It’s a new but safe area, only takes 10 minutes walk to the famous Fengchia night market, the market by the way is so vibrant until almost midnight and shops open till quite late.
The hotel has a bar zone at the lobby with different cocktails and drinks, it’s good to énjoy drinks there and enclosing your travelling trip after a late night stroll at the nearby night market for food and snacks, a bit of shopping, etc.
The hotel room has simple and minimalist design, toilet is clean with good quality shampoo and shower gel.
The room rate is reasonable and will recommend friends to stay here.

This hotel is located in Kenting's Little Bay, just across the road from Little Bay Beach, and the bus stop is also very close by. The hotel's breakfast spread is fantastic, and the seafood buffet for dinner offers great value for money. The best part is that the restaurant has a window overlooking the ocean (Picture 1), adding a wonderful ambiance to dinner. The hotel's garden is a lovely spot to relax (Picture 2). The swimming pool in the garden was under maintenance, so to compensate guests, the hotel organized some fun activities, like a night crab-hunting trip on the beach. We scared all the crabs away, and only a bunch of hermit crabs (Picture 3) stayed to play with us! ☺️

I didn't know what to expect at first but it turned out to be a good choice. For the discounted price i got the room for, it was so worth it. Room was spacious, clean, comfortable as well as the beds. Bathroom/toilet were spacious. Loved the smart toilet, just like those in Japan. Push button double blinds. There was even a full size couch in the room. No unpleasant smell in and out of the bedroom, hallways. Lobby looked classy. Nothing really negative about the hotel. Staff were nice. Location is great. Just beside train station.
It's a great place to stay given its price. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

This was the most unforgettable night of my entire trip to Taiwan. After staying in five different hotels, the Grand Hotel definitely ranks number one for me. The service attitude was excellent; the luggage staff helped with my bags as soon as I got out of the car, and then brought them to my room after check-in. Their smiles were warm, and their service was very professional. The front desk service was equally impressive, upgrading my room and adding a small, simple touch – two swans folded from towels on the bed – which was a pleasant surprise. The Grand Hotel truly offers a blend of professionalism and warmth. While the facilities might not be the absolute best, I believe their service and professionalism are on par with world-class luxury hotels. The shuttle service at Yuanshan Station makes transportation quite convenient. From my room, I could see Taipei 101 and planes taking off from Songshan Airport. The soundproofing was excellent; it wasn't noisy at all. Five stars don't even begin to express my praise for this hotel. If I have another chance to visit Taipei, the Grand Hotel will still be my top choice.
Good sized room with comfortable King sized bed. Room and bathroom were very clean, however the glass windows were super dirty (way overdue for an external facade cleaning). Check out was smooth just need to drop room key into drop box at the lobby but the pre-arranged hotel airport shuttle was disappointing. The shuttle ran out of seats even with pre-booking with no staff to check if others had made a booking before boarding. I and another guest whom had prebooked the shuttle had to wait for another driver to bring his car around to send us to the airport. We had to unload our suitcase from the first shuttle too.

Rooms were excellent, sparkling clean, although the A/C was a bit smelly in the winter. We asked for a dehumidifier. Breakfast was very good, although continental breakfast was a bit limited as is often the case in Taiwan. Staff didn’t really speak English, so for everything that wxceed the standard check-in your I’ll need to use your phone to translate. Washing machine was not free (we payed 50 NTD total), laundry detergent is free though.

The hotel has a lot of character, and the front desk service was exceptional! I accidentally caught a cold in the middle of the night, and they even gave me cold medicine, which was incredibly kind of them!
Hotel was very nice. Location is great and services were excellent. We will surely come back for another visit in this hotel. There were so many local food to eat around here hotel.

The location is excellent—very close to the MRT and the Japanese district. The hotel is clean, has no unpleasant odors, and provides a water dispenser and many snacks.
Note : The beds are extremely hard; my friend and I woke up with back pain every day. Also, the AC temperature isn't adjustable, making the room freezing cold. Additionally, the room is quite dark.

