Free left luggage and hourly room bookings. I left my suitcase for a week after staying for 2 nights and then before my next flight booked a room for 5 hours. Perfect and easy to find if its your first time in China and you need time to orientate. Save on the airport left luggage costs. Great staff recommended. Opposite the domestic terminal just walk across the road take the lift to the second floor and walk across the air bridge to the lobby.

The hotel is very close to Sun & Moon Duty Free Plaza, and there are many small eateries across the street. It's also a short walk to Qilou Old Street. Although the hotel is a bit old, there wasn't any musty smell or other unpleasant odors, which I had somewhat expected. Being able to book this hotel during the Chinese New Year for this price, I felt it offered excellent value for money! That's why I decided to stay here again when I returned to Haikou. Xiao Wu and Xiao Jie were very attentive during my extended stay.

I recently stayed at your hotel and would like to share my feedback. Overall, my experience was very pleasant. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient, which made my stay more comfortable. The room was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything I needed. Housekeeping did a great job ensuring the room was tidy each day. I also appreciated the hotel’s facilities, which were convenient and well kept.

After our trip to Shimei Bay, we arrived at the hotel with my entire family, including young children and elderly parents, along with several large suitcases. We were understandably quite tired from the journey. Upon arrival, it was clear that the hotel had a significant shortage of staff both inside and outside the lobby – a stark contrast to Shimei Bay, where service personnel were readily available everywhere. Although there weren't many guests checking in at the time, and the scene wasn't particularly busy, given our large group and numerous bags, I had to proactively request a luggage cart to make things easier. For a resort hotel that prides itself on the guest experience, the initial service response would be much better if it were more proactive and if staffing levels were more adequate. Regarding the room, the promotional pictures I saw when booking showed a sea-facing view with a visible beach. However, the actual view from our room was quite different from what we expected. While we could see the sea in the distance, our primary view was of the hotel's pool area, and the beach wasn't visible at all. The visual impression didn't match the promotional images. During the Chinese New Year period, the hotel organized various activities, some free and some with a charge, which is understandable. However, it was quite surprising to find that even digging for sand crabs on the public beach area required an additional fee. Compared to the hotel we stayed at previously in Shimei Bay, the activity planning here was indeed a bit lackluster. On the bright side, the breakfast was excellent. There was a rich variety of options, especially the Pandan Tofu Pudding, Pandan Pancakes, and various Hainan noodles. These were not only distinctive but also delicious, adding a wonderful culinary delight to our mornings. What truly impressed us was the mature food scene around the hotel. From Coconut Chicken, Wenchang Chicken, Ding'an Jumping Beef (which can be hotpot or BBQ), Baoluo Noodles, Hainan Noodles, to all sorts of desserts and snacks – the choices were incredibly diverse. This added a lot of local flavor and memorable gastronomic experiences to our trip. The hotel's beach area itself was quite good. The sea breeze, sand quality, and the overall experience were very relaxing and comfortable.

On my road trip around Hainan, I stopped in Wenchang and chose the Park Plaza – definitely the right decision! The hotel is quite new, only two years old, and boasts a high level of smart technology, which is still rare to find in Wenchang. The room was clean and bright, with a well-thought-out layout and all the necessary amenities. Its central location in the city makes it convenient to get around, especially with so many historical sites in Wenchang, staying downtown was a good choice. The front desk service was incredibly enthusiastic; they proactively contacted me a day in advance and then called on the day of check-in to confirm details, which was very thoughtful. A special mention goes to the breakfast – it was absolutely delicious, refined, and perfectly suited my taste. The buffet stations were beautifully arranged, and the chefs frequently came out to check on guests and ask about their dining experience. Overall, a fantastic stay!

This hotel is a must-stay for anyone transferring through Haikou Meilan Airport. They offer pick-up from the airport and drop-off services. Even though it's been open for almost ten years, the facilities are still quite new. There's an amusement park. While there aren't many restaurants, you can order delivery, and the local 'Qingbuliang' (a sweet soup) and noodles are delicious! The family rooms are really nice! Highly recommend!

The room's lighting system has a one-touch switch to turn off all lights. However, the night light under the sink is too bright and seriously disrupts sleep 😴. I had to turn it off, which made it pitch black when I got up at night. The sea view from the room is fantastic. When I put on the 'do not disturb' sign, the housekeeping staff respectfully honored my request and didn't enter the room without permission. The concierge at the entrance was professional and courteous, proactively helping guests with their luggage. My thanks to them. The shuttle bus for the Haikou CNSC Duty-Free Shop stops at the hotel. It departs at 9 AM and 2:20 PM, stopping on the right side of the hotel at the 'Guomao Sanheng Road' Dadi Insurance entrance. Just wait 5 minutes before departure.

