I stayed here for three nights and honestly didn’t want to leave. From the moment I walked in, the vibe felt calm, modern, and tucked away, exactly what you want from a boutique stay in the middle of Chengdu. What I loved most was the view, especially at night. Watching the city lights reflect off the river felt like having my own private slice of Chengdu. It’s the kind of view that makes you pause, breathe, and realize you’re somewhere special. The room itself was cozy, stylish, and thoughtfully designed. The little touches made the stay feel more personal, way better than the big chains. I only wished my room had a heated toilet seat, which I have grown accustomed to at other hotels in China. And the location? Perfect. Taikoo Li, Hejiangting, and all the fun areas were within easy reach, but the hotel still felt peaceful and hidden away from the noise. If you want a stay that gives you comfort, aesthetics, privacy, and beautiful nighttime views, The Hidden House is an easy yes. I would absolutely stay here again.

Facilities: So-so. There's an indoor staircase I've never seen before, it looks just like a basement. WiFi and 5G signals are poor. Cleanliness: Average. Environment: Convenient for dining nearby, very close to Chunxi Road. Service: Decent. Overall, it's acceptable.

I have stayed at Hyatt Place Nanchong nearly 10 times, so I will write an objective review. Geographical location: It is backed by Wanda Plaza, which is convenient for eating and drinking, and is friendly to business travelers. It costs 15 yuan to take a taxi from Nanchong Station. If you tell the driver that you are in a hurry, there will be a ”surprise”. Hardware facilities: It is one of the best in Nanchong. After all, it is supported by international brands. The hardware settings are more suitable for user needs. High-speed hair drying, hot water heating speed, shower water volume, comfortable slippers, and iced minnibar cola are more important to me. Price: Sometimes the single breakfast price is less than 400. Stay at Hyatt Place, what do you want a bicycle. Room selection: I have stayed in river view and city view, and I recommend city view. The river view is beautiful, overlooking half of the city, but the window is open for a long time, and small mosquitoes will naturally attack. The noise of the dam dance in the riverside square is also relatively loud, which lasts until about 21 o'clock. The city view is relatively quiet. Service: The overall service is in line with expectations. When you take a taxi to the hotel entrance, there will be a concierge colleague to open the car door. Now many five-star hotels have ignored this step. In addition, Xiao Zhou, a colleague at the front desk, patiently helped me use Tianfutong to handle the matter when I forgot to bring my ID card. Then there was no network, and he patiently waited for me to use my ID card photo. He smiled throughout the process without any impatience. Thank you for making me like Hyatt Place even better. Surprise point: Breakfast, the best word for Nanchong Hotel can be given to Hyatt Place, which has a rich variety and adjusts the dishes from time to time. The variety is so wide that it is close to the level of brunch. You must try their red oil fermented bean curd, which is perfect with fried rice and vegetables. An Unforgettable Stay ！ True 5-Star Experience at The Ritz-Carlton, Chengdu Our last two nights in Chengdu were truly the highlight of our trip ！An experience that perfectly lived up to its Forbes 5-star reputation. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. The doorman greeted us warmly, remembered my surname, and personally delivered our luggage to our room. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the outstanding service from Meria, the guest relations manager. She was like our personal concierge , helping to deliver my parcels from the concierge to our room, assisting us with getting prescription medicine late at mid of night, and even sending thoughtful gifts like fresh fruit and panda bookmarks. Every detail reflected genuine care and professionalism. Staying here with my parents was an absolute joy , the comfort, warmth, and attentiveness made us feel completely at home. I can confidently say that The Ritz-Carlton, Chengdu is the pinnacle of all the hotels I’ve stayed in. This hotel's design is absolutely perfect for couples; it's incredibly romantic and atmospheric. The highlight has to be the huge bathtub with an unbeatable view of Chengdu's nightscape – simply stunning! From the front desk service to the room tidiness, everything was exceptional. The location is fantastic too, right behind Taikoo Li, with two convenience stores downstairs. Plus, the street food stalls outside stay open quite late, so night owls can easily grab a late-night snack. Highly recommend! 💯

Our stay at the Louis Hotel in Chengdu was truly excellent! The lobby's design immediately impressed us upon arrival; every shot looked like it was taken for a magazine. The limited-time Christmas decorations added an amazing festive vibe, and our evening photos turned out stunning. The room facilities were exquisite and thoughtful. The bedding was perfectly soft, and lying on it instantly melted away our travel fatigue. The bathtub was huge and very comfortable for a soak. My favorite part was the floor-to-ceiling window in the bathroom, offering a panoramic view of the city lights while bathing. The front desk lady was very warm and efficient with our check-in. She even personally guided us to our room, constantly reminding us to watch our step because of the stairs. Staying here was incredible value for money. We'll definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit!

