This place is perfect and convienient for business stay. Room is very clean, cosy and internet quick enough for any teleconference meeting.Indoor desingn is very elegant.
I enjoyed the swimming pool and sauna. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. There were a few things that let the hotel down. 1)The room was extremely cold and the heater didn’t work so a portable heater was provided but it was an oil one and did nothing for the size of the room. Only remembered it was on when we stood next to it. I have rheumatoid arthritis and the cold really affected me. Especially after going swimming. The other thing was there were no plug sockets on the side where the bed is which was truly bizarre to me in 2024. Having a disability and having to constantly get up to chargers my phone and laptop was too much. I do wish to give the hotel another chance before I say never again so I will book and make sure I get a different room and see how it goes.
Stayed for two nights. The building is relatively old, and the room facilities are at most equivalent to the level of all seasons in China. The sanitary conditions are poor, the toilet is dirty, and the wash basin is blocked and cannot be drained. At 9 o'clock in the evening, the staff got off work and no one came to fix it. I was forced to wash my face and brush my teeth in the bathtub... The breakfast was okay. There was a lake outside and the scenery was beautiful. .

Relax in our sophisticated rooms and suites, each meticulously restored with modern furnishings amidst historic features. Our opulent spa and gym feature holistic wellness treatments, along with an indoor and outdoor pool, a thermal area, fitness programs, and healthful dining selections.
Lovely stay on a Monday night at Crazy Bear Beaconsfield. Only English restaurant was open so marked down the amenities as didn't really use others aside from the restaurant, bar and room. There is a lovely looking pool. Service was good. Mixup with our steak order was quite easily resolved however ended up with a cut of steak I didn't want. Would recommend booking restaurant time before 7pm as between 5-6.45 pm you get 25% off your total bill including alcoholic drinks. Would recommend offering prosecco on the menu. As cheapest champagne was around £100 so on the pricey side in general to eat and drink.
From the moment we arrived at Danesfield House, we were treated extremely well. All of the staff were very helpful and could not do enough for us, even carrying our luggage to our room.
Our room had a beautiful view over the river Thames and hotel gardens and the four poster bed was lovely and comfortable. The bathroom was lovely and clean and their were plenty of towels and toiletries.
I had booked a treatment in the Spa for my wife and all of the staff were amazing. The Spa itself was very nice, and although the jacuzzi was out of action, this did not spoil the experience at all.
Finally, our breakfast was wonderful. We were greeted and shown to our seats immediately. Our order was taken for our choice of breakfast by a lovely waitress and coffee and toast was brought to us by an absolutely wonderful waiter who had the biggest smile that never left his face the entire time we were in the restaurant. He was extremely polite and just made you smile with his infectious enthusiasm for the ”fabulous filter coffee” and the ”terrific toast” (his words, not mine) that he served us. I just wish I had his name to include with this review as he deserves a special mention.
Overall it was a fantastic experience and the right choice of hotel to celebrate my wife's birthday. We will definitely be coming back.