My family and I spent one night here travelling by car around the island. The hotel is located in a picturesque place and is made in the form of a small village, so you can drive your own car directly to your apartments, it is very convenient. There are charging stations for electric vehicles including two fast ones. The apartment has a large area and is very cosy, floor heating works in the toilet room which is very comfortable during cool weather. We were very pleasantly surprised that at the reception there is an English-speaking employee who showed a lot of care to us. Also, in the restaurant there was an employee who speaks very good English, who also explained how to go to the orange farm, where we had a great time, collecting delicious oranges on our own. We were very pleased with the hotel, especially the kindness of the staff. Definitely, we'll be back here on our next trip.

Facilities: The facilities are a bit old, and some of the sofas in the public service areas are broken. Hygiene: The hygiene is pretty good; the cleaning staff are very diligent. Environment: The surrounding area is very convenient, and getting a taxi is easy. It's also very quiet at night. Service: The service was good overall. The complimentary cocktails at the hotel bar were delicious, and the afternoon tea snacks were decent. However, the service at the tea lounge was very poor. They asked for payment as soon as we ordered tea, and then charged a 15% service fee for a pot of tea before we even had the first cup, because the waitstaff had other arrangements. After discussing the issue with the tea lounge manager, they recognized their problems and committed to improving their workflow and attitude. They offered a solution by waiving the tea and service fees and promised to definitely improve. It's great to see them acknowledge their mistakes and commit to fixing them! The construction of Hainan's International Free Trade Port starts with service. Extended stay benefit: Check-out extended to 2 PM based on availability: The hotel front desk was excellent, extending our check-out to 3 PM, which made our Hainan research trip much more relaxed and enjoyable. Extended stay benefit: Double Cloud Drive Afternoon Tea | Hilton Haikou's 35th-floor Sky Lounge: The tea snacks were plentiful. Kkeai343This is probably the most expensive hotel I've ever stayed in, nearly 3000 RMB for one night. However, the hotel's service, especially the quality of the staff, is truly outstanding and provided genuine VIP emotional value. I'd like to thank all the hotel staff again; I'll definitely be back. All I can say is, apart from the price, there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. Book with confidence, it's flawless. Breakfast at the Western restaurant was also excellent. Dinner at the Thai restaurant was superb as well. In a word, it's worth it. View: Amazing. Facilities: Though they feel a bit dated, they are actually quite good. Cleanliness: Excellent. Environment: Perfect score. Service: This is the best service I've ever experienced in any hotel.

GGuest UserI was pleasantly surprised by hospitality and care of the personnel. We arrived late, almost at midnight, they sent a personal transfer to meet us. The hotel itself is very clean, modern, comfortable and cosy. Worth every spent yuan! The breakfasts were diverse and tasty. The pool is a bit cold in the morning. The children's one is nice. The room was spacious, the cleaning, water and bathroom amenities were provided every day! Thanks for your warmth and care! Special thanks to Sophie who was always only one message and 5 sec away to help with any issue or answer any question. The birthday cake was a pleasant surprise for me, very touching! ♥️

SShudaikaolaThe entrance is impressive, even featuring a large Bentley to add to its grandeur. The lobby is beautifully decorated, and the service was great; they helped bring our luggage to the room. The view was lovely, and the room was very spacious, perhaps even a bit too big. The balcony has a drying rack, which was convenient for washing and drying clothes after swimming in the sea. The shower pressure was excellent and very comfortable. I've always liked Wanda's toiletries; they smell fantastic.

FfeyiuDuring the spring break, I took my kid back to China to experience the tropics, and the service booked through Ctrip was indeed excellent (thanks, Lucas!). The 3-night package for the open-plan family suite was incredibly good value. With a king-sized bed plus bunk beds, it easily accommodated three adults and one child. Although the room faced a construction site, the windows were well soundproofed, so there was no noise. The complimentary executive lounge access provided enough food for dinner (the popular delivery food in Haitang Bay is truly awful). It was very convenient to get to the duty-free shop, just across the road. The beach was clean and not crowded, and the family pool wasn't cold and even provided warm towels. There weren't many activities for older kids at the hotel, but we participated in crab catching, fish feeding, and snorkeling, which we found to be great. We also added an underwater photoshoot, and all the instructors were incredibly patient.

GGuest UserThe hallway on the 4th floor had a musty smell, but the room itself was fine. The Club Lounge food was excellent! My little one, Minbao, loved it so much she ate there two days in a row. They had a great variety, including plain pork sausages, ribs, rice, and roasted chicken, which was perfect for young children, and adults enjoyed it too. On the first day, it was very crowded, so we couldn't get a baby cot. However, on the second day, they upgraded our room and provided a cot. Just a heads-up: the Club Lounge package we booked was for a garden view. To get a sea view, you need to specifically book a Club Lounge Sea View room (the photo shows the view after our upgrade). Also, the room amenities list for the Club Lounge mentioned 6 complimentary laundry services, but this benefit has expired. Laundry now costs extra, though the price was reasonable – around 100+ for a pair of pants and a set of pajamas.

