The stay was fantastic! The room was spotless and well-ventilated. The staff were polite and professional, offering attentive service. The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation access and a great variety of restaurants nearby. They even recommended some local attractions, which was a nice touch. I'll definitely be back!

This hotel is excellent – clean, spacious rooms, and they provide four bottles of water daily. The location is superb, right next to Tianfu Square and the Chengdu Museum, which was perfect for rainy days. It's also close to People's Park and Chunxi Road. Despite the many tourists, the staff were incredibly dedicated and patient. The braised duck at breakfast was delicious, and the noodles with bamboo shoots and beef brisket topping were a treat. My wonderful experience in Chengdu started right here. See you again!

The hotel is nice at a really nice location. From the 14th floor nice walk way with amazing view of the bridge at night. They clean your room everyday, came back to new unopened coke and sprite in the fridge and folded bed sheets. They even left a note. The bed was nice the room was comfortable. Especially thankful to them dealing with all my 54 packages that I delivered; all the front desk ready for pickup. Thank to Alice for helping me with the free luggage storage and walking me through the steps. That was very helpful

We stayed in Meishan for a week for a sporting event. The hotel has clearly seen better days—especially compared to many newer properties in the area (aging lifts, worn carpets, etc.). We chose it mainly for three reasons: breakfast, gym/pool, and laundry facilities. 1. Breakfast The daily buffet was solid and met expectations. It featured a typical Chinese spread: hot stir-fried dishes, vegetables, meats, buns, dumplings, fried rice/noodles, porridge, plus a live station for dan dan noodles, eggs, and simple meats like sausage or ham. There was also a rotating Chinese dessert (e.g., red date with longan, green bean soup), along with some Western options like salad greens, yogurt, bread, cake, and fresh fruit. Since we stayed a full week, we appreciated the small variations. That said, we were surprised by the limited fruit selection—mainly oranges and watermelon—especially given the abundance of fresh fruit available locally. Breakfast vouchers are issued daily and must be presented before dining. 2. Gym & Pool This was the biggest disappointment. Both the gym and pool were completely closed, and the entire floor was gutted with no visible renovation activity. It looks like these facilities have been—and will be—out of service for quite some time. This was a major letdown, as it was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. 3. Laundry There is only one washer and one dryer for the entire building. We were concerned about availability, but only had to wait once. The 15-minute wash cycle helps with turnover. However, the dryer takes a long time and unfortunately shrunk all my cotton clothing. I’d recommend partially drying cotton items and then air-drying them in your room. Package Perks We booked through Trip.com, which included a small daily package: a plate with two oranges and some snacks, complimentary coffee or tea in the lobby, and a free transfer to the high-speed rail station (must be booked at the front desk one day in advance). There were also canned sodas included, which we didn’t use. Room & Noise We were initially assigned a room facing the plaza, which was very noisy. After requesting a change, we were first told the hotel was sold out—but after some persistence, a park-facing room was “found.” This room was significantly better: quiet, bright, and pleasant, with birdsong in the morning. We were told these were actually an upgrade, and that road-facing rooms are even worse due to constant traffic noise. 4. Smart Room Features (“Xiao Du”) We did enjoy the smart room system—“Xiao Du,” which works similarly to Alexa. It can control the curtains, TV, room temperature, and lighting, which is a nice modern touch. However, it was also a bit frustrating at times—for example, it would automatically turn off the lights in the bathroom sink area. The lighting there is already quite dim and not ideal for doing makeup. It would be helpful if the hotel could improve lighting around the mirror (brighter bulbs would make a big difference), or even better, install a mirror by the writing desk near the window where there is natural light. Smoking Smoking is allowed in the hotel, and we did notice it in the lobby, elevators, and corridors. Thankfully, our room itself was fine. Housekeeping turns off the AC and opens windows when cleaning, which seems to help ventilate lingering smoke. Location & Surroundings The hotel is in a convenient area. A nearby park is lovely, with traditional structures and inscriptions related to the Su family. Within a short walk is a lively commercial plaza with restaurants, bubble tea shops, salons (I tried a newly opened nail salon), and more. Getting around via Didi is easy. Overall For the price, the hotel offers decent value. However, the closed fitness facilities were a major downside. If we return, we’d likely try a newer hotel—but this one works if you prioritize cost and location over amenities.

