced : there is a huge taxi shortage in the city during the peak tourist season, one days even i had to walk 3.3 kilometres in - 15 degrees temperatures to reach to downtown , DIDI and T3 service works here but taxi waiting is normally 40 min to 1 hour long. As a forigner the Hotel location was little odd for me and lots of precious time wasted in taxi waiting, breakfast location is 300 metres far from room, which was not convenient as me and family didn't want to walk in - 20 degree temperature to eat breakfast, I stayed 5 days, but only 2 days I dare to go for breakfast. For stay this place is so good, so clean, warm. If you have your car, then no issue at all.

SSH_TanThis is a new hotel. The room was spacious with comfortable furnishings, and there was plenty of space to lay out our luggage. The bathtub was also very clean; I wiped it down and didn't see any discoloration. The staff at the hotel entrance were very enthusiastic and proactive in helping us with the car doors for getting in and out. Thank you for your hard work! One time, one of them even quickly carried my sleeping child from the car door into the lobby to prevent him from catching a cold on a chilly winter night. A big thank you to them! (Of course, I thanked him directly at the time, hehe). On the day we checked in, they even upgraded our room. The upgraded room was very large, and the floor was high enough to offer a distant street view. The young man who helped us take our luggage to room 913 on December 28th was also very professional and enthusiastically recommended must-visit attractions and dining spots in Changchun. Thank you for leaving us with such a wonderful impression of the people and things in Changchun. The smart toilet in the room was also very good. The only issue I reported to the front desk, about the slow drainage in the shower, was immediately resolved, which is highly commendable. Because of all these good impressions, I can still remember them weeks after returning home. You can book with confidence; I'm truly satisfied. Keep up the great work!
