The room was spacious and comfortable, and the hotel is right next to Toyama Station. The hot spring bath was very modern, and it was great to have both a cold plunge and a sauna. However, we stayed for several days, and every time we went to the hot spring, there were quite a few people; perhaps there are many guests and the pool isn't very large. It seems the hotel doesn't offer breakfast? Even though there's a convenience store right outside the lobby. The most inexplicable thing is why there isn't a dedicated hotel parking lot? We had to find parking nearby every time, which was quite inconvenient.

The price of Entojiso Hotel is really good value compared to several surrounding hotels. The Kurobe River is outside the window. The scenery is beautiful, the dinner is amazing, and the breakfast is also rich. Except that the hotel is old and the facilities are a bit old, everything else is very good. In addition, the wine shop only has two shuttle buses in the morning and afternoon every day. It goes to Kurobe JR Station at 10:30 in the morning and 14:00 in the afternoon.

I chose to stay at a hotel in Toyama because I was eager to see the city with its snow-capped mountains. This was my first time staying at a Nikko Hotel. They offer free coffee and drinks. Breakfast is served on the top floor with a great ambiance and a good variety of dishes. The hotel price is affordable, so overall, it's excellent value for money.

The room was old and the mattress wasn't very comfortable. The hot and cold water taps were separate; the cold water was freezing cold, and the hot water was scalding hot. I didn't understand how to mix the hot and cold water. The hotel has a hot spring with views of Tateyama, but the front desk said it wasn't a real hot spring. The food was okay; the beef was quite good, with a milky flavor. The hotel's location is excellent, just above the Murodo bus stop, very convenient. The biggest advantage of staying at this hotel is that after all the day tour tourists have left, the hotel provides guided tours to see the snow walls, and in the evening, there are also instructors explaining Tateyama's history and stargazing. The next morning, there's also a guided tour to see the ptarmigan. However, overall, it's not good value for money.

Great service by staff, very helpful, they received and sent my luggages by Yamato. Carpark right in basement is convenient. If only they didnt provide Chinese made bathroom toiletries (NZ brand). Right across to Toyama castle.

Nice Japanese breakfast. Strategic location to get around Gokayama and Shirakawa. In front of the hotel is the biggest Gassho style house in Japan that has a long history of being owned by samurais and where the emporia family had visited many times and is considered a cultural heritage of Japan.. I would go back to this hotel because of its location.
