This new hotel is truly new and luxurious! The location is excellent, and the facilities are comprehensive. The swimming pool is huge. Check-in was very smooth, with three front desk staff assisting, so there was almost no wait. There are also many elevators, which is very convenient. The breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options. The front desk service was superb, making us feel right at home. Even though we only stayed one night while passing through, it was very memorable. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Ipoh.

We had a lovely stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Damai Laut 🤍 The resort is peaceful and surrounded by nature perfect for a short family getaway to unwind from city life. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, and waking up to the greenery and sea view was truly refreshing. What we enjoyed most was how kid-friendly the resort is. The kids had so much fun with the pools and outdoor spaces, and we could actually relax knowing they were happy and occupied. Breakfast was good with a decent variety, and the staff were consistently warm, polite, and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience for both adults and kids. A great choice for families looking for a calm beach resort vibe. We’ll definitely consider coming back

Newly renovated room on 8 floor. Very decent room and breakfast for the pricing. Parking outside the hotel . Good location near to airport and petrol station. Hotel is under renovation but still is decent enough. 41 RM for breakfast for 1 pax seem cheaper than booking online which is for 2 pax and higher price.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The room furniture is slightly old but still ok to stay. The staff are friendly & helpful. The location is great, surrounded by mall & eatery. There is a market behind the hotel. Walkable to Taiping Lake. Hotel very near to sightseeing places.

Lake is very beautiful. All the room face the lake and breakfast is provided. The apartment is very big as well, can fit big family.

My stay at the resort was amazing! If I could give it 10 stars I would. Hospitality was top notch, ambience was perfect. Maybe reduce Buggy wait time during seasonal time as we almost had a rift at the beach with an Asian family who were rude to us, acting like we didn’t belong there. Literally acted like they had the right to tell us not to get on one because they were a group. We didn’t know that as there was no visible queue and profiling bunch of random Chinese people to infer they are in a group would be stereotypical. I understand the resort cannot control the kind of people in their space however I brought it up with our guy at the receptionist who apologized for the situation. I will definitely be back here as I had an amazing time

The location is very convenient, and the hotel was very comfortable. I especially liked having a water dispenser in the room, so I didn't have to drink bottled water.

Just nature, silence, and the two of us. 💧 The villa — Private, peaceful, and beautifully designed. We had our own natural hot spring tub… soaking in warm water under the trees, just talking, laughing, and sometimes saying nothing at all. It felt intimate, real, and healing. 🧘♀️ The caves — Meditation cave was so quiet, we could hear our own hearts. Steam cave felt like a reset for the body. We didn’t rush anything. Everything there teaches you to slow down. 🍽️ Jeff’s Cellar dinner — This was the highlight. Fine dining in a 260-million-year-old cave — just wow. Romantic, calm, and full of little surprises from the chef. We’ll never forget it. 🌿 The overall experience? It’s not just a resort. It’s a space where two people can really reconnect — without noise, without distraction. Just you, your person, and peace. ⸻ We came here to rest. But we left with something more. A calm heart. Basic hotel. Reception was nice and polite. Cleanliness was good, bed was clean. Room was carpeted, not sure how clean the carpets were, but it didnt smell bad. Noise was loud from pub just directly opposite, so for lightsleepers, better look elsewhere. Has EV charger at basement car park. Best for value guest, short overnight stopover.