## Facilities: 1. **Outdated and Poorly Designed**: The facilities are quite old, and the design is impractical. For example, the shower and toilet are in the same area within the bathroom, with no separation. This means if someone is using the toilet, no one can shower, and vice-versa. 2. **Misleading Advertising**: Figures 1 and 2 in the hotel's promotional images, which are crucial for customers before booking, are completely different from what you see upon entering the room (as shown in the last three pictures). I'd like to ask the hotel management: where is the bathtub from your promotional photos? It's turned into a concrete basin, and it's incredibly dirty inside. There was no prior notification upon check-in – it's a complete mismatch from what was advertised. 3. **Hazardous Staircase**: The stairs in the room are extremely steep. You have to be very careful going up, and when going down, you *must* descend backward as per the hotel's instructions, because it's impossible to go down facing forward without falling. 4. **No Internal Elevator**: The hotel doesn't have its own internal elevator, and the staircases within the hotel are also very steep, making it genuinely difficult to carry luggage upstairs. ## Hygiene: The overall hygiene in the room is acceptable. The wooden floor on the second level is clean, but that dirty carpet really shouldn't be there. ## Environment: The hotel has been converted from a two-story commercial building. It's not noisy at night and is conveniently located within walking distance of the ancient city's snack street, Nanqiao Bridge, and the subway station. ## Service: Service is just okay. After checking in, they provide some guide articles about nearby attractions and restaurants, but that's about it.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful with a fantastic design. I love the color scheme and all the decorative details – it feels very stylish and modern. Lucky, the welcoming dog, is also adorable! The room is spacious with a great view, and the small appliances are high-end. There are also many thoughtful functional details. The breakfast restaurant is large with a rich variety of options, and the service is excellent. Downstairs, there's a mall and a subway station, which was perfect for traveling with kids; they absolutely loved it. For a hotel of this caliber, the price offers great value for money.

Stepping out, you can immediately dive into shopping, with a full range of fashionable brands, cultural and creative shops, and leisure establishments. This makes both relaxation and shopping incredibly convenient. Whether it's a short getaway or a business stay, your travel routes will be exceptionally smooth, and you won't have to worry about commuting hassles at all. My high-floor room was a delightful surprise. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered an expansive, boundless view, bringing the entire city landscape right into my sight. During the day, I could look down upon the sprawling buildings and intricate street networks, taking in the vibrant pulse of the city. As night fell, countless lights twinkled on, and the shimmering flow of lights unfolded before my eyes, allowing me to solely enjoy the romantic nightscape of the city. Just standing by the window dissolved all travel fatigue; the view and ambiance were absolutely top-notch. The in-room amenities were incredibly comprehensive. All the equipment was brand new and fully stocked, including smart home features, branded bathroom fixtures, high-quality bedding, and comfortable soft furnishings. The space was elegantly arranged and organized, with a thoughtful and practical wet/dry separation design in the bathroom. Everything was impeccably clean, and the hardware functioned flawlessly. It was quiet and peaceful during rest, striking a perfect balance between quality and practicality, so even a long stay wouldn't feel cramped. Downstairs and in the surrounding area, there's a rich and diverse food scene. Local specialties, exquisite Chinese cuisine, creative light meals, and unique snacks are all scattered around. The variety of cuisines is incredibly wide, with a rich, inviting aroma of local life lingering in the air. Finding meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was abundant, and I could savor diverse flavors without traveling far. Food lovers will definitely find it hard not to adore this place. What impressed me most was the exclusive butler service; their sense of discretion was just right. From check-in and luggage assistance to travel route inquiries and responding to daily needs, the entire process was meticulous and thoughtful. Their responses were prompt and gentle, proactively caring without being intrusive, fully balancing guests' privacy with an excellent service experience. The location, views, facilities, food, and service were all top-tier, offering both convenience and a high-end living experience. The next time I visit this city, I will definitely choose this place again. I sincerely recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable travel experience!

I chose this guesthouse because I've recently been getting into mindfulness meditation. The concept of a 'meditation hotel under the snow-capped mountains' really resonated with me. The person who came up with this idea is a lovely woman who also owns the hotel. It's a shame I didn't get to meet her during my two-day stay, but I was lucky enough to be there during a heavy snowfall. It snowed at night and cleared up during the day. Some people wait a whole year for snow and don't get it, yet we stumbled upon it. On the flip side, some travelers came during bad weather and couldn't even see the snow-capped mountains. I recall a quote in the guesthouse's elevator that said, 'Meet the snow-capped mountain in your heart.' In truth, the mountain is already within us, yet people are always searching for the one they can see with their eyes. This guesthouse offers every convenience you could possibly imagine, and then some. I won't list them all here, but I urge my friends to choose this guesthouse without hesitation.

I genuinely feel we made the right choice with this Vienna Hotel! The location is quiet yet central, tucked away from the main road, so it's very peaceful at night, ensuring a great night's sleep. The room hygiene was excellent; no strange smells, making our stay very comfortable. The front desk staff were gentle, efficient, and immediately resolved a minor issue we reported. They even followed up later to ask about our experience, which shows great responsibility. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices and was very satisfying. The free shuttle service to the scenic spots was incredibly convenient, saving us the hassle of taking a taxi. The facilities are comprehensive, making it a perfect choice for travelers.

You can walk to Kuanzhai Alley, and within the hotel, you'll find serene flowing water and an elegant atmosphere. The guest rooms are clean and tidy, equipped with smart home facilities throughout, and the bedding is soft and comfortable. The staff provides attentive and thoughtful service, making it incredibly convenient for exploring and dining out. It's the perfect choice for enjoying peace and quiet amidst the bustling city when you visit Chengdu.
