Hotels With Breakfast in Hainan, China

Arrived odd hours at 3am and couldn't figure out how to get to the hotel. As usual the contact for shuttle is only by phone call which is inconvenient for non-China citizens. Luckily able to latch on to others who were headed the same way. The reception could be friendlier but understand it is ungodly hours. Couldn't understand how to receive the hotel voucher and wasn't helped to do so. The hotel room itself was fabulous. Clean and comfortable bed and more than enough supply of drinking water. The bath tub was a plus too! Easy check out.

Our last stop on this Hainan island tour was Haikou, and we chose this hidden gem of a hotel. First, let's talk about the location – it's quite close to the airport and offers a dedicated shuttle service to the airport every hour. The front desk even calls you ten minutes beforehand to remind you to head downstairs. Next, the environment: the ground floor has a large reading area, like a library, with very comfortable booths. There's also a children's play area on the first floor, which is great for those traveling with kids. The room's cleanliness was good, and the bedding was comfortable. I'd suggest they switch from mosquito coils to liquid mosquito repellents for better effectiveness (because even with the coils, I still got bitten). Breakfast offered a wide variety, and the restaurant staff would come to your table to ask if you'd like rice noodles, eggs, and so on. Ordering takeout was also convenient, as delivery riders could bring food right to the room door.

I specifically chose this Hilton hotel because I was going to Wenchang to watch a rocket launch. The value for money was pretty good. If you're going to watch a rocket, make sure you know whether it's a commercial or national launch. Longlou Town and Dongjiao Town will have traffic control, and you'll need a reservation to enter. Commercial launches are in Longlou Town, which is very difficult to book. Although the hotel is a bit further away in Dongjiao, you can still get a distant view of the rocket launching. After booking, a butler called and added me on WeChat, recommending local food, attractions, and hotel facilities, and even arranging pre-booked photo shoots. Butler Lulu knew I was traveling with a child and recommended a family room. The decor was truly special, and there were astronaut suits to try on for photos. There are also many nearby attractions, including the hotel's mini-train, squirrel feeding, and various other fun activities. Although it takes about 5 minutes to walk to the beach, it doesn't diminish my fondness for this hotel. The photo shoot was particularly great. We could select photos immediately after, and the results were beautiful and efficient. Adding an extra photo was only 20, which is good value for money and left us with wonderful memories of our trip.

The front desk lady was friendly, attentive, and responsible—excellent! The room was great, well-equipped, and everything was new. The bedding was comfortable. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I was very satisfied. You can park near the entrance, and just scan a QR code at the front desk when you leave. It's close to the Meilan Airport High-Speed Rail Station, and they offer free shuttle service, which only takes a few minutes. It's incredibly convenient and a highly recommended hotel. This trip was totally worth it!

Facilities: Dated, from 2018. Cleanliness: I stayed in the Ocean View Ambassador room, and the cleaning has been very satisfactory so far. Environment: It's a family-friendly place, so with lots of people, some noise is to be expected. Service: The front desk was initially standard, everything was prepared for two people. After hearing we were staying three nights and that it was my birthday tomorrow, they arranged for Patrick, our Trip.com butler. He provided a range of itinerary services, saying to just let him know if I had any requests and he would meet them. Atlantis was a bit lively. The executive level was very satisfying; afternoon tea was better than the evening. Replenishing food was much faster than at other hotels I've stayed at. Patrick really made guests feel at home with a few things. 🥹 Next time, I hope my member benefits upgrade me to a higher floor ocean view suite! It would be great to experience a few different suites, yay!

the stay was pretty good overall, but the first room we checked in was moldy in some places, also some towels was slightly dirty, but they changed it the moment i pointed that out, the staff was really friendly and suggested other rooms to check in, they also let us check out a little later, since our flight was pretty late too, the breakfast wasn't bad, but the variety of food wasn't that big and mostly really oily

The room was great, spacious, and very clean. It even had smart voice control, which made setting alarms and turning on lights incredibly convenient. The front desk staff were very warm, professional, and had excellent attitudes. Plus, breakfast was included, which was a lovely way to start the day. The hotel also has washing machines and dryers, which was a huge convenience – I could take a nap and my clothes would be dry and sterilized when I woke up. I forgot to take pictures of the room, so I'll just use the breakfast and street view shots to make up for it. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and transportation is very convenient. I genuinely recommend this place!

This hotel near the airport is a pretty good choice for a layover. The shuttle service and inquiry service are excellent overall, very patient, thorough, and reassuring. The only thing was being woken up by an inexplicable call from the front desk in the morning; they hadn't clarified their needs and thought we had booked a shuttle, which was a bit disheartening. After being woken up, I went for breakfast, not expecting much, but it turned out to be surprisingly good. While there wasn't a huge variety, all the basics were there, and every dish tasted great. The auntie at the noodle station was very kind and accommodating, and the noodles were delicious. The pastries, bread, coffee, and fried noodles were all good too. The airport shuttle passes through a construction area, so the outdoor environment isn't particularly scenic. There are quite a few planes flying overhead, so earplugs might be needed, though it's not excessively noisy.

The service was quite enthusiastic. The hotel's location is also pretty good; we ate at the mall next door for three days, which was very convenient. It would be even more convenient if traveling with parents. There was a slight issue with the room we checked into on the first day, but after contacting the hotel, they immediately upgraded us to a better room on the second day. Much appreciated!
