Hotels With Bars in Karas, Namibia

The place is simply beautiful. However it speaks in volume where the service level is concerned  We had an issue with our local Namibian guide where our trip was potentially in jeopardy with our rental car being withdrawn due to the latter’s mistake  The hotel manager, Johnny was awesome in helping us to resolve the issue and the service crew, Jessica, Ruby and Moses exhibited such care and concern that our flailing confidence in Namibians was restored  We applaud Gondwana canyon resort for having such a great crew and look forward to a visit again in the near future

Hotel exceeded my expectations was spotless the staff was amazing and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in

The only decent place in the city, a beautiful view from the window and fresh seafood in the restaurant. It seemed that no one stops here for more than one evening. In the morning everyone goes to Colmanskop and on the route, and there is nothing to do in the city itself and there are almost no people on the streets.

Simple rooms, overall their value is appropriate. At dinner, dishes are cooked for a long time, confused in orders

The lodge is good, location is good, hot water in the shower. But. Apparently not quite the season in August, it was very cold in the evenings and crazy cold. No heating device was given. Breakfasts were very simple. Probably when another season, more attentive attitude to the guests. But we were crazy cold, we won't come back.

The whole ambience, just great! All the people are friendly and relaxed, no stress on Christmas Eve 👍 Rooms very nice and clean We can highly recommend to take a look at the area around the Fish River Canyon

Our stay in the Gondwana Canyon Lodge was just fantastic – really everything has really been very good! Specially the Sundowner on the mountain is an absolute highlight and very recommendable. The staff in the Lodge was one of the most friendly we have experienced in Namibia and has made our stay comfortable around. One point: We had wished a quiet cottage on the edge, but we got one in the middle of the plant.
