The bed and towels had stains. The towels had blood or some other red marks on them, and the vanity chair was incredibly dirty with red and black stains. However, we mostly used our own stuff, so it was okay. The bathroom and street had a vomit smell that wouldn't go away, even with air freshener. The water heater was broken at first but was fixed later, which was great – the hot water lasted a long time without turning cold quickly. But the water pressure from the faucet was very low. We requested room cleaning, and after being out for over 10 hours, the room still hadn't been serviced. The location is good if you have a car, but difficult to get around on foot. Parking is very limited though.

I decided to stay at this hotel for the  second time due to its convenient location and affordable online booking rate at Trip booking. There are Mc D behind n the restaurants also reachable, I mean within walking distance. The staff are very friendly , the room is clean , well decorated n the facilities are well maintained. The staff attended n response to our complaints immediately.Late check out with affordable price. Have complimentary drinks served at d lobby. However , the quality of the room door needs  to be improved .

This time, my friends and I chose The Pines Melaka for our trip. The location is truly unbeatable, right in the city center, making it super convenient to get to all the main attractions and shopping malls. The room was quite spacious, and the staff were friendly. However, the facilities definitely show their age and could use better maintenance, and the cleanliness could be improved in some areas. Overall, it's decent value for money, especially if location is a top priority and you're not too picky about newer facilities.

When we arrived, we were surprised that this hotel is under the same group company, Hatten Group. So it has the same parking lot shared with Hatten Hotel. Different building though. The check-in was fast but only at 3pm. The room was extremely comfortable, bed was comfy, and the shower water is really strong. The room itself overall is very clean too and well-maintained. Price is very affordable even at high-season which makes it a very attractice stay. The breakfast is just average and a bit-tad too pricey at RM 35 p/pax since Melaka itself has an abundance of other eateries options. Will definitely return.

Bayview Hotel Melaka offers a pleasant and comfortable stay that covers all the essentials for a simple getaway. The room was clean and well-kept, providing a nice space to rest after a day of sightseeing. While the facilities are not particularly luxurious, everything functioned as expected and met the basic needs of a short stay. The staff were the highlight of the experience. They were friendly, polite, and always willing to help whenever I needed assistance. Their warm attitude made the overall stay feel more welcoming. The location is convenient, with easy access to Melaka’s main attractions such as Jonker Street and the river area. It’s suitable for guests looking for a fuss-free hotel that’s reasonably priced and comfortable enough for a couple of nights. Overall, Bayview Hotel Melaka is an average but reliable option—clean rooms, helpful staff, and a good base for exploring the city.

I had a wonderful stay at Noble Resort Hotel Melaka, and it truly exceeded expectations. The Premier Executive services were exceptional — professional, attentive, and thoughtfully delivered, making the entire stay feel comfortable and well taken care of. The team was warm, efficient, and always ready to assist, which added a premium touch to the experience. The location is another major highlight. The hotel is conveniently situated near shopping malls, making it easy to access retail outlets, cafés, and daily necessities. There are also plenty of food options nearby, from local delights to well-known eateries, so finding great meals was effortless throughout the stay. Rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, offering a relaxing environment to unwind after a full day out. The overall atmosphere of the hotel strikes a great balance between comfort and elegance. I would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for convenience, quality service, and a pleasant stay.

Good: The hotel has a great location and a stylish design. Bad: The pond in the ground floor courtyard had a strong fishy smell. Our double room was at the end of the hallway (I've noticed this design in more than one hotel in Malacca), and the window faced another building directly, offering no view. It's a central water supply system, so arriving too late meant no hot water for a shower. In the middle of the night, the ceiling started leaking a bit, dripping onto the bed. The room phone was broken and couldn't reach the front desk. Improvement: I mentioned these issues to the front desk when checking out, and they refunded me 50 MYR.

Location: easy to find and surrounding is really nice to walk and good street food around. Parking: a separate parking bays that needs to tag in with either of the payment cards for access. Upon leaving the hotel, need to remember to validate the card for hotel guest free parking facility. It is a non-covered parking so if rain expect inconvenience and if sunshine expect excess heat in the car. NOT really friendly but acceptable. Room: good bed good pillows, floor not so clean can see some hairfall wasn't wiped off. Bath tub pipe maybe a bit old or seldom in used hence the water flowed out was yellowish. The linen is soft but can know they are quite old, that old linen smell is quitw obvious. Aircond: is either we don't know how to operate, it can't seemed to be able to be adjusted to the temperature we want. It will become quite warm in the midnight. Sound proof: SUPER BAD 👎 Imagine we will know what is happening exactly in the bathroom and toilet. The noise from the road till midnight is even clearer. We are staying at lvl 8 and the tallest is lvl 10. Service: Good hospitality and polite. Restaurant breakfast: not up to par, honest feedback.

