Hotels With Bars in San Jose, Costa Rica

It's a very large youth hostel. After checking in, I stayed in the building opposite. Then I could use the swimming pool and kitchen of the youth hostel next door. It seems that they have the same owner. The bathroom is the largest among the dozens of youth hostels I have stayed in so far. It's a very comfortable environment.

Thanks to Trip.com staff for coordinating the check-in time and adjusting the quiet room in time. The front desk staff of the hotel has a young lady's professionalism and is better to find the staff to connect to Wi-Fi in time.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the The Radisson San Jose hotel. Breakfast was delicious. The dinners that I had at the hotel were memorable. The front desk and dining staff were exceptional. I highly recommend the Radisson San Jose hotel.

Samsung price, five-star feeling! More than expected! First of all, the location is excellent in the downtown area. Go out and turn right for 2 minutes on the main street, diagonally opposite the Costa Rican National Museum. Turn right on the main street and walk for about 5 minutes. It is a variety of restaurants and tea supermarkets in Chinatown. It is great! Yanyan Chinatown and then walk a street ahead is the National Grand Theatre and Commercial Street, Central Park and the main church. Secondly, the room is clean, comfortable, spacious and bright, great! The breakfast variety provided is simple but the dining environment and food are satisfactory enough! All the staff are warm, friendly and thoughtful, making people feel like spring breeze, five-star praise! It's a decent hotel with a lot of details that aren't quite right. The rooms are comfortable and the beds are excellent. The maid didn't empty the trash cans during our two-night stay, nor was the shampoo ever refilled in the dispenser in the shower. There are no carpets or rugs in the room so you're constantly walking on luxury vinyl plank flooring with wet feet. After you get out of the shower. There are no Kleenex boxes or dispensers in the room, and the TV programming was difficult to decipher, especially the secondary audio program in order to listen to the TV in English rather than Spanish. Also, the closed captioning never worked on the TV

The hotel is located in the center of San Jose. Downstairs is a main pedestrian street. It is convenient to eat and go shopping. It may be because of the country's reasons. The hotel feels old and it feels a little unsafe to go out at night. The hotel is decorated in an old-fashioned style, and the hotel lobby is on the second floor, very retro style. The breakfast is relatively rich, but after two days of eating, I feel that there is nothing to eat. It may be that the Chinese stomach is not used to it. Fruit, juice, coffee, a lot of milk, this is great. The bathroom in the hotel has only a shower head, which is very inconvenient. In addition, the drinking water is installed by the hotel itself, and it is always not safe to drink.

King room with city view, 14 floor: 2 nights. July * You will hear the music from the bar across the park until 3am. Not much noises from the regular city streets. * No fresh air available in this hotel. All the windows are sealed. * No fridge, no Netflix. But plenty of english channels on tv. * good internet. * excellent hot water, and water pressure. * small gym ok, but no windows, and tv was not working. * nice indoor pool, but water too cold for me. No windows but a clear dome. * breakfast have ok choices, not much for a vegetarian. * restaurant expensive like any other hotel, but the staff is sympathic. * free parking. * very nice staff. * reservation with Trip.com was a complication, they didn't have my reservation. Took 1h to check-in. At the check-out they charged me the room that was already paid on Trip.com, had to ask for a refund, which they did, no arguying but a lot of explanations and proof of payment... but the staff was really polite and helpful. * only 1 person working at the counter for check-in and check-out.. * easy to walk everywhere. * easy to navigate with google map or waze.

Fantastic hotel, looks different. It is traditional design with beautiful drawings. Good wine in the bar.

I stayed in this hotel on a business trip a few years ago. It's not far from the airport and has a nice environment. There's a coffee shop downstairs next door and the transportation is convenient. There was a safety drill on the day before leaving, which was pretty good. It’s more cost-effective to book a breakfast-included package on Ctrip. When I checked in, I didn’t find breakfast at first, but it soon became clear.

Excellent service over WhatsApp, I contacted them with some questions and they answered fast and easy :) Great location for airport transfer in the morning
