Sure, we could have closed the window to help a bit but with no other airflow in the room, it’s a choice between super loud and hot/stuffy. Loud won. Last off, during my stay, they were hosting an event which meant a ton of people hanging around. Now the event was for a great purpose and that’s awesome and everyone was friendly too but it still meant the bar was basically taken over by locals who knew each other and filled up the community spaces, instead of a traveler or even a general bar vibe. Not a thrilling thing to find out after checking in. All that said, staff was great, super friendly when I checked in and around the place. The bar / restaurant is well done with a nice range of options and decent prices though I didn’t find the breakfast worth the buffet cost. Like the other locations, rooms are nicely done, bunks have good curtains, power, lights, all the makings of a 10/10, but not.

There was numerous points of observation that there was a policy prevention of the spread of the COVID virus e.g. staff wore masks and advised customers to do the same and there were disinfectant possibilities on every floor.

We booked the Boma hotel for a short stay in Strasbourg due to its location, as it is right next to Petit France, within walking distance to everywhere in the oldtown, but also only a 8min walk to the train station. We never had to use any transports in the two days we stayed, the Cathedral and other landmarks were only a 10min walk. However, we were also pleased with what we found as the hotel was new, modern but with character. There was music in the halls and lift to set the atmosphere and the decor overall was urban modern but worked very well. The room was not very big but had everything we needed for a short stay: a very comfy bed with memory foam pillows, which granted us a fantastic sleep at night; small desk with a kettle and a variety of coffee/tea; the minibar had water and soft drinks (and were free); there was a large tv on the wall with some media contents (films and music) which were also free for us to use; a safe where we could store our passports, etc during our stay; the bathroom had a good size with a large shower and the amenities were surprisingly good (which sometimes is compromised in smaller hotels). Our room was facing a main street but the windows were double-glazed, so we barely could hear anything from the outside. In the lower ground floor there's a (large) luggage room with large lockers for the guests to use, self-service and free. Since we arrived at Strasbourg in the morning we used it, as check-in is only at 3pm; then used it again after checking out, for a few hours, to explore a bit more of the old town before we took the train to Paris. Breakfast was was fairly good. Mainly continental but there were also scrambled eggs and bacon. There is a supermarket 20 metres away from the hotel, which was quite convenient in case we needed to buy anything during our stay. There is also a french bakery / patisserie just across the road. A lot of other coffee shops, restaurants, shops, etc just nearby. The staff was friendly, provided all the information we needed for a great stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel to visit Strasbourg, as it's perfectly located and has everything that you'll need to explore the old town.

Hotel Grand Briston is in a very good location, close to the train station 100m, near the bus station to go to the surrounding ancient villages only about 100m the hotel is in a very good location, close to the train station 100m near the bus packing for going to the surrounding ancient villages of Colmar. It is only about 01 km to the center. It is very convenient and comfortable. Room is clean and the staff are very enthusiastic and friendly. Will com back!

Just a 3 min walk from Strasbourg Train Station straight across the plaza. Very easy walk to most sights such as the river and famous covered bridges and towers (5mins) or cathedral (10mins). Large mall and Galleries Lafayette (10mins)Excellent front of house staff (special mention of Gabrielle) who are very welcoming and helpful. Room we had (103) was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The bed was comfortable and aircon worked well (very quiet and efficient). We had no noise from either the road or other guests. If I had to find a complaint it would have been nice to have a fridge in the room. The breakfast was excellent in quality and choice and again the staff very professional. The breakfast room is very tastefully laid out and modern.

Later I called back a second time to get parking and if possible a shower instead of a bathtub, I had an unpleasant lady named Justine who refused me the services I had. asked and ended up telling me that I had to cancel the reservation with you because there were no more places for us. I told him it wasn't possible. This reservation could not be modified or canceled. We were told that she didn't care and that when we arrived there would be no room for us. Finally we showed up on the day as planned, we got a room and a parking space. It was someone else who took care of us luckily! Why this affront? We would like to know why? We will make a complaint to this lady's hierarchy. Good reception

The hotel is new and big. There is also a kitchenette. There is a big supermarket opposite. Breakfast is also rich. You can rent a bicycle or bus to enter the old town. Very affordable.

The 180-degree floor-to-ceiling windows on the 8th floor are particularly impressive. However, the hotel front desk staff is often not online. It takes five minutes to check in before someone comes. Once I came down to buy something, I didn’t buy anything when no one was there.

Superb hotel, with good amenities, top notch staff/service, good beds and great design. This a higher end hotel (4 stars) but arguably better than some other hotels at this grade. Leans towards design more than sumptuousness and does it well. Walkable to the centre. Would recommend for trips to Strasbourg.

We chose it due to our large luggages, it'll be great if they had ramp at their entrance for us to drag our luggage in. 😅 The room is very clean, and we got a free upgrade. Room is consider pretty small even though its upgraded. So be very careful when booking the small room. We were very lucky to be given an upgrade with 2 huge luggages. Breakfast is decent. They had free flows of drinks any time of the day, which is a plus for a chilling weather to have a cup of tea/coffee. Overall is a pretty decent stay.

We had a twin room. It seems like all twin rooms face the train track so we could hear the sound a few times in the evening. Good quality toiletries are provided. The tram stop is 500 metres walk and we prefer to take Uber or bolt which is just about 10 euros one way. Strasbourg is well known for its gastronomy. Eat well here! I highly recommend L’eveil des Sens! Take a day trip to Colmar or stay a night there. Hotel let us leave our luggage overnight and we packed a bag pack to Colmar for a night.

Visiting for the amazing Christmas Markets which Strasbourg does very well. The hotel has convenient access to the city with the B tram line stopping just outside the hotel, its only 3-4 stops (5-10 min) to the center of the city where you will want to be, Location was very safe, and great access on the tram. Quiet neighborhood. Rooms are clean, modern, functional, everything worked. Includes a kitchen. Shower was nice. Staff was very helpful at checkin. The building is shared with an AC Hotel. I was told rooms are very similar except Residence Inn have the kitchen area.