I stayed at Birkin International Hotel in Melaka from Tuesday to Thursday. As the hotel is still new, I understand that some facilities and security features may not yet be fully operational—for example, access control requiring a room card to enter guest floors. I also understand that, as a newly opened hotel, some rooms may not have undergone complete inspections. Upon check-in, the first room assigned to us had several defects: the toilet basin was choked, and the basin handle in the small kitchen area had come off. We contacted the front desk for assistance regarding the choked basin, and they offered us a room change. A staff member whom I believe was the hotel manager came up personally, escorted us to another room, and informed us that we had been upgraded. We truly appreciated this gesture and the prompt service provided. We checked in around 3:00 p.m. and were feeling hungry, so we decided to try the hotel food. We ordered two slices of cake, fish and chips, and pizza. The food was nice and delicious, and we genuinely enjoyed it. However, I would like to highlight a concern regarding the breakfast experience. As this is a five-star hotel, I expected a high standard of hygiene with zero tolerance for flies in the dining area. Unfortunately, I noticed several flies during breakfast. On one occasion, during the nasi lemak service, I saw a fly land on a bowl of eggs. I pointed this out to the staff, but they only removed the piece of egg that the fly had landed on. This was quite alarming, and as a result, I did not dare to try the nasi lemak at all. Later, I noticed one of the staff attempting to smash a fly while wearing gloves. This made me wonder whether the gloves would be changed afterward if the fly was successfully killed. This raised further concerns about food hygiene. Because of this, I became worried and chose to eat only items that were freshly cooked on the spot, such as curry noodles. Overall, I felt disappointed with the breakfast hygiene standards and sincerely hope the hotel will take this matter more seriously. I believe Birkin International Hotel has great potential, and with improved attention to cleanliness and food safety, it can offer a much better experience for guests. Thank you for taking the time to review this feedback.

First, the good points: 1. It's quite close to the House of Holland attraction. 2. The room view was decent. 3. The swimming pool staff provided excellent service. 4. I liked their hotel's water bottles and the thick slippers. Now for the unsatisfactory points, which were the most frustrating: 1. Since I was extending my stay, I specifically went to update my key card after 12 PM. When I wanted to return to my room after swimming, the door wouldn't open. I had to run down to the first-floor lobby in my swimsuit to update it. After confirming with the staff that both key cards were fine, I ran back up. Because it was so cold, I went for a 10-minute sauna before going back to my room to shower, but the door still wouldn't open. I had to run down to the first floor again to update the key card... Finally, it worked. 2. The soundproofing was poor; I could hear people talking in the next room and outside the door. 3. There were no children's toiletries. 4. The cleaning was subpar; there was still toothpaste from previous guests on the toothbrush glass. Anyway, we weren't going to use it, so never mind.

CCY_A very new hotel with very comfortable spacious rooms and is situated within the Portuguese settlement. My visit was during Christmas time so there were a lot of celebrations going on, adding to the atmosphere. The visitor before me used the fridge for durians, and I could not use the fridge throughout my stay due to the smell. The stamps were very polite to ask me about my visit however there were no immediate rectification or solutions provided. Maintenance will be an issue if not taken care of well.

KKok Ding HongIt was nice staying here, and compared to Dec 2024. It's been so much better for the service rendered. Keep it up! The Location is superd and we loves it, 5 mins walk to Jonker street, do not even need to drive over. As the parking at Jonker is limited and during Friday to Sunday, it will be packed. So with the short distance walk, you can save alot of trouble finding carparks lots. The room is clean and nice, looks like the pictures in the portal as well.

AAnonymous UserService very good. Room cozy & clean. Shower in bathtub with no bathtub mat which so dangerous for my kid & preggy wife. Bed setup fail which use the small duvet cover for Superking Duvet insert & i think the best time for the hotel change the mattress that badly torn. Booked the deluxe king with patio because i want my kid to play at patio but the smell so bad, mossy & dirty. They didn’t clean the patio. This really makes me upset which pay more but can’t use it. Wifi not to stable until need to call technician but fed up because still same. For breakfast, food varieties and nice. I don’t have the photo for patio because don’t want to open it again after 1st impression. I have video for bedding but can’t upload

GGuest UserI am truly pleased with the Grand Swiss-Belhotel Melaka, Malaysia for their warm hospitality and very clean accommodations. The staff went above and beyond to extend their assistance, even helping me with important matters such as bank transfers—going so far as to use their own personal accounts to ensure everything was taken care of smoothly. A special appreciation goes to Mr. Rifkarl, the security personnel, for his remarkable support and genuine care, which truly reflects the hotel’s commitment to excellent service. This experience is a testament to the dedication of the entire team, making my stay not only comfortable but also memorable. I am deeply grateful and will surely recommend this hotel to others.
