Syaa.18I really loved staying here! The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. 👍🏻
I forgot to request room decorations for our anniversary in advance, but fortunately, the staff were kind enough to accommodate my request. They surprised us with simple decorations and a complimentary cake, which made our special day even happier and more memorable. 🥰🎂
A special shout-out to Ms Ima, Ms Izza, Ms Aisha & Ms Betty for your great service. 👏🏼👏🏼 Your kindness truly means a lot to us.
The room was spacious and clean, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. We also loved the view! We were lucky enough to enjoy views of the town, the sea, and the surrounding Klebang area. 🌊✨ Lastly, I really loved the breafast options & taste, it was variety and good quality of food 😍
I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to others. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my stay. ❤️

b.travelRoom is spacious.
Cleaniness is good, just that it's an old hotel.
Basin tap need replacement. The nozzle attachment is missing. Turn on too big the water splash everywhere.
Shower head need replacement, leaking when turn on from the sides. Top shower head holder require replacement or at least tighten. Room1837.
Aircon is good. Takes awhile to reach the settings though. But nothing to complain about. Bed is comfortable. Bedsheets has some minor stains. Nothing disgusting.
There is one thing to take note. Request for city view instead of sea view. The outside glass is not clean, full of stains. Could be due to the renovation site next to the hotel.
If you want to rest during the day. Avoid sea view. The construction noise level is too loud to have proper rest.

Meha BahnanVery comfortable hotel with a pool, suitable for kids. Great location near the River Cruise jetty, and walking distance to Dataran Pahlawan along the riverside path. Beautiful views... worth it. Shops, especially Speedmart99 and Mamak Sri Sahabat, have really delicious and affordable food. The staff, from top to bottom, are all kind, friendly, and welcoming. You should definitely stay at this hotel... it's worth it. I stayed 1 night, then extended to 3 nights! 😆😆

Guest UserThis time I chose the Dusit Thani Princess Hotel in Malacca, Malaysia. Since I took a long-distance bus from Kuala Lumpur to Malacca, I arrived at the hotel after 3 PM. At the front desk, the staff upgraded me to a room on a higher floor and gave me a 50 MYR dining voucher. I immediately went to the Western restaurant on the first floor and filled my stomach with warm pasta and a vegetable salad, which was incredibly heartwarming. The room was quite spacious with a great view, overlooking the scenery of Malacca, with the Malacca River below. It's a five-minute drive to the Red Square (Dutch Square), the lively Jonker Street, and other main attractions like the A Famosa ruins. The breakfast offered a rich mix of Chinese and Western dishes. The staff member, Joey, even patiently helped me download a ride-hailing app, which was very thoughtful. This hotel left me with wonderful memories and is highly recommended!

Adelle AlsyMy partner and I enjoyed a slow 2-day, 1-night weekend getaway in Melaka. We left KL after work on Saturday, but even a regular weekend meant a 3‑hour drive—traffic was heavy. Still, the trip was worthwhile.
We chose The Lisbon Melaka for its quieter location, away from the busy Jonker Street, near the Portuguese Settlement and facing the Straits. The hotel opened less than a year ago and has a peaceful, resort-like vibe.
The lobby impressed us with its elegant blend of British colonial style and Peranakan touches, plus a resort-style pool with sun loungers that instantly set a holiday mood.
Our balcony room overlooked the pool. The balcony had two chairs and a small table, perfect for morning coffee or afternoon reading. We loved sitting there, enjoying the view and simply unwinding—that's our idea of slow travel. The room itself was clean, minimalist, and comfortable, with a cozy bed and a stylish bathroom.
Minor downsides: the shower drain was slow, causing water to spill onto the floor, and there was no ceiling fan, so the AC-only room felt a bit stuffy after a while. Staff were friendly, though we barely needed them.
Overall, we had a restful stay. The design, location, and laid-back atmosphere outweighed the small issues. If you're looking for a quiet, character-filled retreat in Melaka, The Lisbon is a solid pick—just expect the long drive!

SanfentangnaichaOverall, I really liked this hotel with its strong Nanyang (Southeast Asian) charm. From the exterior to the room decor, everything felt great. It's within walking distance to attractions and close to the TBS bus station, just a fifteen-minute drive away.
However, there were a few things I wasn't happy about:
1. I didn't realize beforehand that breakfast here is à la carte and only starts at 7:00 AM. It also takes a while for the food to be prepared. Since we had already booked our bus back to Kuala Lumpur for 9:00 AM, there was no time to eat. It was a shame, and we couldn't get a refund either. The staff kindly packed two boxes of bread for us, but for a breakfast costing several hundred for four people, it wasn't worth it. If you want to enjoy breakfast properly, definitely plan your time carefully.
2. We were three adults and one child, but we were required to book two rooms. Even though the rooms were spacious, we couldn't add an extra bed.
3. The soundproofing in the rooms was very poor. We could clearly hear our neighbors showering and flushing the toilet at night, and it was quite noisy.
4. We were charged 600 RMB for the two rooms upon check-in. I paid with a credit card, but upon check-out, I was told the refund would take 15 business days to be credited back to my account. That's quite annoying.

maximilianwThis hotel is located within walking distance to Jonker Street. Built Melaka, and Stadhuy's, as well as to many cafes and eateries. While one may point to many other hotels populated there. Ibis Melaka stands out above most others with clean and working facilities and amenities. I have stayed in a number of hotels there and I can safely say that the hotel will meet the expectation of many people. The reception staffs are efficient. The cleaning staffs are hardworking. I had a restful stay there.

There are many rooms on each floor, but the decor is a bit outdated. There aren't many shops nearby, just an Indian-run convenience store across the street that closes quite early. The breakfast was decent, but considering we were abroad, the selection of Chinese food was limited, which is completely understandable.

Ramon-ZLThe room was very spacious, and there were several delicious restaurants right across the street downstairs, including a local Nyonya cuisine spot and a Korean BBQ place. Taxis were easy to hail, making it convenient to get anywhere. The outdoor swimming pool was incredibly comfortable; a swim in the evening was absolutely delightful.