Imagine being able to lie in your room and watch the sunrise and sunset over Mount Siguniang, capturing incredibly clear photos with just your phone. What more could you ask for? Well, there's actually more! The room amenities are thoughtfully chosen: a Marshall speaker, a Dyson hairdryer (though I didn't dare wash my hair to use it), and all the furniture is quite upscale. The 270-degree window offers Mount Siguniang's gaze on one side and the companionship of the forest on the other (I imagine the colors change with each season). What more could you ask for? And yes, there's even more. The service here is exceptional. All the staff, both the young ladies and gentlemen, are incredibly warm and welcoming, always smiling, and greeting you with genuine care. When I ran out of water, they brought me some in the middle of the night. When I experienced altitude sickness, they immediately brought me glucose water and an oxygen tank. There's a shuttle bus service to and from Changping Valley Tourist Center, and we didn't have to touch our luggage at all. Interestingly, we stayed at hotels belonging to the same group for our two nights in Shuangqiao Valley and Changping Valley. First, we were woken by a dream, then we gazed at the starry sky. It feels like fate, and it also shows that our taste in hotels is consistently good. We'll definitely be back next time.

My stay at Mercure Chengdu Chunxi Road Taikoo Li was absolutely perfect! The staff were incredibly warm and attentive; they even proactively helped with my luggage as soon as I got out of the car, making me feel right at home. The hand-drawn guide from the concierge was such a thoughtful touch, clearly marking all the popular spots for dining, entertainment, and shopping, which made my trip to Chengdu so much smoother. The laundry and ironing service was excellent – I dropped off my clothes in the afternoon and they were returned before bedtime, perfectly neat and tidy. This is incredibly practical for someone who travels frequently for business. The hotel's location is unbeatable, right next to Taikoo Li and Chunxi Road, making it super convenient for getting around and shopping. From the service and location to the facilities, everything was impeccable. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Chengdu and will recommend it to everyone I know!

We choosed this hotel because they offered drop-off and pick-up services between the hotel and the Jiuzhaigou scenic area. We also considered at previous guests’ reviews and photos of the rooms. Before we arrived, we had already communicated through WeChat, so everything went smoothly. They also informed us about purchasing tickets for the Huanglong scenic area and explained everything very clearly, even though I bought the tickets from someone else. Our journey from Huanglong took about 2 hours, and we arrived at the hotel at 8 p.m. We got a bit lost, but after calling them, four people came out to welcome us. From the outside, the hotel looked quite ordinary, but once we stepped into the terrace… it was unbelievably beautiful. They also have an outdoor area to relax. The hotel lobby is combined with the breakout room; it’s not cramped but not spacious either, yet still beautifully arranged. We went into the room and were shown how to use the facilities. The room was very beautiful, exactly like the photos, with a bathtub right in front of the bed. The toilet is separate from the bathroom, and there’s a work desk, snacks provided, towel amenities, and very nice slippers—everything was good and up to date. They even have a dryer for underwear or socks near the toilet. They also have a warm drinking water dispenser, which we found extremely convenient. There were plenty of power outlets, and the bedside lighting controls were very well set up. We slept very well until the next morning when we were heading to Jiuzhaigou scenic area. Breakfast was served steamed—corn, bread, sweet potatoes, and a bowl of noodles… the breakfast was sooo delicious. After finishing breakfast, we were taken to Jiuzhaigou in a Denza car and informed about evening the pick-up location. Everything was arranged very professionally. When we were done, we contacted the hotel and the car came to pick us up. The location is very strategic, with many places to eat near the hotel, so there’s no need to worry. I am very satisfied and will definitely stay at this hotel again if I go to Jiuzhaigou. The staff are extremely professional, the arrangements are very organized, also helpful. And I would have regretted it if I hadn’t chosen to stay here. Two thumbs up for this hotel.