GGuest UserService: The front desk was excellent, even upgrading me directly to a duplex suite. There are a lot of Russians at this hotel, so I felt like the foreigner! It was like receiving VIP treatment. Plus, perhaps because of the Russian clientele, breakfast runs until noon, which is fantastic for late risers and vacationers – a proper brunch situation! Of course, with such late breakfast hours, the spread isn't overly extensive, more like a good 4-star plus standard. Cleanliness: The suite's cleanliness was decent. The hotel provided mosquito coils and repellent. I was confused about it during the day, but I understood why at night. Ambiance: It's an older hotel, hard to rate, but the value for money is very high. Facilities: Hard to evaluate. On one hand, it’s surprisingly well-equipped with a full-sized double bathtub, two bathrooms in the duplex suite, twin beds, and good soundproofing. On the other hand, it has that dated feel, and the projector screen for the attic projector was already worn out. But, credit where credit is due, the idea of a projector in the attic is quite clever. The gym was under maintenance. As for the pool, you need to be brave and unbothered by the Russians – if I'm not awkward, they are!

GGuest UserMy extensive research definitely paid off! I chose the perfect first hotel for my Sanya trip. I was a bit worried based on some online reviews, but after two days, it totally exceeded my expectations. The hotel's surroundings are beautiful, and the location is excellent; you can see the ocean right from the lobby. It has a huge pool and water play area that seamlessly blend into its private beach. While the decor is a bit dated and the facilities are older, the bones of the place are solid. The breakfast buffet was also decent and, for me personally, met my needs. Not far from the hotel are Baishuigu Valley and Yatai Commercial Street, with night markets, BBQ, and restaurants, making dining very convenient. After dinner, strolling back with the sea breeze was both good for digestion and very pleasant. Oh, and the hotel also offers free airport shuttle and duty-free shop buses, which is great. It might have been the off-season, but I was lucky enough to get a free upgrade to a room with an unbeatable sea view. For this price in Yalong Bay, it's excellent value for money. The front desk staff, especially CC, provided very thoughtful service. I'd love to stay here again next time I'm in Yalong Bay.

ZZiyouzizaizizhuzizhuThe location is great, with plenty of food, drink, and entertainment options nearby. It's about a 1km+ walk to Qilou Old Street, across the street and through the park, which takes about half an hour. The hotel's special feature is the deep well hot spring, and indeed, after showering, my skin felt incredibly smooth and comfortable. Additionally, the hotel offers various services like self-service laundry and airport transfers, and the breakfast is quite good. The downsides are that the bathroom had a slight odor, and there was some noise at night.

GGuest UserJW Marriott Sanya Dadonghai Bay | A Heartfelt, Must-Write Review This review is late, but it absolutely needs to be written. March 1st was the most chaotic, exhausting, yet ultimately the most heartwarming and healing day I've ever experienced in Sanya. A minor dissatisfaction arose during check-in the day before, which the hotel promptly and proactively addressed. It was a standard resolution, but what followed truly made me remember the warmth of this hotel. That evening, a family emergency led to my family member being rushed to the hospital by ambulance. I had been out all day, and my child hadn't eaten lunch or dinner. I dragged myself back to the hotel late at night, utterly exhausted both physically and mentally. The first thing I did on the way was contact the customer manager, Chris, asking him to arrange Hainanese chicken rice for me in advance, thoughtfully preparing room service for my child. Upon returning to the room, my weary heart was first soothed by a warm meal. We stayed in a sea-view room with a breathtaking view, yet we felt no excitement. My family member was still in the hospital, and I was busy until past 1 AM before finally getting some sleep. The coconut sent by the hotel was sweet and comforting. In that moment, no matter how beautiful the sea view, it couldn't compare to human kindness. What truly broke me and brought tears to my eyes instantly was the next morning. As I was leaving for breakfast, I met the cleaning lady on the 12th floor. I briefly explained the sudden family emergency and the many inconveniences at the hospital, only hoping she could help me prepare some disposable toiletries later. Throughout our conversation, the cleaning lady was incredibly warm and genuine, without a hint of perfunctoriness. She proactively helped me pack my clothes, carefully reminded me if I had left anything in the room to avoid me having to go back and forth, and even called the front desk to arrange for a luggage cart – I had originally planned to carry eight pieces of luggage downstairs myself with my child. This thoughtfulness was completely unexpected. Many hotels nowadays offer service with the explicit goal of getting a good review. However, this lady had no ulterior motives, she was calm, unhurried, empathetic to the guest's needs, and always thinking ahead for the guest. Her words and actions were incredibly considerate, like family. In my most helpless and chaotic moment, she didn't provide a standardized service; she offered genuine kindness and assistance. My heart was deeply touched at that moment. It's a pity that I didn't catch her name in my haste. I only managed to take her photo so I could remember her. I sincerely request that the hotel commend this excellent employee. She is a true gem of the hotel. Despite the unexpected events and regrets of this trip, the JW Marriott Dadonghai Bay, with its simplest and most sincere service, preserved all my tender feelings for Sanya. A good hotel isn't just about its hardware; it's about the human touch. Thank you for being my most steadfast support during my most difficult time.