For the location, it's quite far out from the center of Hualien. So you will need to hail a taxi or call the reception desk to book a shuttle bus to pick you up from the station and to the station. Another thing to know is that Uber doesn't work here so you will need to download another app or just physically hail a taxi.
However, this is the best hotel I've stayed so far in Taiwan. The room & toilet are extremely spacious and clean. There is a lot of facilities in this hotel that includes a free pool table, ping pong table and swimming pool for you to enjoy.
The breakfast buffet is also quite good with a lot of selection as well.

Great location for the kentin night market and the beach, friendly staff, clean room, and good breakfast! Will xome to stay next time😍
Hotel is quite nice, staff was very friendly and room as clean and equipped nicely. Breakfast was expansive with a good selection for everyone. The location is within walking distance to many things. We took a nice walk to the science park area and visited one of the local temples. There is also a nice speakeasy bar within 10 min walk (kind of hidden past the starbucks up the hill). I would definitely recommend this hotel to business visitors or tourists as well.
It was such a relaxing and enjoyable experience! This hotel really checked all the boxes for a comfortable and family-friendly getaway. The highlight for us was the tatami-style bed in the room. It’s low to the ground, which made it absolutely perfect for our toddler and 1-year-old. We didn’t have to worry about them rolling off the bed, and it even doubled as a safe, spacious play area during the day. The kids loved crawling and jumping around, and we parents could relax knowing they were safe. The private hot spring in our room was the best part of the stay. After a long day of traveling and exploring, being able to soak in the hot spring was exactly what we needed. It was clean, spacious, and perfect for unwinding while the kids napped or played. Orient Luxury Hotel in Jiaoxi is a fantastic choice for families, especially those with young kids. The tatami-style beds, private hot spring, and thoughtful service made our stay both relaxing and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a comfortable, family-friendly hotel in Yilan, this is definitely a great option. We left feeling refreshed and can’t wait to come back for another visit! The grandparents especially loved it—it was so convenient for them to enjoy the hot spring without having to leave the room. It really helped us recharge for the next day! The breakfast buffet was great! There was a good mix of Western and local Taiwanese dishes, and everything was fresh and delicious. The kids enjoyed the pancakes and fruit, while the grandparents appreciated the traditional congee and hot tea.
During my recent stay at the Sheraton Grand Taipei Hotel in an executive suite, I experienced unparalleled luxury and comfort that transformed my visit into an enchanting retreat. From the moment I arrived, the warm and welcoming staff set the tone for an exceptional experience. The executive suite was spacious and elegantly appointed, boasting stunning views of the bustling city skyline. The modern decor combined with thoughtful amenities made the space feel like a home away from home. Comfortable furnishings, including a plush king-sized bed, provided a perfect place to unwind after a busy day of exploring Taipei. One of the highlights of the suite was the access to the Executive Lounge. The atmosphere was both sophisticated and relaxed, offering complimentary breakfast and evening cocktails with a selection of delicious hors d'oeuvres. It was a lovely way to mingle with fellow guests while enjoying breathtaking sunset views! The attentive lounge staff went above and beyond, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. In addition to the suite’s luxurious accommodations and the Executive Lounge, the hotel’s facilities were top-notch. I enjoyed a refreshing dip in the pool and a revitalizing workout at the fitness center. The variety of dining options available on-site, including an exquisite Chinese restaurant, allowed me to indulge in both local flavors and international cuisine. The Sheraton Grand Taipei Hotel is perfectly located, making it easy to explore the vibrant city. Whether you’re in town for business or leisure, this hotel offers a unique blend of comfort, elegance, and exceptional service. I left feeling rejuvenated and eager to return, having experienced a perfect blend of relaxation and exploration. I wholeheartedly recommend staying in the executive suite for an unforgettable Taipei experience!
Great breakfast, like many other guests have commented, not a huge variety but they have all the necessary ingredients for a filling breakfast buffet and all food taste good! Swimming pool and gym are both comfortable and huge The only problem is it isn’t too close to the metro but I come here for business trip so it’s fine for me
