We are traveling by car, parking is free (parked on the roadside at the entrance of the hotel), the room is spacious, well-equipped, clean and tidy. But there is no toothbrush and toothpaste, this doesn't matter. The key is that the price is cheap and the price is very high. It is convenient and cost-effective for friends who drive. It is very close to the ancient city of Avila and less than an hour away from Segovia. It is recommended.
I reserved it for my parents and they told me it looked quite good in general. They liked breakfast and the care of the workers.
The hotel was very clean and was very clean.
The hotel has its own large car park for easy self-driving tour. The hotel is in an excellent location, overlooking the old town of Salamanca. The hotel restaurant service is very good, the breakfast is rich and the quality is high. The ”Spanish sirloin” in the local dinner set is full of heat and meat, which is worthy of special recommendation. The hotel lobby and room cleaning service maintains the brand's consistently high standard and is satisfactory.
It is the best-located hotel to walk to the Brgos Cathedral and city centre attractions.
It has a luxurious atmosphere and is a clean hotel.
You have to pay for parking, but you can find free parking around the hotel.
But need to check with the hotel.
Facilities: The facilities are great, it is on the mountain, if it is convenient to drive by car, parking is free, the parking lot is large, overlooking the entire Segovia Old Town, the scenery is invincible. Breakfast is full.
Hygienic: Why is it very good? The suite is set. There will be a full set of toiletries.
Environment: Environmental landscape invincible
Service: It is urged when checking out the next day, the overall is great
Stop at this hotel as a stopover, the welcome is perfect. The room is large and well laid out even if it is a little outdated. The restaurant is very pleasant, the choice is limited but sufficient with reasonable prices. We enjoyed dinner.
The breakfast is excellent with a choice of local products in addition to the usual, the room is bright and the waitress friendly and at the service of customers. We were even able to park in front of the hotel for free, €17 per night for underground parking!
After explicitly requesting a double bed, they delivered a double bed room. The breakfast was OK, 2.6 was not bad but was not good or excellent (thing that is expected from a hotel 4*) though it was varied. Although it did not have a meal in the hotel restaurant, the experience was not the best. After my wife and I sat on the table (with affordable prices and expected to be a hotel restaurant) the desk staffer took 3 dishes to the other tables. for the 3 dishes returned to the kitchen. After seeing the constant mistakes made by the kitchen, I had no courage or confidence to ask anything from the menu.
The spa is a very high price for a 1H:15M circuit. The price of the conditions and the state of the space were good, only the Turkish bath should be in some kind of defect, because the temperature was rather low than it should be (about 47°C). Yes, I think it was not the best time for the receptions and events of graduates that were at the hotel, imagine the workers were trying to give their best to try to please all who were staying or spending time in family. The hotel has a park near the Tormes River, which we unfortunately could not enjoy because of bad weather.
The opportunity to book the Castle Hotel is very rare. The experience of finding a way out in the hotel's maze of walks is very interesting. There are marks left by the years everywhere. We are very satisfied with the first stop in Spain.
The waiter cleaned the room without knocking on the door first, and pushed the door directly and came in.

GGuest UserThis hotel is in a beautiful and quiet area in Valle de Sedano, near a waterfall. The hotel itself is quaint and rustic. The staff are very nice and friendly. The younger staff, the young men, speak English, which is really appreciated as it’s not always the case in Spain, and not all of us speak Spanish. The room we were given was a bit smaller than the photos, but still comfortable. The ceilings are low on the top floors, so watch your head.
The only thing I can say negative about this hotel is that there is no parking possible nearby as it it up on a hill with very narrow uphill streets to get there. You have to leave your car at the bottom of the hill outside the village and climb up by foot to the top. Yes, their website stipulates this but not on the Trip.com website. As my husband is a civil handicapped person, we were exceptionally able to arrange to leave our car near the hotel for our short stay, but it was REALLY exceptional. If you are handicapped or mobility reduced, you shouldn’t stay there, unfortunately. Anyway, the drive up to and down from the hotel on those unbelievably narrow maze of streets is really too stressful. I don’t recommend it. But if you are otherwise young and fit, I highly recommend it. It’s peaceful, beautiful, amazing scenery, good food and friendly staff.
AAnonymous UserUrban hotel, next to the most important pedestrian street in the city, in the center. And close to an area where you can eat the famous pinchos morunos, patatas mixtas and other typical tapas. On the ground floor there is a café and restaurant where breakfast is served for a separate price. Perfect attention from the people at reception, clean and tidy room, comfortable mattress. It includes a smart TV, a small refrigerator, a desk with a kettle, infusions and coffee sachets. Classic bathroom from the 90s, all marble, bathtub and bidet. Only one major complaint, this hotel cannot be four star today, maybe in the 80s/90s. Punched card to enter the room, errors in the flooring and a blind unworthy of a 4-star hotel. Yes, the price is on par with those 4 stars. The fault is not with the workers who were perfect, it is with the business group that runs the hotel, because with two stars it would be a more realistic category
AAroa82We had a great weekend and our pets accompanied us. With a surcharge of 35 euros, they put a bed, a feeder and a drinking fountain.
We slept very quietly without any noise.
Very comfortable bed.

FfonkaThe hotel is beautiful, very clean. Clean room, food There is a lot of breakfast to choose from. Everything is very comfortable. The staff is also good service.
GGuest UserIdeally located when travelling from Bilbao to Portugal. Very clean, large room with comfortable beds. Staff were efficient at the front desk. Did not use the restaurant. Instead, went across the road to Meson del Douro for dinner. Service was quick. If you don’t speak Spanish translate menu online so you know what to order.
HHongquanlaoshiVery simple and tasteful hotel, diagonally opposite the cathedral, the location is very good, it is a former castle transformed, the hotel's door is not big, but the interior is very spacious, there are two glass-top dining halls. The rooms are also very nice and antique, and the facilities are perfect. The service of the hotel is also very good, the reception staff is very enthusiastic and answer all questions. In short, this hotel is very cost-effective and worth recommending.
GGuest UserLovely place, beautiful and full of character, kind of seemed like we were in a palace.
Location was great for us as we needed to stop for the night on our way to Portugal. The bed was really comfortable and big, we slept 2 adults and a 2 year old really well.
The place was also super clean, as I arrived I took my shoes off and my feet were as clean as before, no dust or any dirt anywhere.
The only downside for us was the bathroom state, it definitely needs work done to it, the shower was almost coming off the wall and the black mould on the walls really put us off.
Pprincez_jarahIt's super big room though this is 12 occupants but still very huge room, I stayed at room 19 , old yet clean and big kitchen and big common area. I love the high chair and best of the best the coffee even without breakfast they provide free coffee with milk, tea clean dishes and utensils. So close to all landmarks and attractions. I love also the staffs they are helpful and very accommodating. There's a storage room as well for your staffs. Highly recommended this hostel and value of money. Higher my expectations. Thank you so much till I will visit Leon.
AAnonymous UserI really like this hotel. It was converted from a monastery. The design is great and the management is first-class. The room is large and the breakfast is pretty good. Children under 4 years old need to pay breakfast and per capita fee, totaling 30 Euros.
