The location is the best as it is right in front of Plitvice Lakes. The hotel provides admission tickets to the lakes for guests, but you have to purchase the first ticket. We stayed for one night and visited twice, each taking an opposite route.

It is the best hotel in Plitvice Lakes National Park. Since we arrived very late that day and arrived at midnight, the hotel receptionist rushed us to check in. The hotel is very good and the rooms are very good. The soundproofing is also good, just like an American-style house. The breakfast is average, there are not many varieties, the restaurant is not big, the entrance is very comfortable, the hotel cannot buy tickets, you need to book tickets in advance on the official website, there are time slots, it takes 20 minutes to drive to Gate 2. Although it is right in front of you, driving there requires a detour.

This hostel is perfect for solo travelers visiting Plitvice! Clean and well-maintained everything was. If you enjoy hiking, It’s definitely worth staying a few extra days. There’s a small bus stop in Korenica nearby, which makes it easy to travel to other cities. They also run an affordable round-trip shuttle to and from Plitvice Lakes. They provide a towel with small fee.

Lovely place. Not sure what I was expecting exactly, but “cottage” does do them justice. The room was very well appointed, felt luxurious, quiet, clean, with a staff that was incredibly friendly and hospitable. We enjoyed dinner that was terrific! After a long day of hiking it was great to crawl into a warm and comfortable bed. Very classy accommodations! Thanks everyone!

Sve pohvale hotelu za uobnost i uljudnost svih zaposlenika! Cisto,ugodno,dorucak je odlican sa puno izbora! Nama najvaznije sto je pet friendly tako da je nasa curka uzivala i bila prihvacena najbolje sto je mogla! Vratiti cemo se sigurno!😉

Very friendly reception as if you stay with your family. Clean and modern rooms all on and on. Our room had even a massage chassis. You can also have breakfast and/or dinner at the cost of paying. 5-10 min drive from the national park. In the surrounding area there is also a supermarket and enough food facilities. Surely a recommender.

The location is perfect for a quick walk to old town or taking in the view of the Adriatic. The unit was well-furnished and spacious - with patio space and a pool. Perhaps best of all, the host was welcoming and attentive. Strong recommendation!!

Das Hotel In Excelsis liegt etwas auserhalb der Stadt Novalja, wir mochten es aber sehr, da die Küste nach 5min Fußweg erreichbar ist und es genug Parkplätze gibt. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer und der Poolanlage ist erste Klasse! Das Spa macht unglaublich Spaß, unbegrenzt Handtücher sind vorhanden. Das Frühstück könnte ausgewogener sein, aber es reicht aus. Leider hatten wir ein Insekten Problem, so hatten wir schon 4 Mücken und 2 Motten erschlagen, dann haben wir eine Armeisenstraße zwischen einem Bett und der Balkontür gefunden, nach einer Beschwerde bei der Rezeption konnten wir um 1 Uhr Nachts das Zimmer wechseln. Das Personal und der Service ist sehr freundlich.

The price/performance ratio is average. If you have other options, you can go to a small town outside to eat! Read the comment that the boss can pick up and drop off to the scenic area. When we went there, we said that the boss was not there and we had to wait two hours before returning. We still drove there by ourselves! The parking fee is 10 kuna an hour. I went twice and the parking fee is 120. In fact, it is not as good as staying in a hotel in the scenic area. It is convenient and not expensive! Free parking and discounts when you buy tickets! In addition, Ctrip's service is too poor, communication is not timely, and there is a serious problem with understanding! Never book a hotel on Ctrip again when you go abroad!

In the mountains, the price has an advantage, as a foothold, the requirements do not need to be too high. There is also a swallow nest at the entrance of the hotel.
