Check in was smooth and excellent. Staff are amazing giving all required info with a smile. The cleanliness was quite good except for some marks on the couch and chair. The breakfast was outstanding. Those who book without breakfast probably lose out on half of the benefit of staying at this hotel. The pool was also amazing. Free parking in the building was a real blessing. Check out was again just as good as check in. Will definitely stay here again.

Old hotel but the cleanliness was good. Room was quite good for the price that I paid. Only downside was the parking at the basement without lift. It's a bit troublesome for an old man or disable person to use staircase to the lobby. Air condition was superb. Bath towel was a good quality but without hand and face towel. 1 unit of hotel lift under constructions and the drilling noise start at 10.00am.

The hotel is located in the center of Ipoh town, making it convenient to access most local food spots. The room is clean, but the bed is a standard single size — not a super single — so it’s not very comfortable to sleep on. The blanket is quite thick, so we had to set the air-conditioning to a very low temperature to sleep comfortably. Breakfast is okay — just the usual hotel fare, nothing special.

Breakfast each morning was a carnival of flavors, a sprawling buffet laden with enough options to make even the most decisive diner pause in awe. From delicate pastries to hearty local delicacies, it was a daily feast fit for emperors. Yet, as with any grand experience, there were minor discordant notes amid the symphony. A persistent flotilla of flies occasionally intruded upon our peace, a reminder that paradise is never entirely without its quirks. Likewise, room service proved leisurely in pace, as if our meals were being prepared on a distant mountaintop before descending ceremoniously to our door. For those who prefer culinary expedience, Grab delivery is a welcome alternative—just be prepared to part with a few extra ringgit for the privilege. Still, these were but tiny clouds in an otherwise brilliant sky. The staff’s warmth, the resort’s sprawling amenities, and the sheer joy on our children’s faces each day conspired to create an unforgettable family retreat. If you seek a place where your spirit can unfurl, where your children’s laughter will echo across sunlit terraces, and where hospitality is more than a gesture but a genuine art, look no further than DoubleTree by Hilton Damai Laut. We departed with sun-kissed skin, full hearts, and an unspoken promise to return.

Great Location in the Heart of Taiping The hotel is centrally located in Taiping city, making it very convenient. There are plenty of eateries just in front of the hotel, and both Lotus and Taiping Mall are nearby. It’s also a great base for visiting cultural and historical attractions around the area. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Thank you!

hi tui haven, my first time visiting here n see about tui haven. . book 2 hour before arriving ipoh because my husband just remembered about the haven so i checked and got room here. . really nice lakeside residence. . the receptionist is really friendly and done fastest services upon check in and checkout time. .(indian lady)so nice of her i forgot to ask for a name. . the landscape and the view was amazing. . room also so nice and clean. .the toilet is very clean and i love the conceptsof the toilet. .i love the view from room. .i got lake view n sunset view. .which is so nice. .the room really spacious for us and got free snacks and drinks. . the amenities are perfect and complete. . and we got free refreshments at the restaurant. . breakfast buffet also has various choices. .pool are really big. .adult n kids pool and has jacuzzi. i love everything here include easy parking and got so many activitiesto do. .wo many ootd spot to take good picture. .

Pros - The room is spacious. Love the sofa, very comfortable. The common area is nice, cosy, with free flow of coffee, tea, water and snacks. Plenty of eatery nearby, a big shopping mall just across the road. Cons - management needs to seriously look into housekeeping quality. Do not use old and torn linen. I have never seen a hotel with torn pillow cover and floor matt.

Located in front of the most famous Taiping Lake. Owns basement parking but with no lift to the lobby. Nice spread of breakfast. Nasi lemak was good. My third visit :)

Stayed for 2D1N on a weekday with my wife and 1-year-old baby. The room and hotel were satisfying, with a strategic location—walking distance to many restaurants, a Speedmart, and Lumut Waterfront. However, the beach was not suitable for swimming due to oil and dirt. The breakfast buffet was also not great. That said, I still think this is one of the best hotels available in Lumut, and I would consider staying here again.

I stayed here to recuperate after breaking my ankle, and I felt that they were always considerate, such as when boarding the boat and the location of my room. All the staff members had excellent hospitality. Best of all, the facility is surrounded by nature, which allowed me to forget about everyday life and relax. Next time I'd like to participate in the activities as well.
