It was an impressive and pleasant stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a family room, which was perfect for our trip, very spacious and with great view. The bed mattress is one of the best in all my experience. I had great sleep during the stay. The cleanliness of the room was ok. The location is very convenient if you are driving - 20 mins drive to the walking trails and 10 mons drive to centre of Sheffiled. David from the restaurant provided highly professional and helpful service for our breakfast. All in all, we would consider staying at this hotel again if we visit this area again.

WE HAD A FRIDGE The toilet sit had some soap smudge on it and initially thought is something else but if foamed when tried to clean it (I always have sanitizer with me as is only human to miss a spot and do a mistake. Didn't kill me cleaning that myself. Housekeeping job ain't easy. Bless you all. Just keep a better eye to avoid Karen type❤️) The receptionists were all friendly and happy to assist me with both check in and check out. We absolutely loved our room and the view was magnificent. The dawn was heavenly seen from our window❤️ What I loved the most was the fact that in the room we had a FRIDGE. Many hotels don't have that anymore and imagine having a room without a fridge with this heatwave going on 🥵 I will attach a photo with our beautiful view🤩 This hotel will be my top choice whenever I'll need a room around the area. Clean room, clean hallway, clean reception area. Please keep an eye for the accessible rooms. Read all description and detail before booking as they have special rooms for people with a health condition and the room will have some things at a low level to the ground. Will be your fault for not choosing the right room not the hotel's as you need to read description always. Don't take it out to the staff for your own mistake😊 Seen a lot complaining about that, as I've seen also about the rooms accessible and didn't understand the term initially, until I went through the details. After reading the details I knew exactly what room I need to book and what would not be convenient for me🙌 Bless you all and hope this review will be of help to some of you at least 😊

This is the 2ed time staying here for 2 nights the price is ok the room is clean you get free tea and coffee in your room the breakfast is good value for money I believe it’s 15 pounds per person there is lots of fresh fruit cereal, a cooked breakfast as much tea and coffee as you like we didn’t go into the park this time as I have been in the wildlife Park before with my daughter this time we were visiting family the wildlife Park is amazing the staff at the Hex Hotel are super friendly . And professional. The only thing I would say negative about the hotel is checking after 4 pm. And you have to be out of the room by 10 am. I think check-in should be from 2 pm then that gives you a little bit longer in the room and maybe check out 11 am but apart from that I can’t fault this place but if you want to do an earlier check-in, they charge you £30. And if you want to upgrade your room, they charge you £15 per night to upgrade. . The shower is absolutely amazing. You have a rain shower and a smaller shower. You get two massive bath towels, two hand towels also shower gel body cream soap. That are individually. I will definitely be coming back and staying again. A short taxi ride into Doncaster town Centre where there is lots of bars that play music if you’re into that there’s also a designer outlet not far from the hex hotel. .

Great stay！ Central location, quick walk to all city attractions. Rooms are clean, quiet and beds extremely comfym. The best hotel in Sheffield this trip. Breakfast range is generous and tasty, staff friendly and professional. Perfect base for visiting Sheffield, will return.

Staff lovely and helpful, my room was clean and had essentials! I would and will be staying there again as I commute to work. Highly recommended this hotel!

We stayed at this and the hotel is convient for driving but not so much for walking but I didn’t mind that. The worst was when someone used our bathroom and wrote on the mirror, that was a little odd but considering it’s Barsley I was not so surprised

Hampton by Hilton is one of the cleaner hotels in Sheffield, and the complimentary breakfast with every room is a great perk! However, if you're arriving by train or bus to the city center, it's about a 20-minute walk to the hotel, including three big uphill climbs. I wouldn't recommend it for elderly guests or those with lots of luggage, as it can be quite tiring. But if you're a traveler who enjoys city walks, then I highly recommend this hotel. The staff are wonderful and provide excellent, thoughtful service. They also offer luggage storage before check-in and after check-out, as well as a gym!

The hotel is a little over a 5-minute walk from the train station, and the surrounding area is nice, though there's some construction happening currently. It's close to the Conservatory Garden, and the Ego restaurant next door seems very popular, requiring advance reservations. The room itself was so large it felt empty, with nothing but the basic amenities. The bathroom looked clean, but the shower drain was extremely slow, and hair and other debris would float up from the drain when the shallow pan filled with water, which really made me question the cleanliness. It's worth noting that the duvet on the first night was so thick I couldn't sleep. After I brought it up to the front desk, they promptly replaced it with a different type of blanket.

The location is super convenient, really close to Sheffield train station. It's less than a five-minute walk to the City Hall, Peace Gardens, Winter Garden, and Millennium Gallery. This is a chain hotel, and the service and facilities are all up to par. Sheffield is very hilly, just like a British version of Chongqing, with slopes everywhere. So staying near the train station makes arriving and departing with luggage much easier. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Sheffield.

Room was full of dust, bathroom had mold on the grouting, air contioning/ heating was broke, shower gel and shampoo watered down to almost just water, had a function on but sounded like the party was In our room even though it was 2 floors down, neighbouring room could hear them talking and getting intimate. Room was tin pot small and freezing cold...was so disappointed as stayed there previously for a lot less than i paid this time and the room was spacious and clean, so feeling extremely let down this time and hubby has refused to ever come back to this hotel.
