The hotel was centrally located but is not a 4* property. I would suggest it’s a basic 3* in terms of decor, bathrooms etc. Rooms are a decent size, Bed is comfy, shower was hot with good pressure and towels were good. Breakfast options are limited
Although a lift was defect and the wind blowed in one of the rooms I reserved by the door to the balcony, the comforts were good and I liked the place.
Pontos fortes.
-local aprazível para descansar e no meio da natureza.
-Serviço irrepreensível, pessoas muito simpáticas.
-Pequeno almoço fabuloso.
- Boa Relação preço/qualidade no restaurante.
- Quarto:
1-Muito asseado;
2- Bom colchão ;
3- Adorei a casa de banho;
4- Decoração minimalista? mas boa para mim.
Ponto fraco:
-O quarto podia ser maior;
-podia ter um pequeno sofá.
Pena que não podia ficar mais tempo.
Normalmente quando estou hospedado num hotel só uso para dormir e aproveitar para passear. Mas este apetece ficar e usufruir os serviços do hotel.
Great breakfest, not a lot but more than enough and very tasty. A must try dinner also impressive. Both outdoor and inside pool with warm water. A big park and 2 extra spot to electric cars (like mine) with free charge. Will return for sure.
Чисто, комфортно и просторно. Есть общая кухня со всей техникой. Во всех деталях чувствуется забота к гостям. В номере была вода, мини-бутылочки с портвейном, в холодильнике охлаждённое вино, соки, молоко, фрукты.
Facilities: The hotel clearly had its heyday; the facilities are a bit dated but possess a unique charm. From the room's balcony, you can enjoy beautiful views of the bridge and the riverside.
Cleanliness: Spotlessly clean.
Location: Superb location, right at a bustling intersection in the heart of the old city.
Service: We arrived quite early, and the front desk staff kindly stored our luggage. Upon check-out, they proactively offered advice on the best way to reach the high-speed train station.
We had an early high-speed train to Lisbon the next morning, and since the hotel's breakfast service started a bit late, we opted for a packed breakfast. It included one sandwich, a carton of soy milk, a carton of juice, and a banana. Compared to similar packed breakfasts we've had at other hotels, this felt quite basic. Had we known the breakfast timing in advance, we definitely wouldn't have chosen to include it with our booking.
Great location, wallking distance to the main tourists street with all restaurants & shops. Across the street from Coimbra train station. (Not Coimbra B)
Beds are comfortable & the shower water pressure was amazing, their breakfast was great too, lots of fresh fruits, scrambled eggs, juice & all kinds if breads, pastries, coffee
etc. The young ladies at the reception were so kind & caring. The room, bed & bathroom were all spacious.
Quiet environment, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, a splendid view of the Mondego river.
Fantastic panoramic balcony.
The spa is perfect for a jacuzzi, sauna and Turkish bathroom.
The outdoor pool has a lot of sun and clean and pleasant water.
You can walk through the property to the river through the small forest.
The breakfast is very good and served in the panoramic restaurant.
The dinner is just superb in taste and presentation, and the amounts are generous.The chef is fantastic! Top meals!
Revening many times!!!

AAnonymous UserA beautiful place, loaded with history and tranquility.
Impecable and excellent professionals, except a restaurant collaborator who transposed the bad being with colleagues to the service, unfit for a space of these and revealing indifference for the presence of guests.
The main dishes suggested in the Room Service letter, potato rice and cod with shell are far below the expected quality in this category hotel.
AArchDragonI stayed in a single room at ibis Coimbra Centro and had a pleasant experience overall. I was especially happy that the hotel fulfilled my request for a king bed. The room itself is compact but well laid out, just the right size for a solo traveler.
One issue I did notice was that the room stayed quite warm, even with the temperature dial set to 15°C and the air conditioning on high. It wasn’t uncomfortable, but it’s something to be aware of.
The toilet was spotless, and I really liked the wooden floors and the modern shower area.
I opted for breakfast during my stay and was pleasantly surprised by the variety available. There were enough options to enjoy something different each morning, and I always left the table full and satisfied.
Thank you ibis Coimbra Centro for hosting me!
AAnonymous UserI stayed at Zero Box Lodge Coimbra. My room didn't have a window, but it was very compact, and best of all, it had excellent access to the city's main tourist attractions. The staff greeted me with a smile every day and were always happy to help me out if I needed anything, so I felt at ease. Furthermore, the accommodation fee was very reasonable, making for a truly satisfying stay. I recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy Coimbra comfortably while keeping costs down.
MMatías RubioloSolar Antigo is a must-visit in Coimbra for anyone seeking a top-notch experience. We stayed in a room with a jacuzzi and a stunning view of the city, which we thoroughly enjoyed. It was my wife’s birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and celebrated. They even included a small cake with a candle for the in-room breakfast—such a thoughtful touch! The welcome sparkling wine and cake were also a delightful surprise. Their exceptional attention to detail and outstanding customer service truly set them apart. Highly recommended for an unforgettable stay!

GGuest UserThe staff was very kind and detailed to introduce the hotel facilities and let us check in early. The breakfast was hygienic and delicious. Breakfast was served until 10:30. Check out at 12 o'clock gave me ample time to organize my luggage. It was very intimate. The housekeeping staff took the clothes we left in the room to us in time. I'll choose this hotel if I have a chance.
GGuest UserFriendly hotel with good accommodation. Good breakfast, with a good offer and variety.
The indoor pool is a very good experience, it's a shame the jacuzzi is out of order.
There is a gym with half a dozen working machines.
The staff were always attentive and friendly.
JJoão Pedro MarSpectacular space. Quiet, very clean, with a pool and sun loungers, tennis court, a great breakfast, room with everything you need, and a very comfortable bed. Very friendly and very professional staff. Without a doubt I recommend it.
CCaGirlThis was our second stay at the hotel, and it was just as fabulous as the first. The wellness area — with its sauna, cold‑water dip, and warm indoor pool — made the stay incredibly relaxing. The breakfast buffet was as good as I remember it, and on this trip was also our first time dining at Raiz, the hotel’s restaurant for dinner, and the experience was wonderful. Great food, great atmosphere, and excellent service. This is definitely our go-to hotel when we're in Lousã!
